how to speed the stock room L7 what is the some tricks for them?
...by flashing the last V20f , or JB Extreme by szymel ! :silly:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2335287
http://forum.android.com.pl/f759/jelly-bean-extreme-4-1-2-a-342050/
(you can lighten them by uninstal or freeze unused apps for more fast ! )
because Stocks JB from LG ( no mods) are not very good for a L7 ... not enought RAM !
or you can stay with 4.0.4 ICS (version V10K) ...
why go back to ICS? is this faster than V20D?

Because v10k is faster than stock jb.
Loulou already gave you the best option. There's nothing you can do on your phone to make it fly. This phone had its limit because of its low specs.
Period.

you can test Fly on mod ==> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226373
It work fine !!! for ALL Stocks or customs roms ..... but not for "szymel's roms (because they are already tweaked ,modified ! )
thank you i will try this?
how to activate this fly-on?
yes you can !
read the topic for activate "entropy"
make a backup of your rom before ( but normaly it's very good ! ) if you are not satified ..........then ,flash with wipe dalvik and cache
Wow this guy never stop asking. :banghead:
I'm not trying to be rude but you need to read the thread op to understand, read the user's comments to know if it's working or not and lastly you need to try to fully experience it yourself and to know if it's working or not on your phone.
Then after you tried all these and still have problems or questions then go back to the thread, read the op and the users comments again if some users had the same problem as yours and probably it's already been solved. If you can't find, then ask on the thread.
By doing this, you will LEARN and understand how it work.
If you have doubt then flashing android is not for you.

Can I just say Thanks to everyone for creating these mods for the gt540 the phone needed a pick me up. Ive been trying a few..... more of the new mods rather than the 2.1 or 2.2 and there good. Im stuck on what to stay on and wondered if you could advise ?
Keep it up

An on another note there's allot of note on scripts and mods even apps but what about the browser some times I think am I on the wrong one ?

Do not unplug the cable if you're on KDZ updater.
Fastboot and recovery is much safer as they don't tamper with important partitions if you're updating/flashing a ROM.

hi
1. read carefully on how to use Odin
2. it is always advisable to do a factory/Data wipe and wipe delvi cache and then flash the ROM via odin and if u want to go back to the stock rom dont worry just look in the rollup thread and u will see some links with stock rom with out boot loader for u to flash
good luck and be care full read carefully before attempting to flash
Like it has been said before, it´s ok.
Just remember to follow the guide and you´ll be just fine.
I recommend to flash the Kyrillos Rom 9.2 with G3Mod 2.2.2 noc oc.
Hit thanks if it helped you anyway.
Best of luck
Thanks alot harree.
Also what about the Overclock thingy? and one more question i read in one of the threads that a bettery stats wipe should be done after installing the rom. Well i searched around and i couldn't find a thread on how to do that. I would appreciate if someone can help with that.
@iam_dragonmaster, how can i install the g3mod 2.2.2 non oc (i figure this is a kernal? how can i install a kernal when installing the rom?) with kyrillos rom? besides i can only install kyrillos 9.0 i think then have to use the update.zip thingy to update.

Boot into recovery using the extended boot menu and apply the update for kyrillos 9.2 by selecting zip from SD card and of course you need to put the update in your SD card. You can download g3mod kernel and flash it via Odin one package and it does not wipe your data . Also you can download the battery calibration app from the market and install it and follow the instructions. For me i use Zeppelinroxs die hard battery calibrator script. Can be found with the beta/test releases of v6 supercharger.

Hi guys,
This is my first thread and forgive me if im doing it wrong.
Im now using lewa os roms and i get it from this site http://www.xperiax8.com.pl/v0-4-t3103.html
link for rom is here http://www.4shared.com/zip/Yv4ZZt2R/A04__N_M_T.html.
use it with alf v8 for GDX(not CM7)because this rom is base from GDX.
This rom has few major weakness but i manage to overcome it with tweak and software.
Major Weakness
1.Poor 3d performance-Tweak it with Perfomance Boost by LtHuNTer_StepheN(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1503477)
2.No keyboard-install better keyboard(open zip files and install both apks)
3.USSD code wont work with default dialer-install and dial with fast_dialer_3.2.8mobihand.apk(if u feel annoying with reg pls help this guy & buy a full version)
4.Only have 2 lang(Eng & Chinese)i dont mind cause i always use English.
Greatest
-fast
-More free internal memory(less default apps)
-More free RAM
-beautiful ui(almost ferfect)
-Many themes-u can get it from here http://www.mediafire.com/?mfs8f6k81rzb5k9
-google apps-get it from here http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-gb-20110729-signed.zip(flash it after u flash the rom)
-build in swap, battery saver,RAM cleaner& Root Explorer(in chinese-i think a dev want us to learning chinese)
Warning
-make full wipe b4 install the rom
-flash chargemont fix for alf
-dont use with Naa kernel or wifi wont work
-i dont try it yet with stock kernell.Ur guys are welcoming to try it and please let me know the result
-lastly,dont blame me if u brick ur phone.its work fine for my x8 wih Alf v8
Special thanks

Yeah man...give it a try & pls post any comment in here.if anybody have better menthod to improve this rom,u are welcoming to share it.Im not sure if everything is working. As i know all basic fet. is working fine(call, msg,bt,wifi, games, camera&music). For me,i satisfy with it because it has difference UI from other CM7 roms.Im gonna stick with it until Paul xxx release full working version of CM9.(nobody will say no to ICS)
Does it have Any bugs?
I Actually Tested it.. And it Didn't seem to be quite impressive to be honest..
But okay..
Thanks for sharing anyway ;D
I don't know, Why some peoples are unliking the rom,
I found it really nice.
I had attached Antutu Benchmark screenshot.
You can see , its a great score without memory card score.
This rom is great in my views because it have a good UI with good performance.
It already stated that it has Poor 3D score.
I flashed Adreno library for ALFS ICS kernel.
I want to ask a question,
How to install themes ?????????????????????????
Hi there,
copy.lwt file to LEWA folder in SD and go to theme in menu or in setting(personal tap)and then import it.
very good style and the swapper option is very good!thanks
4.30 blisafo
does the MMS work in malysia??
friend,
why u ask this q?do you mean are this rom work with MMS?The answer is...I dont know cause i dont use MMS.its a litte expensive in here.sorry

if someone want se keyboard here is Sony Ericsson Keyboard thanks to _Sparks
LOL didnt' know someone will post this rom here man i think u need permission from original thread (there is a link on xperiax8.com.pl) Bcoz xda is dev site unlike xperiax8. I mean xperiax8 is site where u can find everything to our x8 i was just posting a rom there to get to know others from my country About keyboard etc. i just simply took one from GDX and its working
P.S. Thsi rom should be working with all kernels (im using Stock kernel and its pretty fast)
Regards
Thanks uremytoy, its would be great news for our bro & sis With stock kernel. Many of them cant unlock bootloader and stuck with it forever. This rom will be good alternative for them.
This Rom have not option for wifi tether or usb !
Hello there.. I'm sorry for opening one more, maybe, the same thread, but I opened it cuz I need to ask many question and I need frequent assistance.
In fact, that what I want to do is to install one of following Custom ROMS: Jelly Bean ROM and Hyperion 7x pre gm , of some ROMS I have seen, this two is best for me by the look.. I dont have experience with this, so this will be my first time to install. If u guys know something bout this two ROMS, is it good to install, is it stable, bugs, and ur experience, or if u know much better, post it there.
-Do I need to flash KERNEL too, or just can flash ROM? (sorry if it's stupid question) ; if I need which is the best?
-I did backup with my current files, first User data, then System data.. (I want to restore my apps with data after installing C.ROM, If it is possible..) ; also, if something goes wrong, should I need to backup somehow whole current stock rom?
That was it for now.. If I remember some more questions, I will post it.
Thank to all who will help.. :highfive:
Try this thread then... atleast next time don't create threads similar..

Ok.. Thanks.. What is a difference with custom kernel and stock?
JELLY BEAN AND HYPERION ARE THE TOP and THE HOTTEST ROMS AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW..........im not much a fan of jb,but i hv to say it got damn looks...the ui has been osumly customised.......performance wise ter are few issues may b bit slower compared to hyperion..... currently 3 to 4 updates have been out and ol are superhit
now going to hyperion pre gm ........its not complete in away..it was released to get more review and functionality check....but NOTE tis its highly performance themed...as it says it is the fastest and smoothest rom out now(except fr booting time)...look wise not so gud .. has osum features related to network...plus wrks grt with white kernel and his new zram update
major part>>>>>>>>>>>>>JB's next update NEMISIS is just around the corner.....
hyperion7x update is almost ready...hyperion 8 is under testing nd will be released by next year...
hope i gv u rough idea...

diff....custom kernel as the name says are customised fr performance, battery life etc.....it has many features including overclocking of processors to 1.2ghz ...
stock kernel is just fr basic operations it gives the features like standard stuffs.....ter would be hardly ny galaxy y user who would be using stock kernel

Well, you will have more features in custom kernel like firewall support and battery saving possibilities etc.. you need to do some searching and reading to know all about it.. as its too big to put it in one post..

No you don't need to flash a kernel and also if you were planning on flashing 1 you'd have to do it after flashing the rom just to be safe also I think jellyblast flashes a kernel (I might be wrong) in which case don't flash a kernel
To the backup question assuming your using titanium backup u can absolutely restore after flashing a Rom (that's the whole point) just make sure you backup all user apps and all system data
And to your rom backup question no you don't need to do a backup of your Rom assuming you have a pc you can just use Odin (a pc program) to restore stock if something goes wrong but you can do a backup using cwm that's what deadly was referring to when he said nandroid backup I don't do it cuz it's big

Yeah, agree with both!
Can u guys suggest me any safe and stable kernel in combination with this two roms? Not all Roms include kernels some just reflash stock i.e creeds also a Rom kernel that u get might not necessarily be what u want like repencis comes with a kernel but if you want to overclock u will need merruks kernel or undervolt will be savies kernel etc

Both of those are stable and again if jellyblast does in fact flash a kernel then don't flash 1 also if u have a pc it is EXTREMEEELY hard to brick your phone into an unrecoverable postion Odin will save u time and time again just read here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800
Also flashing a rom won't increase internal memory of your phone if u want more look into link2sd and partitioning your sd card

for increasing the internel memory ter r a numerous ways say a count of 3-5...but the stable and fastest and most commonly used is LINK2SD
but before u flash a custom rom...study about odin ..HARD BRICK SOFT BRICK AND ol......odin is the process by which u cn revert back ur device to the way it was......l
kinda like hard formatting or installing a new os in pc.......so plz before installing custom rom learn about odin, soft brick, hard brick, cwm, recovery mode, download mode
Ok guys! Thanks to everybody! Now I will backup whole stock rom via CWM.. But I have a problem there.. I can scroll till the last folder that can see.. After a last folder, I cant scroll down more.. IDK why..
At increasnig memory, I mean installed system apps uses less memory, and many may be moved, if I hear good, so you can make much space..
Also, I will ssee again which is best JB or Hyperion and will install it.. I will inform u guys how it goes.. Thanks again!
If you need help with installation.. you can check my guide in my signature.. it has all flashing guides you may need of.. just follow steps carefully..

hello ..
I tried several custom roms on my SGY, but many have bugs and other bad things ...
which rom you guys recommend me to put on my SGY (not like odex) (I like Deodex)
and also see people say that Stock Kernel which is bad recommend placing?
i'm noob!
all features have a proper explaination,
they are also available when you search in google,
stock kernel is fine and works really well,
there are just added features present in custom kernels,
there is a difference between odex and deodex (you can google that)
there is clearly no rom which is perfect without bugs...you can stick to stock if you want a bug free rom
For me. You should stick with your stock rom. But if you're a little techy and you want an os that is not compatible with our SGY, try out Custom Roms. I recommend Nemesis Rom hd v1.1. It has bugs but devs already have a solution. Just google it

That rom is banned for a reason and you are not allowed to talk anything about it. It is not an os made compatible with our phone, it is indeed a themed version of stock rom.
