yes you can. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454079
Hi azerzeki - you can definitely install cwm on the Note 3. Do a search and you'll find out how. There is a lot of information on xda. You posted in the Android development section which isn't really the right place for a question like yours. Hope you get cwm up and running on your device.

Is there any problem while rooting
note 3 Sm-N900 exynos octa
and whats about knox in this version
is it like snapdragon ?-?
or its useful -!!

It has been one of the trending topics in this subforum because it seems as if the N900 didn't had any type of knox counter apart of the traditions flag counter, it is still to be known but right now it has been the common belief giving the Exynos users a little advantage over the S800 version.
And root it's achievable via the CF AUTO ROOT by Chainfire in the original development but if rooting is not necessary for you you are better off waiting a little more

What is the advantage to Root N-900 as it won't have CM based roms?

Lol....well I'd call it an advantage to be able to root a TW based ROM because I don't really care for CM on this device. You don't even need to root to be able to install CM anyways, you just need a recovery. The small community will grow, even someone's mom or little brother can compile a CM based ROM, so never lose hope!

CF Auto Root and Odin. There's loads of threads on this. Google is your friend also in this regard.
Here's the GT-I9505 and I9500 Root , Also mostly old root like Cofface's CWM Recovery root won't work on 4.3 , And some apps like GameCIH Don't support the Android 4.3
Also , Here you go!

You may not talk about that here because it possible contains malware. I would not recommend to use that method.
Hi
Mod Edit: "Best" threads are't allowed
Secondly if I root and then flash my knox gets tripped, if I flash another ROM does the counter keep increasing or just stays to 0x1?
Thanks.

If your phone warrenty not necessarily for you then u should go on.

remember rooting with cf autoroot will trip ur knox counter to 0x1, meaning your warranty will be gone. use towelroot method instead.

Don't suggest towelroot if your not willing to test it yourself ? That's like asking someone to brick their phone intentionally ?
If you won't do it don't suggest someone to experiment for you

you should really get your facts straight before accusating someone of anything. i've just used towelroot on my i9500 and it worked like a charm, didnt even trip knox.

Well try updating the thread you opened asking if anyone had used it ?
XDA is a community & people share tips & results. If you updated your thread then you could maybe helping others ??
So in your reply "get your facts straight" I didn't have the facts to make a decision on Ok

you shouldnt be suggesting me not to use others phones as experiments if you never ever had the facts (as u stated in ur last post). But whatever, just use towelroot if you don feel like tripping knox. good luck !
Thanks for the reply guys.
My phone is not in warrenty period. Its finished just before 2 days. So I am thinking to root it. And if warranty doesn't matter it is ok to use CF Auto root? Please link me to the CF Auto root and compatible CWM recovery for S4 i9500.
And one more thing I don't know about 'towelroot'.
Thanks...

totally agree....the guy makes a thread asking if anyone's tried it, but said he didn't want to try it himself because he didn't want to risk doing it on his own phone.....then goes telling other people to use it?
U should visit chanfire post and u will be known everything about root.

Yes it's fine to use chainfires autoroot
Here's the link to cf autoroot for i9500-just follow his instructions
Also the link to philz recovery here
You just need to download the .tar file from him & flash it just like you did with autoroot in odin
Thanks bro...

You shouldn't run into any problems just flash with odin and once flash is complete do a nandroid backup before flashing a new custom rom

I have successfully flashed PhilZ recovery.
Can I flash any Rom available for S4 i9500 to my device through this recovery? Or do I have to change recovery everytime to taste different Roms? Sorry for bad English.
