Yes..possible to flash MJ7 on top of MJ7 but not possible to give you official status.
As long as you have root..it will always be custom status.
One way to do it is to 'fake' it into official by using Wanam Exposed.
But it's only cosmetic...not a real official.

N9005XXUDMJ7 modem change = no baseband

Hi Guys,
I have a N9005 with XXUDMJ7 software I'm trying to change the modem baseband to N9005XXUBMI6 which is the one used by all Australian carriers. When trying to flash the modem.bin for the UBMI6 from DjeMBeY's thread the phone just boot loops with no baseband/reception. I was able to get the phone up and running again flashing N9005-2modems-DMJ7-RomDMJ7.tar.md5 that someone had posted in the thread. So the phone seems 100% operational again but id still like to get the N9005XXUBMI6 modem up and running if possible.
Any suggestions?
I have tried everything below MJ7 Modem and the result is the same , bootloops and unknown baseband. What I guess is that once you update you can't downgrade :/

please help I need to go back to MJ4 CSC

please help me, I was messing with my Note 3's CSC and now I'm on BMJ1 CSC. how can I go back to my stock CSC (MJ4 was the last 3 letters of the CSC)
×#1234#
Write down the csc on piece of paper
Www.sammobile.com/firmwares
Type in the csc minus the last 4 letters
Download the file ending with mj4
Either flash the full file or untar it and buile a tar.md5 with only cache.img.ext4

Nope you cannot downgrad from mj4, as it contains a new bootlaoder which prevents it.

This will NOT work.
You can try if you want (wonr trip knox or anything) but ull get bootlooped, better do a good backup.
Once u realized i was right, just reflash mj4 and evrthing will be fine again.

[Q] Unfortunately FlashAnnotate has stopped

Hi, i just got my new Galaxy Note 3 (European model sm-9005) and everything is working fine except the s-pen function "screen annotate".
Everytime i try to save or share the screenshot i have written on with the pen, i the message "Unfortunately Screenannotate has stopped" appears.
Also using other s-pen functions cause similar error messages.
I already completely reset the phone and tried several languages but it didn't help.
I hope someone can help me out, thank you!

Dats extreme! I had the issue one time. Flashing a custom ROM fixed it. Now i'm on a stock ROM, still works great. cheers!

Well, it was my friend's phone, he got mad and sold it because of this problem. Anyhow I am not familiar with ODIN, we tried to reflash using Kies, which said that it didn't support firmware reflash of Note 3. Ha ha. What else one could expect from Kies.

Rooting question

Hi Guys,
Ive recently purchased the note 3 and wanted to root it. Ive looked through the forums and am slightly confused on how to root without tripping knox. Can anyone advise on which method is applicable to me? My phone details are:
AP: N9005XXUBMJ3
CP: N9005XXUBMJ2
CSC: N9005OXABMJ3
Ive searched various threads and some say I can root using URDLV, others say I cant and people have had problems with firmware MJ3. The same applies for the Kingroot thread. Can anyone advise?
Thanks
Kingo shd work on mj3 from what i read, but ive never tried myself.
