Hello,
Is it possible to build OmniRom for the Motorola Xoom (MZ601) ?
Besides my S3, it can use the new encryption A5 / 3 option.

Thanks for a answer.....
gapps has required NEON since 4.2 or 4.3 I think.
So while you might be able to build a 4.4 Omni with a lot of work and hackery - you would have some serious gapps issues.

hey guys, i've been on a rooted stock JB 4.1 for awhile now and im very happy with it so far. But does anybody here have the latest CM mod nightly build? If so, is it worth it to flash it? my few questions are
1. what are the main bugs and issues have you found?
2. should i upgrade to the nightly build or wait a little longer?
3. what are the new features?
4. any major benefits from CM mod nightly?
As you can see, since my note 10.1 is rooted, it already works wonders for me... so is everyone happy with the current CM mod nightly build?
Hey All,
Just updated from the S3 LTE to the S4 LTE and so far I am very happy wit it
Just wanted to get your advice regarding the current Jelly Bean 4.2.2 installed, is it working fine? any issues with it?
I will root the device shortly and considering installing a different ROM, I was running the CM 10.1 on my S3, is there any difference between the CM available for the S4?
The new available ROM's will keep the most the S4 features available for use?
Any particular ROM people suggest?
Thanks in advance
Hi all,
I'm testing the CM10.2 nighties on my Razr M from two weeks. Everything seems stable but I want to try it with the SmartassV2 governor that the CM kernel is missing. I started searching for alternative kernels (like Aaaagh's one) and I noticed that the actual CM10.2 kernel is v.3.0.96: wasn't Android 4.3 supposed to have the 3.4.62 version instead? If so, why Cyanogemod is stuck with th old 3.0.96 version? I've searched for answers but I've find none...
Is it possible that every CM10.2 build has the old kernel, or is this happening only with the Razr M build?
Maybe I'm just missing somenthing...

3.4 kernel for MSM8960 isn't quite available yet.
Hopefully Moto will update to 3.4 if we ever receive official 4.2 (or 4.3)
You can contribute and follow the progress (dev wise) at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2243410 and http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/t...lopment-0610-android-booting-firmware-issues/
Ok, everything isclear now! Thanks for the quick response!
Basically we've two options:
1) use the 3.0 kernel with backported 3.4 funcions (the one integrated in the CM builds)
2) use a 3.4 kernel (like Aaaargh's or others) non totally adapted to our device
And all this because we're still stuck with Android 4.1.2 thanks to Motorola/Google/Verizon...
At this point, I think te safest thing is to keep using the 3.0 kernel... Apart for the new governors/schedulers, why soul I prefer a 3.4 kernel (maybe this is a silly question too...)? Are they usable/stable even if they're not exactly matching our device?
Newbie here.
I saw this thread about [ROM] CyanogenMod OFFICIAL NIGHTLIES - 4.3 - CM10.2 - D80 and I don't know about 4.3? Is this means that my G2 will upgrade to 4.3 with CM10.2? Thanks guys. Just want to know before rushing to CM10.2. And lastly does CM have bugs on camera/video settings/modes? Thanks guys!
I don't keep up with CM revision number nomenclature, so this may be wrong... Best place to ask is probably inside the thread you're asking about.
That said, I'm assuming CyanogenMod 10.2 is built from AOSP 4.3 source and has been ported to the G2 D80x models.
As of yesterday evening, I believe all the 4.3 ROMs were reporting a few bugs involving audio, wake lock, and camera. The latest GOO.IM GAPPS camera.apk seemed to be working, including panorama.
Again, I'm not actively monitoring the D80x models or CM, so this could be slightly inaccurate.
I have a Nexus 7 2012 Wifi running OmniRom 4.4.2 with the F2FS Lego Kernel which really improved the performance of my tablet that started slowing down after about a year of use.
My question is will the new version of Android (Android L) be compatible with F2FS? Maybe we wont need F2FS anymore since ART will be the default? Just asking to know if I should revert back to a stock kernel and wait for the Android L release.
Thanks!
