[Q] GT-i9505 cant return to stock - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well first off i'm going to have to make some apologies, i am a noob and i have made some very noobish mistakes i hope you will be kind forgive my stupidity and possibly even fix my mistakes.
I will try and provide as much information as i can hopefully that will help.
I have a S4 GT-I9505 which has been rooted with custom roms pretty much since the day i had it, very stupidly i didn't make a backup of my my phone while it was on stock (yup stupid i know). after going through many roms i settled on Omega 4.3 after some time i noticed apps like PVZ 2 wouldn't run on the device so i decided i would return to stock 4.3 and see if they worked then.
I looked in to a few guides for how to unroot the S4 and after following them i failed, each firmware i tried failed (possibly i tried the wrong ones) firmwares i have tried
BTU-I9505XXUDMH8-20130904171444
XEF-I9505XXUEMKF-20131130113349
GT-I9505-BTU-I9505XXUAMDM
I9505XXUEMK8_I9505O2UEMK1_O2U
One firmware i tried that did take then wouldn't turn on the wifi it remained grey. after some time i decided just to restore my backup of omega 4.3 since then my phone crashes when i try to make calls the screen turns black vibrates and remains black until it crashes to desktop or i turn the phone off. deciding i must have messed up quite badly i have spent the last 3 days reading XDA topics and posts trying to find a fix but nothing seems to work. i found this topic which seems to resolve the issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2443020 after downloading a firmware ending in "H8" (BTU-I9505XXUDMH8-20130904171444) and trying to use it in odin (3.09 3.07 and 1.3) i get this error
<ID:0/004> rpm.mbn
<ID:0/004> aboot.mbn
<ID:0/004> FAIL! (Auth)
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
i have checked kies is disabled via task manger, run odin in admin mode and tried multiple versions of odin i am at a loss
i have also noticed that my phone says this on boot.
"kernel is not seandroid enforcing"
"set warranty bit kernel"
i looked in to it to find out it doesn't seem to be a linked issue but hey the more information the better right.
I am very much at your mercy any help you can offer would be much appreciated

Ur latest firmware available is HERE
U need flash it with Odin 3.09 and I think all will go ok. Anyway if u have problems with ur WIFI is maybe u still having wrong MODEM. U will have to flash "new" modem then. How?
1. The correct modem for the new firmware is HERE
2. Steps for flash it
- Use Odin v3.09
- Untick Autoreboot
- Flash modem
- Reboot manually into Download Mode using (Vol Down plus Home button combi)
- Flash Modem once more
- Once done, unplug then reboot device manually.
- If this doesn't work, try repeating the flash process again while rebooting manually and with auto-reboot option turned off.
3. If u still without wifi, try this wifi fix
- Open in Odin as PHONE!!
- WiFi FIX: HERE

thanks
thank you very much
I had to install the firmware twice and wipe a few times but it worked you are my personal hero.
thank you for your time and help have a great day

[Q] HELP!! I9505 bricked when flashing Odin 3.04 XXUDMH8

hello! can someone please help me with my galaxy s4 GT-i9505. I really need your help on this!
this is what happened,
a few days ago, I Got my phone unlocked from its carrier GLOBE here in Philippines.
the tech flashed it with older firmware before unlocking my phone. all went well after that.. but my phone was running an older firmware since the tech flashed it with older firmware before unlocking it.
the next day, I decided to flash it and upgrade with the firmware I9505XXUDMH8 from this website http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/504394/20130907/galaxys4-gti9505-official-android422-xxudmh8-jellybean-update.htm
all went well after that. but I encountered problems on rooting and flashing with custom kernel. I've learned that the firmware I flashed from this http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/504394/20130907/galaxys4-gti9505-official-android422-xxudmh8-jellybean-update.htm website includes Samsung KNOX which they say can cause rooting problems and etc.
knowing all that stuff, I decided again to revert to an earlier version of android 4.2.2 for gt-i9505 which is the I9505XXUBMG5 which I got from sammobile.com. hoping to stay clear of the KNOX rooting issues.
when I tried to flash the I9505XXUBMG5 firmware with odin 3.07, it said FAILED and now I can't basically use my phone. I'm stuck on "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I tried flashing back the I9505XXUDMH8 which I got from here http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/504394/20130907/galaxys4-gti9505-official-android422-xxudmh8-jellybean-update.htm but it still fails!! why???
I've read somewhere that the latest firmware I9505XXUDMH8 that contains KNOX can cause issues when you would try to downgrade to an earlier firmware.
I've just read that thing after I flashed to an earler version. hohohoh. has anyone been in this situation?
please help! I hope someone could help me on this. all insights will be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance!
Go to recovery and factory reset, should fix it.
If not Just flash MH8 again in Odin and then factory reset.

1, Make sure u have no Kies programme running in the background kill all that and try flashing the firmware using odin
2 , if that does not wrk try flashing with "pit" file along and see the result make sure to use the correct pit file or use the link Here
Also try some different latest stock firmware u have it available
One suggestion don't panic all will be fine I have been to this situation more then 6 times using different galaxy devices all were recovered
U can also use the help thread link on my sign
Edit : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2419762 one more helpful link here
I had the same issue while flashing mh1 modem. I changed to different usb port and flashed my old modem back with newer odin.

UPDATE! problem SOLVED
thank you for all your responses. I've figured out the problem and found the culprit.
It was the USB ports of the PC I was using to flash the phone.
FIX: I tried flashing the phone from my gf's laptop with the MH8 firmware and wallah!! odin did not show any fail and I was able to use my phone back..
after everything went fine, I tried flashing back the UBMG5 firmware just for the heck of it. then ODIN showed failed. so I flashed back again to MH8 firmware and everything went OK again..
FOLLOW up Questions:
1. can't we really go back to an older firmware version?
2. I wonder what was causing my phone to constantly disconnect from the USB port. but in my gf's laptop seems to be ok and working
(I have tried it from two PC's.. it disconnects on my pc at home and my work pc)

You are stuck with MH8 firmware, worse you have KNOX and can't use all those neat little apps that require system access to run.... Even if rooted...
The new bootloader that Samsung released is REALLY going to kill Samsung support in this community. Bit stupid really as most of the latest features on their new phones started out as an idea on this site by people who wanted more out of their phones and worked out how to do it....

damn. we'll i'm still hoping some developer would find a work around about this knox issue.
Same thing happened to me with MH6 (Singapore)
So here's the thing - I have a mild vision impairment and having bold fonts throughout the entire OS helps a lot. I've always used "MyFont" to change the UI font to Akzidenz Grotesk Bold (gorgeous font, really)
So anyway the MH6 update broke MyFont - something KNOX related I suppose - it couldn't apply the font changes anymore, even though it worked perfectly fine on stock unrooted MG5 firmware
So I dug up my old XXMEA firmware, Odined my phone... then I had the worst "bricking" experience I ever had
a. Couldn't make calls (black screen)
b. No sound output from speakers whatsoever (no boot sound, no touch tones, the phone doesn't "beep" when adjusting the volume, etc)
c. Erratic connectivity to H+
d. WiFi unable to turn on
e. Very unresponsive UI
So I updated to MH6 through Kies (on another PC), wiped data, and then it refused to get past the "Samsung Galaxy S4" screen - it just hung there. I flashed broodplank's vanilla 4.3 over it, and managed to at least boot up (albeit with the same issues). THEN I noticed that the baseband was still MEA - which meant that Kies kinda failed as it upgraded ONLY the main firmware but not the modem - perhaps that's why it wouldn't boot up?
After many hours of trial and error - I managed to get my phone back in working order.
1. Flashed XXUDMH6 modem
2. Downloaded XXUDMH6 (MM1, my telco) from samsung-updates.com, Odined it
3. Success
But it's kinda disheartening that Samsung "locked down" the phone with these latest updates.. what a shame. Definitely getting a Nexus when my contract is up.. even though here in Singapore they're overpriced
Hope this helps anybody stuck in the same scenario - the gist of it is.. if you want your phone to work properly, you can't downgrade your firmware. Kinda like Apple.

Thank you adrian - I had exactly the same problems after I tried to re-install an older stock rom after the Knox install.
I had no wifi, the phone dialler would show a black screen and would crash the phone, plus i no longer had any system sounds.
This was down to an incorrect baseband and firmware combination that needed to be reflashed via Odin in the order that you mention in your post.
I have a German Telekom.de SGS4 and now have the following config:
Baseband I9505XXUDMH9
Kernel 3.4.0- 1220396 [email protected] #1
Build number JDQ39.I9505XXUDMH9
SELinux status: Enforcing
Thank you!

Means u cant downgrade no more bro. Once you have updated to a newer firmware, it also means that ur bootloader has also been changed.
So when u try to downgrade, u are only downgrading the firmware. But the bootloader still stays the same which only works for the latest firmware u've flashed. This might explain why some things i ur fone doesnt work after the downgrade.
Hope this answered ur question

[Q] problems with repair centre

hey guys just after a bit of advice. i have had issues with my g900I overheating back in December so i sent it away for repair but they said they couldnt replicate the fault and it must have been a third party app causing the problem.
so it carried on fine only overheating a few times up until the end of last month when it decided to die on me all together it froze on me so i took out the battery and turned it on again only to find that its stuck in a boot loop did a factory reset same thing cleared the cache still no luck. sent it away for repair.
now its important to say at this point that i have not altered this phone in any way what so ever no root no custom firmware only system update back in November that was done through the phone. i even notice that when i accidentally put it into odin mode ( used wrong volume button when trying to wipe cache) that the nox counter was 0x0 and firmware state was official .
so i get a phone call from the store telling me that the service guys have come back saying that my warranty is void because unofficial firmware was installed on the phone.
what do i do? did i void the warranty by wiping the cache?
im sure i could probably fix the phone if it really came to it by rooting and installing lollipop or something but its covered under warranty because i know i haven't tampered with it. i was going to as i have rooted other phones in the past but for some reason something was holding me back this time.
Fight for your right, tell them I did not install any unofficial firmware
Also ask how did they found it's not official firmware
Sent from my SM-G900H using XDA Free mobile app
I would insist that you had not installed anything other than official firmware and that you want proof that unofficial firmware has been installed with full details. Wiping the cache should not void warranty. - they often recommend it to resolve problems before sending it off for repair. Threaten to take the issue to the ombudsman or whatever authority oversees this area. If you're in Australia I'd refer it to the ABC TV program The Checkout if they continue to be obstinate. I'd be standing my ground on this.
ok so both the store and samsung are refusing to do anything about it they both told us to take it to court because they would win anyway. will not be buying from harvey norman again or buying a samsung product again.
so im trying to see if i can fix it myself i have downloaded the file i need to upgrade to lollipop and have flashed with odin but its still stuck in a boot loop what else can i try

Since warranty is void anyway download TWRP recovery latest one and flash it in odin. Then entery recovery by press power +home+ volume up when the phone is off (it will take 4-5 seconds to enter recovery and you will get seandroid is not enforcing something error) just wait recovery will boot up there go to wipe > advanced wipe > wipe cache, dalvik > internal storage, data & system. then come back and hit "format data" type yes. then hit where it says swipe to factory reset. After this take out the battery and enter odin mode when the phone is off by holding power + menu and volume down button . Flash a stockfirmware downloaded from Sammobile. Formating and the other steps that i have mentioned before flashing stock firmware will most likely solve your problem
NOTE : USE ODIN 3.10 (its here on xda google it , dont download from any other source)
Report back if it worked.

hi thanks for your sugestions but its still happening after i install twrp i do what you say then flash latest stock rom for my device whixh is this (G900IDVU1BOE1_G900ITNZ1BOD2_G900IDVU1BOD2_HOME.tar.md5) once its finished the phone reboots i then get the image of the android on its back with its belly open the bar fills to half way then the device reboots gets past the spark screen and stays on the samsung logo.
im just trying to download kitkat now but from a different site as for some reason sammobile doesnt have the GALAXY S5 SM-(G900I) on there page now. i have also tried installing XtreStoLite_ROM_v2.2_LP_XXU1BOD3 but same thing it tells me its installed but then wont boot??????????????????
not sure what else to try not sure if its worth mentioning but have flashed that xtrestolite several times now and knox counter is still at 0x1
Okay then you have to try a pit file along with the recovery a pit file basically repartions the phone and is flashed with stockfirmware. I dont knw how exact procedure but its also done with Odin maybe senior members can help

this is after flashing cm-12 its starts to boot then krashes again.
if i use stock rom then i get past the spark logo which sometimes has a real distorted picture then i get the samsung logo (sometimes with sound) and if im real lucky i get to a point where its trying to install apps gets to about 70 of 170 or something like that only had that a couple of times so not sure on exact wording

They just looked at the knox counter im pretty convinced its a hardware problem from the overheating i really have no clue how i could have voided the warranty i have never rooted and the only updates i have done are with kies apart from what im doing now of course
Ok so a bit of an update.
I have tried flashing several different custom roms with no luck
I have flashed both stock 5.0 and 4.4.2 and I have tried stock with twrp with all the advance wipe as well as different kernels.
Once I started playing around with the kernels I was able to get stock 4.4.2 (g900idvu1ank1) with chronickernel-kk...klte v1.5 it would boot up fine then crash once I tried to install from play store.
From there I was able to flash the stock rom 4.4.2 (ank1) but not 5.0 when ever I try to update I get stuck in the boot loop. However I can successfully run 4.4.2 install backups from keis but as soon as I put my SIM card or my wife's SIM card in the phone crashes and gets stuck in a boot loop until the sim is removed.
What else can I try is this just a glorified MP3 player now

Anyone have any idea
so after several months and several phone calls to samsungs head office here in nz they have finally agreed to fix my phone at no charge they will be replacing the main board so im hoping that will remove the tripped knox counter. :victory:

Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9500 firmware upgrade problem

Good day everyone. I joined this forum with the hope of finding solution to my seemingly unfixable S4 GT-i9500. I initially had a stock lollipop 5.0.1 China version flashed on it using odin because I was not patient for my region's to be released. Eventually when my region's version was released I tried flashing it using odin and my phone got bricked. I've tried almost all methods posted online in order to solve the problem but I'm yet to make a head way. Whenever I'm flashing the firmware it will get stuck at "system.img" then fail. I've tried doing it several times even with different firmwares but the same problem persists. I've tried connecting to kies (different versions) to complete the upgrade but it wouldn't connect.
Whenever I take it to download mode this is what shows on my screen
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME - GT-I9500CHN
CURRENT BINARY- Samsung official
SYSTEM STATUS- Custom
Secure download- Enabled
KNOX WARRANTY VOID- 1
AP SWREV- A3

May God bless you in multiple folds @Joku1981, you just brought my phone back to life after like 3 months of agony. I'm very grateful. But I have some questions;
1. how did you know the exact firmware I needed?
2. Can't I flash my region firmware into my phone?
3. I have friends that are in the same position as myself, how can I help them?
I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks a bunch sir:good::good::good::good:

Thanks for your swift responses and your immeasurable help, if I can hook you up I will buy you a drink, you don't know how happy you made me. I still have some questions though. I initially downloaded a china version 5.0.1 (I9500ZCUIOH2_I9500CHNIOH2_CHN) which I flashed several times after my region's failed but it didn't work while the one you posted (I9500ZCUJOH2_I9500CHNJOH2_CHN) worked. What is the difference between the 2 firmwares? Also if I want to flash my region's how can I go about it? Because most of the functionality of the phone is Chinese so I can't utilize it's function 100%.
Please indulge my inquisitiveness. Thanks.

I've installed the apps there is nothing under "available CSC codes". Does that mean I can't flash other firmware aside the current one? If I can how will I go about it?
Also since the return of my phone from the land of the dead the google play store have not worked. It's keep crashing and whenever I open it always shows "check your connection and try again". I've tried phone data and wifi, clear cache, force stop, uninstall and re-installed it but its still the same story. Please what do you suggest? Thanks for your immeasurable help. :good:

Take a look: HERE.
I've got a bigger problem Joku!
Aside the fact that Google Play service still won't work on my phone another problem had ensued. It started with frequent crashing of few applications on my phone and now graduated to frequent restarting and restarting. Whenever it restarts the battery will go from whatever percentage it was to 0%. I tried factory reset, cleared cache, uninstall updates, disable auto sync among other things but the situation keeps getting worse. Now the phone barely stays on, it is always rebooting/restarting and it is becoming almost useless. Please your help is urgently needed.

I've done that as instructed but there is neither a pre-installed google play services nor a google play store on my phone. I went online to try and download some google play services apk files but I keep getting the error message 'there is a problem parsing the package' which I'm sure it's because it is incompatible with my phone because I already allowed 'install from unknown sources'. please can you give me an apk link that will surely be compatible with my phone? Thanks.

Odin flash failure on SM-G950W soft-bricked S8

I originally posted this under the wrong thread so apologies for the duplication. It was pointed out to me that my original post was in the wrong spot.
I'm super new to all of this but have spent the last two days trying to educate myself on how to use Odin after my S8 soft-bricked on me two days ago. I'm running into an issue with Odin's flashing not working for some reason and I can't seem to find any trouble shooting guides that solve the problem and I'm wondering if I maybe have set it up incorrectly somehow.
I'm running an SM-G950W through a Telus carrier in Canada and pulled the firmware through Samfirm since Sammobile is down currently. I've got the phone in download mode and the appropriate files in the appropriate slots in Odin. I'm looking to flash it without losing the data for the time being, if I can, just so I can back it up since apparently my cloud service backup failed and I have some relatively important images on there (ie. my mother's funeral) that I'd like to not lose if I can help it. Once I've pulled those, I plan to do a factory reset and failing that, plan to return the phone to my provider.
Odin sets up the files ok, recognizes the phone, and allows me to start but then it just doesn't actually seem to work. It doesn't throw any error codes or anything it just gives me the following:
<ID:0/004> Odin engine v(ID:3.1203)..
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I've updated the Samsung USB drivers, I've tried multiple ports. I've cycled the phone. I installed and then shut down Kies (I had read suggestions on installing it to establish a connection with the device and the computer and then disabling it so it didn't conflict with Odin). I'm running Odin 3.12.3. I'm figuring I'll need to go back to an earlier firmware edition, once the sammobile servers are back up, maybe? Or is there some other suggestion I might try to figure this out.
I'll add I've not rooted or anything before. I hadn't done any sort of customization to my phone to trigger this. It started with random rebooting. Then multiple apps and functions started throwing errors repeatedly without break (made it impossible to type or use anything because it was so constant). The main one was cloud storage stopping working. Once I tracked that down and cleared the cache, it shifted to rebooting nonstop until it just stuck on the Samsung screen. Now that's the only screen it'll do unless I put it in recovery or download mode. I got it into safe mode once but it still rebooted itself which is what makes me think it's more than just an app issue or anything third party and will require a factory reset once I've retrieved the data I want to back up.
I appreciate any suggestions or help that can be provided.
I've now also tried the download mode cycle boot while starting Odin flash trick. While it didn't make Odin succeed, it did generate a slightly different Odin output:
<ID:0/005> Odin engine v(ID:3.1203)..
<ID:0/005> File analysis..
<ID:0/005> skip file list for home binary
<ID:0/005> apdp.mbn
<ID:0/005> msadp.mbn
<ID:0/005> persist.img.ext4
<ID:0/005> userdata.img.ext4
<ID:0/005> Home Binary Download
<ID:0/005> SetupConnection..
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Still no luck successfully flashing though.
I had a problem with my s8 when I flashed 950u to my 950w Odin was showing fail so I did some YouTube video search and found a modified Odin that helped.

I think that the problem is your computer, maybe you should try with a different one.
Perhaps you could also try using third party applications that might help easily retrieve all the data from your device.

Good luck.
Thanks @hemp_invader. I did try a new computer and the flash passed but my phone saw no change. I saw some of those programs and wasn't sure if they were... trustworthy?

You're welcome. If there was no change on your phone, perhaps you already have the firmware you are trying to install. Are you on AQL5? If not, review the steps performed, maybe you missed something.
I have always been using their products to recover lost data, and never had one single problem.
I forgot about MobilEdit, which is more popular, you might want to check the forensics version for better results.

I'm on AQK7 which matches what's listed in recovery mode and the most recent firmware I could find.
I tried Android 7 data recovery but it couldn't find my phone. Dr. Fone sees my phone but the data extraction option only supports up to S6/S6 Edge, not S8. I downloaded the mobiledit forensic version but it requires being able to approve a code on the screen to gain access which I can't do since I can only enter Recovery and Download mode.

I've got mobiledit forensic express seeing the phone but it only sees it for a split second before the program loses the connection even though the phone screen remains on the load screen. I was able to hit next one time to see that it'll let me download the full data content of the phone but the connection isn't staying which is limiting me. I'm not sure how to trouble shoot that.
[Edit]: I waited it out and the connection finally stuck, I ran the full content extraction, and while it found 1 SIM card SMS and several of my contacts, it says it was unable to access my images, audio, video folders. Even using the file manager to browse the folders showed no results. It is suggesting rooting the phone but I'm not confident that won't void my contract/coverage so I'm guessing that my phone wiped my data already in its constant bootloop and this might be a lost cause. I'll run the extraction a couple more times but it's not looking hopeful.

Rooting your phone will not void your warranty. You can flash a stock os at any time and nothing is changed. Knox is never incremented to 0x1 as 0x1 is impossible on the g950w. The whole "root trips Knox" thing is a myth and imo needs to be eradicated from our collective memory.
You could try flashing a factory test firmware first, worked for me but I have 950F.
G950U,W COMBINATION FA70 G950USQU1AQDB FACTORY MULTI CERT
G950U,W COMBINATION FA70 G950USQU1AQG3 FACTORY MULTI CERT
G950U,W COMBINATION FA70 G950USQU1AQI3 FACTORY MULTI CERT
G950U,W COMBINATION FA70 G950USQU1AQK1 FACTORY MULTI CERT
G950U,W COMBINATION FA70 G950USQU2AQK2 FACTORY MULTI CERT
Then after that flash every newer firmware in order of release (just in case).
Also make sure you have latest Odin (3.12.7) and don't tick any extra boxes like re-partition etc. Use correct files (BL,AP,CP,HOME_CSC)
Did you turn ON OEM Unlock in developer before you began? Also if you can get back into the phone get your data - flashing stock WILL lose your data. Your other choice is to use ADB to copy out the files. You could also put a MicroSD card in and then use Odin to flash the latest TWRP - hold down [Vol Up] + [Bixby] +[Power] as you press [Start] in Odin to make sure you get to TWRP.
Once you're in TWRP use File Manage (in Advanced) to find the pics and copy them over to the MicroSD.
Then you can continue with the Root/Build process

FRP locked tab a, need some "special" help

So, i recently (like a month or so ago) bought a tab a (from Ger, since i live here) and directly rooted it.
Now since i have some rooting exp from rooting my samsung s4 and my xperia play (who remembers that phone lol) and i didnt find anything new during my (rather short) research, i directly got odin, got twrp and just went right ahead. I did NOT read about the fact that there is a FRP lock and that i have to do the OEM unlock thing in the dev options. This went well a few weeks until i started my tab a yesterday and got the FRP msg on boot. I did some more research, banged my head against a wall for not reading enough beforehand and got a (to my knowledge) stock firmware with recovery ( T580ZCU2AQH2_T580CHN2AQH2_CHN )
and tried to flash that over Odin. It didnt work and i get this

actually yes, i did this a few months ago already, but iirc i flashed a stock rom from the web (just google it theyre not hard to find), without any rooting shenanigans and disabled the lock and then went through the whole process again
you might need to boot into the rom a few times to make it install the stock recovery tho
FRP lock should not prevent you from flashing a stock ROM via Odin. But you have to flash the correct Android 6 ROM. Go to Sammobile and enter SM-580 and then chose your region. Then download the ROM ending in PL4. When it boots, it will ask for your Google login and password. It is only if you don't know those that the FRP becomes a problem. If you can't flash the PL4 ROM, your problem is NOT the FRP lock, even if Odin says it is. Also, once you get Android 6 to boot, your tablet will automatically update to the latest version from Samsung so long as you don't try to root or install TWRP before it has a chance to update.
edit: BTW, when flash the PL4 ROM, flash only the AP and BL modules.
Yeah i did some research following all that up and noticed i had the wrong ROM because some sites on the internet are very non descriptive, but like i said above i got it working shortly after and i now have a linageOS rom with a more recent android version, all working, thank you anyways for responding how to properly resolve this ^^

Hallo @ all. I hope your can help me with a Problem.
I bought last week from Amzon a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite P610.
I do not can Setup this Tablet why the WiFi Switch turn off by selfe. It is so fast that I am not able to put in the WiFi password. So I set up the Tablet with cable connection between the Tab and my Galaxy note 10 +. Only my accounts are not copied why for that it needed WiFi.
I searched for this Problem on Google and it seems a lot of People has this Problem after the Update to Android 11 but nowhere is a Way to solve this Bug. Also Bluetooth crashes with the Message App will be end.
So I thought it is a Problem with the OTA and when not all People has the Problem than I will flash the Rom new through Odin.
So I loaded Frija (SamFirm are not able to download a Rom). I typed in SM-P610 and csc is DBT.
It loaded the Rom.
In the zip are no CP File but I never flashed a Tab so maybe it is ok.
I restarted the Tab in the download Mode.
In Odin I set up BL, AP, and in CSC I set CSS Tar not Home CSC.
Than I started the Flash Process.
Odin still Flash and hung on download File (system.img).
On the Tab comes the Message:
FRP Lock
FRP Lock Pit File ignored Download.
On the Tab are no changes. I can still reboot in system. So I google and thought ok I reset the Tab. So I did it and repeated the Prozedure but the same Problem, FRP block the flash of the Firmware. Samsung can not help. The customer service only says do a reset. The Android 12 Update comes in May 22. But without Internet the Tab is useless.
Anybody maybe has a Idea?
I do not has make changes. I do not turn on USB debugging, do not activate OEM Unlock and do not activated the Developer Option.

There is no CP because it is a tablet and not a phone. The CP is for the phone modem. You must enable Dev Options and OEM unlock to flash anything. Even stock. But before I'd try flashing a new ROM, I'd factory reset the tablet via recovery to see if that would fix the wifi and bluetooth problems.
Ok. I have solved the Problem. My Odin Version was to old. I User Odin 3.7.x
But to new flash the Rom solved not the Problem. Wifi still turns off by selfe. I send the Tqb back to Amazon. Friday I get a new one not from Amazon Warehous. Still lower Space, the 64 GB Variant. I hope it has still Android 10. When it has Android 10 and WiFi works, I do not update for the Moment.
