Well you just want to make profit, but that's a dumb way make profit...why don't you research and find a wholesaler to sell it to you so you can sell it for $10
The people who get donations deserve more money then they get (Because they provide to us, they DONT SELL TO US). And you aren't providing anything so I disagree with you.

And where do you think I get them from eh? I get direct from SonyEricsson but have sold loads on ebay for £20. some people pay more for the convenience! And I make a few quid at the same time!
I could just get it from the service centre i guess, like a few minutes of time
I sent an email to SE asking where to get a replacement because the black paint is mostly scratched away.
The told me to send them the SI-Number and they will send me a free replacement in the next 14 days.

i would go with black front, silver back. where did you get the housing from? is it OEM?
the other way around, and yes its oem, was ordering the replacement parts with the repair guy (from an s.e. service point) and had him order the black parts. and kinda liked the result
Figured I'd post this so everyone who may want to get on a pretty sweet deal!

I really see no point in these, as the phone has gorilla glass >.>
Hi, this morning, my phone was dropped by about 3 ft and the screen cracked. I can't even unlock the phone because the touch screen controls don't work.
I bought my phone from the Google Play store for £289/
What are my options?
Thanks

Where can I pay to get my phone fixed? I'm in the UK, will shops like o2/three provide fixes?
Also, I bought it from the Google Play store, if that helps.

If you paid with Visa SIgnature, American Express, etc...a lot of them have a 90 day policy of covering electronics, even if you broke it.
Thanks, I paid with a regular Visa debt so I don't think I'd be open to those types of policies.

Check with your bank - policies vary depending on your account package.
Check your home contents cover - mine includes loss &/or accidental damage to phones and other devices both at and away from the insured premises.

You can ship it to the States and have them fix it for $140 US, but they have to ship it back when repaired to a USA Address. If you know a friend in the states, you could send it in and he could in turn ship it out back to you in the UK.

Hey guys, first post on here!
I've just got a Nexus 4, which after having a Sony Xperia Arc is SO fragile. I could throw the Sony across the room and it would be fine, the Nexus would be in pieces.
So, I need some sort of protection. I don't really want a case for it as it will make it too bulky and cumbersome to fit in my jeans pocket. I'm looking at bumpers. Am I right in thinking that a bumper should protect it well enough as it raises the front and back, not allowing them to touch the ground?
Anyone had any experience this bumper? (The official one is always out of stock)
GENx Hybrid Bumper Case (can't post a link)
Thanks for any advice given!
The poetic bumper is very similar to the official google one. I havent dropped it with the bumper on so I cant speak on the protection. The edges are raised so it should protect it fairly well from drops. Im sure others will chime in
I've heard bad things about the Poetic bumper
I've had 5 (yes five) poetic bumpers and not a single one has lasted more than a week. The soft rubber separates from the hard plastic and just peels away. I did contact poetic and they sent me two replacement units but they still had the same problem so I'm not even going to bother anymore.
The poetic is good for 10$ but buttons aren't easy to press.

all the poetic bumpers that I have are still in one whole piece. Also the buttons are NOT hard to press...

Same. I did purchase it i little later so Im sure I did not get the faulty batch that they initially shipped. They have already addressed those issues OP, ordering now should be fine.
What's the contact info for Poetic? I have a bumper that's peeling, and I'd like a refund or replacement, but I can't find them on the web anywhere. Do I return through where I bought it (Amazon), or how do I contact them directly? Thanks!

Through amazon. Go to your order history and find your bumper. Then there's the option to file a replacement.

Huh, no, there wasn't that option. This is really annoying. What good is a "3-year warranty" with no way to get warranty service?
Anyone else have Poetic contact info?

I had the separation issue so I contacted Amazon and they paid for return shipping and also gave me a full refund. Love Amazon.
Go to www.yourpoetic.com and contact them through their own website.... That's what I did and they sent me another one that's perfectly fine
Just a side note tho...the poetic bumper doesn't work with the wireless orb.

I had the Poetic bumper which started to fall apart.
When I first used it though, I loved it. The buttons were easy to press and had good feedback. When the bumper fell apart, the Official Bumper was also in stock again. I decided to buy the bumper and the Ringke Fusion Case.
The Official Bumper is great. Pressing the buttons feels like I'm pressing the button on the actual device. The texture on the bumper makes it very easy to grip. Hard to use anything else.
I would personally buy the poetic since I've heard the quality is much better now and won't fall apart as easily and fairly cheap. Then try to get the official bumper when it's back in stock.

you can contact them through amazon. Just check your order info....either that or go to yourpoetic.com and contact them through the site. You do not have to return it. They let you keep it.

This item is being sold illegally whitestone will be taking legal action against the factory. They hold a patent on this UV glue kit.
+1 for being interested.
Also interested, as someone who has spent so much money buying whitestone's for S8's and Note 8's in my family

If you guys are interested...maybe i can throw i giant order together... You don't get the warrenty that whitestone offers...but its legit 30 -40 dollars cheaper then the Dome kit. ill be standin by

Not yet, I need to test the cases first.. The S9 is cut differently then the S8. I should have the phone next week and will be testing as many Cass as I can.. I'll have a guide up for it... I would do it here... But people seem to want to accuse me. Of trying to sell stuff.. Which I'm. Not.. Just asked if anyone was interested in going on on a bulk order with me.

Well, I am interested but will they ship 10 packages to ten different locations? Or you will ship them once you get them? If you will do it than obviously the shipping cost above the product price, I am in UAE so I don't know how much will it cost to ship this from your country.
I would also be interested

have you received the product yet? Well considering no one has yet got a s9+ it's hard to test
Very interesting, probably made in the same factory. Only crappy thing about ordering stuff from alibaba is sometimes the shipping is on a very very slow boat from China
+1 on saving $30-40 . . .

It is, just confirmed with whitestone.. Apparently they have a patent on it... So someone might be in trouble? I doubt it tho.. I mean. China stole stealth tech from the US and.nothing happened lol

Yes defo interested. Even this is cheaper than Whitedome. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For...rotector-with-Install-Kit-UV/32848566938.html
Been in contact with the seller, whitestone can't sue them one bit lol... they are not selling in US or through a US resell channel. Their glue is also "patented" so I will see how good it is after I get my first one.
Did you order yet? I am interested as well. I am in NY.
There are other sellers on alibaba which are selling the same thing, I have asked a few of them if they can ship 1 or 2 items instead of 10 as samples or something, lets see if this will work or not.
Purchased and received my dome protector today, just installed it with no problems. Im a First time user and I'm surprised how easy it went. I carnt see how they justify the price tho. And surely they could at least sell just the glass and liquid for a good price as a replacement kit is still expensive.

Whitestone has sold it for so much because no one else has had it - with the knock off coming out of china now, well, Whitetone may have to come down in price to remain competitive - I guess it all depends on the quality of the new one - and whether Whitestone does have a claim for patent infringement and even if they do if they can really do anything about it. They wouldn't be the first ones to have their product ripped off and sold cheap out of China - happens all the time - Personally, I won't buy products like that. Just on Principle. (look at the ad on Alibaba from the link that was posted - it looks exactly like the Whitestone Dome Glass.
