....why not use the ones we have and then when you are 100% stock it. go into stock recovery and hit factory reset. it wipes everything including your whole internal memory.

and they are FULL Tars. Full Tars mean they include the whole update plus kernel and modem. doesn't mean it wipes all.

As I have stated I already used a few different ones. Would like to have an all in one if possible.

Im really trying to understand... You are saying you want to try one that has everything... But like the previous post stated , Tar files are complete...
GS4 Stock Rooted MJA 4.3,Philz Touch CWM,HotSpot Mod,Transparent Weather Widget...

Can you give us the url of the ones you tried already?

I just feel like this guy is making it hard. He must be on stock un rooted MJA full update if he used the links that are on here. How hard is it to boot into stock recovery and factory reset to get a full wipe.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

Yeah true, I've factory reset mine that way ,but the only thing is I cant use odin anymore...won't go through. Plus, I know everything is pure stock ,but I can't even update to mk2....it just errors out.

were you rooted before accepting the OTA on stock un rooted?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk

I am stock rooted and not trying to be difficult. I came from the s3 and the tar. Files would do it all. Every thing is good with my phone just wanted one that does it all. So when I break the screen (not if when) and can't see it ,flash through Odin and everything is factory and data is wiped that's all nothing more.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app

There is no wipe data of mja tar file yet. But there are other versions. But if your on mja then your just stuck with wiping it in stock recovery.

What will be the steps to update to mf9? Can I just flash the firmware and call it a day or are there extra steps?

I would back up your data to be safe and it's always good to do a clean flash with a new rom. Most roms come with a kernel.... FYI, if your WiFi does not work after flashing a Rom, just flash another kernel. Most times that fixes it.

Can't manage to boot.

I was going to try out the 4.3 alpha for Pac-Rom. I was on TWRP and I wiped and flashed and rebooted, and it continued to bootloop for some reason. I then tried to go to recovery, which wouldn't boot, so it was stuck on the teamwin logo indefinitely. I flashed CWM via Odin, and now I can access recovery. I tried wiping and flashing the previous ROM I had (the latest release version of Pac-Rom), still bootlooping. I tried using a wipe all zip, flashed a different ROM, same issue. Please help.

[Q] I think I soft bricked my S4

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337M from Koodo (Telus). And I wanted to get the latest 4.3 android on my phone, so I installed Cyanogenmod 10.2, and flashed my phone using that. I then realised that I didn't like the new display and wanted my old phone's display and firmware.
So I then proceeded to flash my phone with my Stock firmware using Odin 3.07. My phone didn't start up normally and is stuck on the part where the phone shows the Samsung logo. I can turn off the phone and boot into download mode, and I can access the recovery using Volume Up + Home + Power button. I have also tried to us the Firmware upgrade and initialization using Samsung Kies, but that doesn't change anything. Odin recognises my device, and Kies lets me flash using firmware emergency recovery, but I cannot open the files using the directory on my computer
At Odin Mode it shows the following:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SGH-I337M
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
I backed up all my data prior to flashing using Cyanogenmod, so I don't care if I lose my data. (Also my constant flashing will definitely stop once I fix my phone). Is this phone soft bricked or hard bricked? How do I fix this? Thank you in advance.
Edit: I was also using Clockworkmod Recovery. AND YAY! I can actually boot into Android system recovery. Sorry, I simply was not holding the buttons correctly. Should I do a factory reset?

Well that makes absolutely no sense. You took the OTA then rooted and flashed the NAE modem??? If you took the OTA why would you have to flash the NAE modem. Something is fishy here. Are you on the NAE upgrade or are you a piece meal install with mismatched bootloader, modem, and software. If you are on stock NAE then the lock screen should work as mine works with all options. If you are on a custom rom, that is where the problem is. Post a screenshot of your about phone info page or list the specifics of what you have so we can further help you.

You might be screwed until the stock tar comes out. If your baseband hadn't changed with the ota, then the update didn't complete. You may still be on the mk2 bootloader. There is suppose to be an app that can tell you what bootloader your on, but I don't know what it is called. You can try to Odin the mk2 tar file. If it completes your golden and then can redo the update. If it fails then you have the NAE bootloader. you can try installing a custom kernel to get wifi back, or see if you can find a copy of the stock NAE kernel.
