Flashing a Kernel For Canadian won't Hurt my friend what i would do is make a backup first of my Rom after that try flashing a different kernel that's compatible for Canadian!

i'll be getting my xperia x10 (india) from service tomorrow or on monday!
i had some queries..!
1. i wanna root my phone..the firmware version was 2.1.A.0.435! previously i had tried with super one click and z4root but none of them worked. now i'm gonna try flash tool.!
2. i want to flash a custom rom so can u guys please suggest a good custom rom with fully working functions and a good battery backup .!

Flash tool will root any firmware.
All froyo roms have everything working. Gingerbread doesn't have camera working yet. You can try wolfbreak's cm 6.

Maybe because you were on wrong base band! What was your baseband?

Yes you can, but it might reset some values in the system that you or the ROM has altered. Also there probably won't be any visible changes in your phone usage.

I would like to try Flyme 4.5 on my 900T. That chinese guy "lushengduan" has miui v6 for s5 http://www.miui.com/thread-2518089-1-1.html and he says the same "基于三星官方底包4.4.2适配，适配机型：G9006v/G9008v/G900f，理论上支持G900I/L、SCL23，其他机型未测试，请勿尝试！！" and MIUI v6 works fine on my 900T.
Question: Could you upload all those files from OP on any cloud (mega, etc)? I cannot get registered, it is frustrating.

Managed to download it. Use chrome and go on baidu download site, change to desktop view. Now you are able to download the file. Would upload it, but takes about 2 or 3 hours with my slow inet connection -.-
Searching now for possible working kernels and trying to get it boot ^^
In chinese forum there is the g900f listed as working device with this rom....

Did you shut down the phone, remove the battery, wait 2 mins and the put it back together and DIRECTLY boot into DL mode to flash?

i have another problem now... my wifi become not stable any way to fix?after i connect to wifi i lost my connection to internet after a few second...but i still saw my wifi icon with 4 bar signal....but i have no problem with the mobile internet..
