Hi, I have installed Cyanogenmod 10.2 stable release on my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 and for some reason I connect to my WiFi router, and then only a couple minutes later it says the WiFi is connected, and yet nothing loads in Chrome.
I also installed CM 10.2 with the Cyanogenmod Installer.
Thank you for your help!

I'm using the i9505 Pacman rom and am unable to connect to my router on channels 12 or 13. 11 or lower work perfectly, but that's not a solution.
I've tried changing the wifi region code on the handset but the results stayed the same.
Is this a bug with CM 10.1?

I jave the smae issie with a slighty modified AOKP and CM 10.1 for my htc one x+ so it could possibly be
Still no word on this at all?
I know there has been a lot of wifi problems with Dlink Dir-655 and I9505. While on TW rom's i solved this using a guest wifi in the router.
Yesterday i flashed MIUI that is based on CM 10.1 (after flashing a stock rom and wiping everything). Wifi works great at work and when trying tethered networks using wpa2, non broadcasted wifi's etc but at home it doesnt even try to connect to either one of my networks.
Is the wifi problems the same for CM based rom's? I was under the impression that the wifi driver would be different than samsung stock and therefore not have the same issues? Or is it a HW issue? Any workarounds possible?
Been googling/searching all over the place but can't find any answers (looking mostly for wifi issue on CM as MIUI is rather uncommon).
Hey
I was using phoenix rom and everything was okey but after the cm, wireless keeps disconnects like every 20 30 seconds. Is there anyway to fix this? i dont want to back to my old rom.
Also i full wiped before dowloading cm 13.0 and searched through the forum but couldnt find an answer.
samsung s5 g900f
update:i think i have fixed by changing my wifi setting/channel to use only 2.4ghz.
Happened to me also yesterday, was annoying a bit,but fixed itself after i rebooted my phone, you can also try that if 2.4ghz doesn't work in the future
I have recently installed Cyanogenmod 13 to my Galaxy S4.
Since then, i have some Problems with my Sound and randomly Closing applications.
1. The Sound disappears after some Time. The Sound works fine for a few minutes after I started the Telephone.
I have tried some Things:
Fullwipe the Phone, reinstall everything
Reinstalling the newest Samsung firmware, installing Cyanogenmod 13 again.
Reinstalling an older Samsung Firmware, Installing Cyanogenmod 13 again.
The Problem is still the Same.
A Reboot fixes the Problem temporarely for a few Minutes.
2.Applications close or Freeze.
Apps like Twitter or 9Gag freeze, most time when I want to Open a Picture, Video etc.
Just reading works fine.
Closing the app and Restarting the app will Fix it temporarely.
I am Currently Running the 01/20/2016 Nightly, Older Versions or the newest CM12.1 Snapshot have all the same Problems.
Baseband Version: I9505xxugnf1
Are these Problems known or am I the only one who has this Problems?
Problems vary from user to user. So you might very well be the only one.
There are some other CM13 versions (Kushan, Synergy) you could try. Assuming you have a GT-I9505.
Or CM based roms like Resurrection Remix, AICP, etc. But since they are based all on CM, the problems might persist.
Hello.
I have recently installed CM 13 on my Note 4 (SM-N910G). I know that CM 13 isn't officially supported for the Note 4 but i flashed it. The issue I am having is with WiFi. When I try to turn on WiFi the switch in settings is greyed out. While doing the initial setup at the connect to WiFi page it said Turning on WiFi continually. Is there a fix for this??? I also flashed CM 12.1 which is officially supported for the Note 4 and had the same issue. If i restore to the Samsung ROM through TWRP Recovery the WiFI works fine. So is this a ROM issue in CM 13 and CM 12.1 with the Note 4???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
