To activate this service
First Go here
http://samsungdive.com
and register your account(free) - skip this if you have already samsung account.
- On device add samsung account.
- then from device , setting -seciruty- Find My mobile
1.Remote control - enter credential and enable it.
2.check SIM card change alert
3.click on alert msg recipient - Now login with credential, you have register on above mentioned samsung site. - and add recipient mobile number (your other number / family number) on which you will get notification, if SIM will changed.
Now when you visit samsungdive.com and login, you will see your register device there, (see Image above)
Click on your device.
You will see this
Now you can track your mobile. It have all function which available with many costly applications on market like
-tracking on map (to check location)
-Ring mobile (to find device in nearby location)
-Forward msgs
-call logs
-wipe out device etc
This is not just useful when you lost device, but many times i found it useful
-If you forget lock screen password
-If you want to erase data remotely (say your screen is not working)
-You forget device at home/office and want to know call logs OR want to forward Call/SMS

Samsung dive is useful. But if your serious about security. Than there is no better than cerberus. It has some awesome features. Like record video or audio when you have lost your phone. From memory you get a 7 or 14 day trial. Worth doing to view the features.
I have tasker put a pin code on when I exit home or work wifi. When pin code is entered incorrectly cerberus takes photo and emails.

yes cerberus is feature rich and i am also having it. But this is for ppl who can't use google play to purchase.
Another benifit of using samsung service
-You can unlock screen locked with password
-Call/SMS forward
Major drawback of samsung service
It won't be helpful if data is wiped, in case of cerberus, if you have pushed cerberus to System ROM, it still remain protected from wiping

looks nice.. but will this murder you battery like some of the other location based services? I noticed most of my partial wakelocks were caused by Maps or related location services.

I don't have observed any ill effect on battery as this is on demand service, activate location service only when you track device.

I am not able to activate remote control in settings. .the on/off button is off and greyed out..I already have samsung account and is added..also ticked the google location service..

AFAIK it is available for selected countries, if your country is not supported you will find msg while logging in to web page.

Unfortunately It doesn't seem to work on Paranoid rom.
No remote control options in the settings then
I guess it is a part of touchwiz. Can anyone confirm?

Does anyone tried what happens after wiping phone from samsung dive? will we be able to track phone after that?
I think erasing phone is the first thing to do after losing it.(even if you need to steal another phone to use it's internet connection )

Ok, I tried that out. But one question, how can I turn it off again ??? Now that tracker icon comes up in the status bar. There is no disabling of that feature that I can see. Or what is it ?

You'd have better luck posting in the Moon ROM forum or PM'ing the dev.

Doc, I'm using your rom v6.1
does this function work in 6.1? i mod it to 240dpi. (i have not try revert back to 320dpi to test it out)
hope someone can help to test this out on doc v6.1 rom and share me the information thanks a lot
cause mine can't sent information to the webpage. it always failed.
it managed to connect but can't sent information to the page and it will shut itself off after any request
it used to work when i'm on stock rom

You may need to clear and rebuild a-gps data in order for fix to work.
Instructions for the AT&T Note 3.

Could this be reversed? Seems to drain battery unless I leave the GPS on. This is not what I usually have on WLD. It's always 3 or 4%. [emoji15] lol

I have not found a way to reverse it. I'm just happy to get gps back.

I started getting GPS issues after 4.4.4. It would take forever to get a location set by GPS...and keeps getting disrupted during navigation. Just tried this fix and now it has gotten better. Well it seems to get a gps lock in about 6 seconds, can't wait to try out Navigation tomorrow!
update: This method improved it but not as good as before the update.

I tried this twice and my gps still sucks

10 feet accuracy is awesome. Considering how wide roads are, you won't have any issues

I've tried this several times and can't get it to work,,I can get to the first step service screen just fine, but can't get to the next service menu screen at all

Awesome. I guess I'm just lucky. I see a lot of AT&T Note 3 users complaining about the issue. But I've never had a issue.

That's how they should be I think. My phone was fine too when stock. It's safestrap that made a number of things weird

GPS hasn't worked for me ever since I can remember. I tried the hardware fix to bend the pins upup and still not finding ANY satellites. Any suggestions?

I've only tested this on Att stock. It may not be working because your on a custom rom based on another firmware or they removed those services. I can't really help. I've moved on to the Note 4.

What do u mean they don't work? Try to reboot your phone and give it another go, worst comes to worst go to recovery and do a factory reset and try again. If not I'd think about returning it as faulty.

thanks for the reply i meant the test on my ambient light sensor score fail. i notice it when i put it on auto brightness...brightness on my phone does not change at all..i did a factory reset and still the same...can you give procedure to do a hard reset? what shall i do? tnx..only those 2 fail on my results the ambient light sensor and the g sensor,,,g means gyroscope?

Both g-sensor and light sensor fail for me too. Wouldn't worry about it too much.

Download CPU Z app and it'll show what sensors u have

hello, i got 550ml and light sensor in SIMMI test work if you use a torch or something to the capteur it will change light and Pass the test , Anyway , in auto brightness , the light don't change even if i use a torch .
So its probably a bug , and my gsensor fail too , but no need and its normal i think,.
I send a mail to asus supp about the lighsensor , you can do the same if you want them to fix it since its proably software .

hi , in fact G sensor work too , you have to turn the phone in every direction (horizontal,vertical) and it will PASS.
there is no sub menu on sim test , it just say PASS when you have a sim in it .

Edit : Autobrightness started to work now for me , dunno how or when , but now if i apply a torch near the sensor it go full brightness . Everything is fine so .

Dude actually in asus you have two applications from which you can test the hidden menu of the mobile through secret codes
one is the phone dialer and other one is the calculator app

There is talk that the official Samsung patch actually has code from somebody else.

I have a problem after installing this apk. I do not know if this is apk related incident that is y i am sharing this to be able to found a solution to my problem. Story: i bought a galaxy s6 in rome italy, it says in the brochure that the regional lock will be open if you call at least 5mins in region where you bought the phone. Then after a month and after i consumed the said requirement i travel to the philippines. I was able to use the local philippine sim for almost a month now until i encounter the missing toggle, i install your apk to restore the notification toggle. After few days my phone ran out of battery and when i open it again it says that the sim is invalid and is asking me for the network pin to unlock. Thus, any idea? Need help and professional advice.

Not sure if this helps, but I am using LVY48E with a T-Mobile sim. No issues yet.

i'm on the E build right now. I have the same issues as I had with the previous Fi build, bad LTE connectivity.

Pretty sure all this update did was fix the Stagefright vulnerability

For you who are now on 48E--please test the dial codes for me. Dial code info in this thread.
I'm seeing that, since updating to 48E, those dial codes no longer work. You should see a dialog box indicating action of the dial code. For example, *#*#346398#*#* (FINEXT), should switch you to the next carrier. I'm curious if everyone else is seeing the same issue.

The codes switch carriers for me on stock LVY48E.

Background: My phone was purchased from Amazon (unlocked), billed as carrier agnostic. The Fi SIM is the only SIM I ever used in the phone. Interestingly, before I rooted and inserted the SIM the first time, the phone OTA'd itself to 48C. After I inserted the Fi SIM, the PFi app appeared (because it is part of the 48C build).
I then received the 48I OTA notice the day it was released. As everyone knows, the PFi app is not included in the 48I build. That was fine because I have the PFi update from Playstore.
After I flashed to 48E, I noticed that the dial codes were no longer functioning. I looked at Playstore and there was an update. As soon as I updated, the dial codes function returned.
I think that because 48E includes the PFi app in the ROM, it overwrote the update in the /data partition. All I needed to do was to update the app. All is good now....

Guys could somebody run the app to check and see if the patch is fully fixed? I just tested and got this!!!!
