asking for help with face recognition

when i enter media-scape then pic then friends i saw my contact friend's pictures and when i open any of them there is only 1 picture in each although before there were a lot of images for them although i have more than 8 GB of albums
what can i do ??

anyone can help me in this /?

Maybe you used Task killer and the Face Recognition app/service was killed. Not sure since I haven't used that feature yet.

Hi,
The face recognition isnt really consistently working for me. I shot two pictures with smile shutter and only in one it gave me the option to Tag the person in the Pic (which is not the same as setting it as contact picture)
So i dont really know ..
By the way the feature does not seem to work with dark-skinned people all to well ...

i think it is a problem with the software hope the updates become better

sounds a bit like the problem hp had with one of their web cams lol

[Q] Scalado Camera Apps?

Hi all
Recently Scalado released another great feature (remove) that works on camera, few months ago i saw they did a show case on another feature (rewind).
However, i'm wondering how do we get these features.. have they not been released yet? or they're inbuild drivers on our cameras?
i tried searching the forums, but didn't see much info on this.

[Q] Instagram Filters Issue On I9500?

So I've been experiencing filter issues with my I9500 for as long as I can remember...
Some filters such as X-Pro II, Brannan and Kelvin either give a black output or a previous filter that was applied. Sometimes they just flip the picture upside down.
Tried clearing data/uninstalling-reinstalling/unchecking features in advanced features, nearly anything I can think of. Have the app updated to the latest version.
Wanted to know if others are facing this issue as well and if they have resolved it somehow, would like to know in what way...
Running official 4.3 ROM (rooted/Adam Kernel)

Anyone?

same issue bro...I just avoid to use these filters...cannot find the way to fix, hope someone could help

Same here bro, i'm on omega 4.2.2 UBUBMH1 and Adam Kernel, my favorite filter is X-PRO obviously for everyone, i have filter problems which pixelate my pics when i upload them, my old S3 do better job than my s4.
Please if anybody know a solution to this frustrating problem, he'll be very welcome !
PS Just for laughs ; i'm using Genymotion android emulator on my pc, and using instagram on it to apply filters i can't on my pics to upload them. that F***** hilarious in my opinion as being a Galaxy S4 owner !!

same here bro...no solution...i've tried everything and still no luck...i remember it use to work fine in a old version of instagram and then in one update it stopped working....

Question about updated Gallery app

Not sure if this is the right place to ask or maybe move it to the apps section if need be. Ever since I got the updated Gallery app through August update all my pictures seem to be imported automatically to it, what exactly do I mean by this? Whenever I launch the Camera app and scroll through my pictures through the app it shows all recent pictures on my phone, before the update it would only show pictures/videos taken through the camera app, I would like to keep it that way but haven't managed to revert it, any clues?

Wish I could answer, just installed the update and it's a disaster, what were they thinking, tiny thumbnails and you can't read the album names! Dark grey font on a black background... DOH

If you pinch out on the album view it will give you near enough the same view as before, only problem I have, as already stated, is the black text on dark grey background, although that's probably the themes fault.

So no one else lost the feature of scrolling through the in-app camera gallery and just having content taken with the camera? cause I really hate having to go through all my stuff there to find a picture I took.

No mine still works fine, although if I'm using the camera from the lock screen it will only let me scroll through the pictures I've just taken, not previous ones.

I wonder how I messed it all up lol. I just tried that way, running the app from the lockscreen and I still get every single picture on my phone.

I am facing exactly the same issue.
All my screenshots, whatsapp, gallery pics and everything are populated in the gallery when I access through camera. This is highly annoying.
Earlier it was only camera pictures which were shown, is there anyway to fix this? Like installing the previous version or changing the access folder only to camera?

I found no solution, had to just deal with it. And I tried to somehow set the app to only access the Camera pictures when browsing through the camera app but no such luck.

Is this issue without any resolution yet? I know this have been posted a few months ago, I've searched everywhere but I didn't find any solution, did anyone else get some more luck than me?

All the apps are not latest updated like dont kno why but all apps are updated but are sometimes missing features like chrome is to latest but same version is on my other op5 and that resulted in a bottom address bar but not in MIA1
when we are in landscape mode many times the headsup and the notification panel is pulled from the top left side (if rotated as power button is facing sky)
In instagram like there is no option for superzoom am on beta also ..i installed app after sharing and then it worked for 5-10 min on app close and destroy it reverted with no superzoom
most of the apps are not to latest version and cant get updates if we check
some small freez sometimes
worst is the google old dialer even the caller photos are not seen

If you guys have same issues then its ok mi is lacking otherwise tell me the solutions :crying:

2. didn't notice this, but I'm not using phone in landscape much
3. not using Instagram
4. didn't notice this, all my apps get updated regularly (though I hope you're aware of staged rollout of updates)
5. not a single freeze experienced
6. by default we have AOSP dialer which lacks some features, Oreo should come with standard Google dialer

Yes the bar in landscape goes from top left instead from center. Dialer is pissing me off too, but it just is supposed to call. Didn't notice any freezes though.

3. I don't use vanity fair related apps. Still, out of curiosity I've checked Instagram and everything works - but I'm using the last stable December update.
4. Again, check your internet connectivity.
5. Haven't noticed any freezes so far.
6. The Google Phone app will be included as part of the Oreo update which is coming soon.

Internet is all good ..i am having both wifi and data (jio) works flawless but the apps are not as on the other updated apps (on other devices)

No issue with updating apps here.
I didn't have this kind of issue on notification comes from sideways in landscape mode.
No Instagram, not sure.
No issues with freezing after updated to December.
No one calls me. So....
