My nexus 4 seems to continuously forces the black navigation bar on me no matter what I do. This issue happens with both GEL launcher and nova. Changing the wallpaper fixes it, but only until I jump into a few apps, then it goes right to black from transparent. I also tried force closing the google search app and it seems to resolve nothing. I'm completely stock and running 4.4.2. Any help will be very appreciated.

Im having a problem with my notification bar. Its a few pixels larger then it should be when at the home screen and some other screens. On other screens it appears completely normal. Its a huge aggravation so any resolution would do me well.
With notification problem:

I have no clue whats causing this. This first appeared when I was using Liberty rom. I switched back to apex to get rid of it only to find it again. Any advice?
try installing a theme and see if it fixes it?
I'm using apex launcher and one of the problems is that when the screen is locked and it auto rotates to landscape mode, the entire wallpaper isn't shown and a part of the screen is black
I'm guessing the problem is with the way it crops the wallpaper when setting it
Any way to solve this?

No problem with icons placement with android 4.4 stock rom(KRT16S). Using apex launcher and with
the option to hide the top Google search bar.

This is driving me mad. About a week or 2 after factory reset or clean ROM install, my thumbnails all disappear and are only generated for new pictures. This is mostly a problem in wallpaper picker for GEL and documents. No matter what I try I cannot get them to regenerate. Anyone know how to fix?

Pure Nexus rom has this built in. One of the reasons I switched to it.
Chroma ROM has this as well.

Has anyone found a way to auto hide the navigation keys to come up when you swipe up from the bottom of the screen?
