Love the look of these, but can't get it to work I have trued flashing in recovery and renaming to bootanimation.zip and placing in system/media. Only get the Google logo with the 2nd option. Anyone else able to get these working ??

No, you have to rename the zip to "bootanimation.zip" and place it to /system/media

So it seems that the boot animations don't work. I've had this happen once when the bootanimation.zip was too big. I'll take the useless black space away and I'll be uploading these back again tonight with yellow!

Hey I have the cm10 nightly rom and i was wondering if there was any way to change the color or images of the soft keys to something different.
Thanks in advance!

You can do it by replacing the images in the systemui.apk or might be able to do it through a theme as well.

One of my favorite guys for all things Android. Should work the same on your nexus 7 as his Galaxy Nexus. Maybe not the Exact same thing but similar concept and a good start.
P.S. you could also just flash aokp and it should be in settings.

Hey guys, I found another zip, this time its built for the S3 so it might work?
Heres the instructions.
Instructions:
1. Download the 4.2Camera.zip - Mirror file.
2. Place the zip file on the root of your phone’s storage.
Optional: Rename Gallery2.apk to something like Gallery2.apk.bak, or you'll have two Camera apps
3. Reboot into your recovery.
4. Just in case, make a backup.
5. Flash the 4.2Camera.zip file. (No need to wipe anything)
6. Once installed, reboot your phone.
7. Lastly, enjoy it!

Simple answer is no they won't become available on the 15th. Google needs to push the source, then developers need to merge code or rebase depending on what the team decides to do. This thread has become useless reading over the replies.
