[Q] A few noob questions

Hello everyone
Finally rooted my LG L700 last night, with the v20a rom. It said it was a European rom.
I've seen many roms around and I have a US phone. Are there rooted roms specifically for the US L7 or does it not matter?
I couldn't find any US roms on the lg l7 firmware list.
Also which is currently the best rom to have at the moment?

Just flash cm10 and thats all (cm10 official - also the best rom currently)

CM10 is the best.But on my phone (p705) deep sleep not working.

Can I just install CM10 onto my already rooted (v20a) phone?
Or do I need to go back to stock firmware again, and THEN install CM!0?

Well I just installed CM10 for the first time and HOLY ****ING ****
THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE!!! my phone is soooooo much faster and ridiculously clean looking. its like that "new phone feeling" all over again
Just came across a problem, I'm not getting any service.
Edit: Nevermind I fixed the no service issue, just needed to reinstall the baseband.

pac-man question
hi guys so i'm on cm10 and about to switch to pac-man. do i have to reset and format system when flashing pacman because i heard that pacman has a part of cm10 in it.

[Q] hey guys new to this phone lg L5 E612 need a little help?

ok so im not new to rooting or anything as my last phone was an ace (heaps of cool stuff for that phone)
i have my phone rooted now LG L5 E612 and have supeeruser installed last time i was here i seen that there was people saying no custom roms for this phone as bootloader is locked, now i return and i see a few for this phone just wondering how to install a rom and which one is the best one to use also ones that are eye candy or totally change the GUI

this rom is best in my view with no lags
hey i am using this cm 10.1 (4.2.2)rom since 1 year.its best in my view.it can be overclocked to 1Ghz.and ram can be increased by using ram expander.

you need to unlock the bootloader and get a custom recovery, then you can easily install a custom rom
i am on cm11 beta 7.1, oc up to 1100mhz:laugh:

ok so i tried several ways got cwm installed but phone keeps resetting

also didnt back up my bootloader either.....................just tryed the e610 bootunlocker not resetting on me working ok now, now to find a tutorial to flash a rom
got it running the e610 cm10 working ok no reboots ect seems to be working ok now

Is there a STOCK ROM for these LG L7 p705 phones higher than 4.1.2 jelly beans?

I managed to flash CWM, and to root the original very slow Lg L7 P705 with the original 4.0.1. ROM.
I have found some ROMs here in forum...
tried> [ROM][P700/P705][KITKAT 4.4.4][KTU84Q]UNOFFICIAL CM11 by IMER >> many issues with it...probably mismatched baseband and gapps....

this time I forgot to clean cache and partition.. and managed to soft brick the phone..... flashing software..CWM could not "see" the phone... NIGHTMARE.. it was constantly looping or did not turn on /or did not turn off??!!!! I could not even get it to emergency mode
I have spent 1 day searching for something to flash that phone now set in emergency mode>>> I finally found.. somewhere...
p705g209 STOCK ROM / build JZ054K jelly bean 4.1.2 with baseband MSM 7227A-1-AA and was lucky that it was the right North American build with the right baseband...
OK.. enough of my story>>>> ANY OTHER GOOD WORKING ROM BUILD FOR THIS OLD THING HERE.. PLEASE... or as my gut tells me: "keep these "jelly beans" on this phone"... as it is very hard to find any other ROM for this phone, which would work for Rogers/North America baseband and this model!!!!???
THANKS..... I have spent so many hours trying to make this phone work faster , BUT ended up only having "jelly beans" instead of the "ice cream sandwich".... oh boy.... this a time consuming hobby> " playing with phones"

LG L5 E610 GPS not working - CM11

Hi. I've got this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2519448
But GPS is crazy, it barely have a signal. I would install another ROM but i can't wipe my data/cache (they have to stay as they are)
Any help from you guys?

Lg g2 F320 random reboots lambda kernel

Hello devs i need some help sorry for my bad english
I'm facing random reboots and freezing on some apps on my lg g2 F320 rom aosp extended 4.6 and lambda kernel n13
The phone restarts randomly whole day no specific reason or pattern and when ever i open facebook then phone got freeze that i need to pull battery out
faced same issue on my g2 d800 different roms and lambda kernel random reboots and facebook app freeze and restart

I had the same problem with my LG G2 f320, but it had been improving. Try for the latest Nougat Rom like LOS 14.1
I can't find any issues so far with the latest Rom.

Tried many roms same problem i also tried lamba on my d800 my d800 also face same issue.. Can you tell me complete things like which bootstack you are using lamba version and rom link.. Thanks in advance

Well, I'm using the latest Lamda Kernel N13. For other aspects, I followed the guide about installing any d802 Rom to f320l. You can find the thread in this forum.
However, I installed Lineage OS 14.1 d802 Rom to my f320l.
