I've always liked AOSP based roms, but now with the S4 I'm inclined to stay with Touchwiz because of the superb camera app: the quality of the pictures is high and I like features like eraser. Are there alternatives that can match this app? I'm willing to pay for it, but I like to choose well instead of spending the money on an app that doesn't deliver. Would like to hear your experiences!

Yeah. I use the LG camera app which is almost as good, on an AOSP Rom. I can't attach it from tapatalk .....

Just about any of the compatible cameras can be an alternative to the Touchwiz
camera if for some strange reason you want to downgrade your camera. LOL

Thank you. I get fc on my present tw rom, but still try again when I switch to a new rom later this week (awaiting the next Slimkat beta).

I am liking this LG camera but it isn't readily apparent where you can specify save location. Plus the images in gallery are a bunch of blurred lines even though they appear normal in preview inside camera app.

We have this amazing phone, it can do everything but I know I don't use the phone to its fullest potential. All I did with my phone was flash a custom rom, customize the look, play games and web browse. I know there's so many other things this phone can do, for example have your computer connected to your device. So you can edit your playlist and it will do it automatically on your phone. So I just want to hear cool things you guys do with your phone and maybe we can help each other out.
Well I use mighty text to send messages and make calls from my PC through my phone! If you haven't tried it yet.. you're really missing something! And I use Air droid to do most of the other stuff between my phone and PC!
Have you ever tried Bluestacks? You can download that to your PC and use all your app's on your PC! I use what's app mute on my computer than my phone!

Sorry to disappoint you but this phone doesn't do much more than other phone. It just do it faster and better. But it all depends on the apps. I have yet to see an app ONLY for the i9300.

Mine are all working flawlessly...and of course looking better than they did with my previous phone...try uninstalling than reinstalling the app
Also would help to know a little more info than they just arent showing up right...is color off, is the picture pixelated...etc

Guys check out this other thread with CasseTrop has linked a thread on theverge forums where I explain the issue with photos looking over-sharpened and pixelated and also provide a workaround.

I'm not sure about this, but I don't know if that's possible as the app probably relies on some components of Sense. Just like how we can't get the Touchwiz unique features onto our AOSP roms.

I have looked into getting zoe unfortunately it is built into the sense framework I have ectracted the apk and even changed my build.prop to the htc one but without sense the app will not open. Sorry

we wont know until someone gets there hands on the Google Edition HTC One and extracts the camera apk ... so I would check back around the 10th/11th of July. If i ran across it I will reply again.
