Upgrding Help

So I have decided to upgrade to a new phone but i have a budget of around 300 USD
I was thinking of either the:
Xperia Arc
Optimus 2X
Nexus S
I really like the design of the Xperia Arc but the O2X has much better hardware and the Nexus S has better software support, although the Xperia line up has free Xperia team working on ROMS
If you have any other phone to suggest feel free

Quick question

My mom wants a new phone for Xmas and we're from Canada she wants one off of bell and she liked the xperia t and it's camera is it a good phone? Bell didn't offer the nexus 4 :/

Moto G vs any other phone

Hey guys,
The point of this thread is to try and keep the forum clean. Post here any comparisons with any other phone u have or would like to discuss...
I haven't received !y !oto g yet but as soon as I get it I will compare it against the nexus 4 and atrix HD.
What do u guys think... How does it compare to those two phones?

Dunno if changing from a Nexus 4 can really be considered a real update... There are lots of comparisons on YouTube, setting them more or less on par.
My verdict: if you need a new phone (and your current phone is older than one year) for < 350 Bucks get a Moto G...
Otherwise get a Nexus 5...
If you want to spend money on a status symbol: get an IPhone or a Sony Xperia Z1

I know I'm not updating just more of a side step ... But I like supporting manufacturers that offer the best bang for the buck and I needed the extra $$$, so I decided to go g

Except the rear camera, Moto G is better than XL in everything(Correct me if I'm wrong).

You should buy : Note 3 Snapdragon, Nexus 5, HTC one, HTC one Max, HTC Butterfly S, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra, LG G2, Note 10.1 2014, LG G Flex and maybe an iPhone.

If Knox is whats wrong with the Note 3 then unfortunately you will need to dump anything Samsung....

I just want to buy another good smartphone. Unfortunately I get tired of this phone. I just want CM or Vanilla android. Idk which of these to buy!

You've pretty much just answered your own question. If you want Vanilla Android get a Nexus.

+1 Grab the Nexus 5. I myself prefer that AOSP look over anything else.

My next device will be a sony. They are so good with development on Android. I would get a nexus after my note but going down in screen size isn't gonna happen.
I should have gotten that ultra haha. I don't use my camera for flash anyways

But I worked with G2 , such a comfortable phone. Nexus camera is poor! But the design is perfect. Z Ultra is the biggest and lovely. But I have xperia sola and t and SP , they have poor quality on screen and camera. I really dont know
Btw the cm is for all phones right now exept my f**cking Note 3 exynos
