Hey guys, I've been unable to install the TW based MIUI ROM due to some error during install. I am using the most recent PhilZ recovery.

Do full wipe and den try to install
Sorry, should've clarified but I've already done that many times. I've actually even tried flashing back to stock and re-rooting and still nothing :\

Well, you have some threads to ask this questions.
First of all, what MIUI are you trying? Datsun port or miui.com ROM? It seems that u downloaded a corrupt file. Try downloading the rom again, do a factory reset and try again. Post it here so we can help.

I would like to know which is the "correct" guidelines for updating my phone.
Hopefully to the latest CM version.

At the top of about phone. Thr shld be a system updates tab. Go into it.

I was rooted running 4.4.4 and upgraded to lollipop using the method to keep root, and that's how mine booted up. The only way I know of to get rid of that is to Odin back to stock and then take the lollipop update OTA.
I messed up while installing rom and this message is displayed 'Encryption unsuccessful'.
Please help

I was one oone plus 5 open beta 2 and then I decided to downgrade it to official build . I used ADB sideload to install the official build when this errors popped up after rebooting my phone.
Any help will be deeply appreciated.

I tried to install TWRP recovery on tab 4 t535 and i did it!
The problem is when i boot to recovery it look like this! Any tips how can i fix it

I guess you saw the stock recovery. Then, when you are in Odin, unckeck Auto-reboot option and then flash the TWRP and reboot to recovery with buttons combination.

Oh, ehm. Ok. It isn't a problem of TWRP, it's like it's a tablet issue.
