Hey guys,
The button for making pictures with the front camera while doing a picture with the rear camera is greyed out. Any ideas how to enable it?
The rear camera has to be on for it to work. If you have the front camera on it'll grey out.

I used the rear camera, but still, the button has been greyed out. I got it working by erasing cache and data from the camera app but I would like to know what happened there.
Thanks for the reply!

Just wondering if there is any way to get some of the camera options from the S3 onto this phone? I miss the option that allowed me to change the colors that showed in the picture. For example you could take a picture that showed only the blue or green objects or red and yellow. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Yeah they didnt add a lot of stuff like macro amd the colors like u said

This phone doesn't really need a dedicated macro mode because it can focus on really close objects with its default settings.

I continuously have to tap the screen to get it to zoom on an object when close.

I don't see it in there. I see picture size, exposure settings, countdown timer and white balance.

We need the camera apk from nexus 5
Sent from my SM-N900W8 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Won't work. This is taken from the N5 board, about someone who lost HDR+
Thanks to everyone that helped out.
I found the culprit. I changed my build prop to be a Galaxy Note 3 so I could run Polaris Office.
I have changed it all back and after a camera data wipe it all returned.
So if any of you want to change the device name for any reason, it will disable the HDR+ mode.

But here's the apk anyway:

You can try changing your build.prop to a Nexus 5 but then you'll probably break other stuff on the Note 3
Is this possible? Mine just snaps a photo. I am even figure out how to zoom with the camera. Anyone got an idea? Cheers.

Just use two fingers on the display and zoom like you zoom when you zoom anything other on your smartphone. Its that easy
