I mean we´re in the development & hacking section and there are only a few members who can write some simple c# code or post other useful stuff...
BTW how to enable the "never" option for the lockscreen ? Is it the same regkey as for WP7 devices ?

Doesn´t work for me...
The key is set to "0" and the "never option" isn´t available. A restart doesn´t help either.
Found in Lumia 1020 registry but i can not try because not Interop Unlock.

Indeed WPHTweaks0.8 can write the key.
I would say that´s because the app uses the native registry library from GDTD to write the key while SamWP8Tools uses RPCComponent...

SamWP8 has LocalSystem privileges while WPH don't. But WPH should work after latest GDR3 update.

Actually, WPH Tweaks tries to use native registry, but if that fails then it tries to use the Samsung RPC Component so it should work anyway.

big problem!
flashed gdr2 rom with your custom-rom from post 1
changed the 3 xml-files before ota-update to gdr3 final with latest firmware and now gdr3 preview after final.
tested interop-unlock, everything works fine...
now i make a "full wipe or reset" and now the "interop unlock" is missing.
"application deployment" tells me now my device have a "developer lock"???!!!
is this possible that with this custom-rom, interop-unlock works not on gdr3 after a "full wipe or reset"???

you removed some required packages, or made a change which cause it to not being included.
have you been playing with "Shell" package under SYS?
there is an app responsible for installing cab. it's called "wceload"
search for it on pda, if it exists there. check classes in registry too, if cab files are being opened by it.

The Toolkit attached to this post.
1. Install WP7 sdk Windows Phone Developer Tools;
2. Install zune;
3. Make partneship with zune and phone;
4. Just write this url "http://cr-developers.co.cc/cwp7.cer" in your phone internet browser and install it;
5. Connect your phone to pc and make sure zune is running in background;
6. Run the unlocker (ChevronWP7.exe) and click unlock button(Make sure your phone date is set correctly)
(you need to close skype and disable network adapter.. hamachi.. wireless.. Dropbox.. etc)
7. Install toms .xap installer;
8. Deploy Connection Setup.xap, Touch Xplorer.xap and XBMODDeployer.xap (Install it on the phone and run XBMODDeployer.xap);
9. Copy the .provxml from the ringtons folder to the windows folder (on the phone using touch explorer app);
10. Run connection setup to install the .provxml;
11. Call Microsoft helpdesk and ask them an activating key for your hd2 (don't pm me for the key)
12. Setup up your live ID and enter the activation code (on the phone).

You need to do the unlock/reg hack to make it think its a HD7 else it will never download anything from market place.
If wifi isn't working on the HD2, remove the sd card and try another (some sd cards F*** up the wifi).

ask for the activation code (they well ask for your live email) they will gif you it instantly ad MS help desk .

you have to call them I think .
MS helpdesk , and ask for the activation code .
I called them to activate a real wp7 phone (hd7 o2 de) and it worked to .

I drop this on the first post to.
This app is an instruction to Interop unlock your Samsung WP8 phone. Of course, it must have DevUnlock already.
This method doesn't work on GDR3 (8.0.10512.xxx) and later FW! Registry editor was removed from Diagnosis.
Use MBN Creator to unlock recent versions.
Or special W10M version if you have W10M.

I have just bought a Samsung Ativ S having used Nokia Lumia's for my last two phones - only thing I was really missing since I bought the Ativ was the Nokia apps, but if there's a chance to sideload them that could make the Ativ S really awesome!!!

There is a "Diagnosis App", but there is not a ##MFG# code. You have to use #DATA# or other code to install it. Then within the Cronus_0711 App, ##MFG# still does not work. Some of the menus do and can be unlocked with the MSL. There is a ##DEBUG# menu that requires a "service code" to access and does not unlock with the PRL.
Your toast pops up, but it does not bring up the Diagnosis app when you click the toast.
Any ideas on how to do this on the Ativ S Neo?

You don't need unlock to do this. Read the PROXY thread there.

It shipped with gdr2 pre-installed. Didn't sell with gdr1.

Paul: Please install my webserver app (link is in my sig) and install and run it while your phone is on WiFi. Browse (on your PC) to http://192.168.0.15:9999/Filesystem?path=\Windows\System32 (replace the IP address with whatever your phone's IP is). Look for a file called "WP8Diag.xap" or anything like that. Download the XAP and post it here. Thanks!
Hey WOLF, nice job editing the native toast launcher app to include a full tutorial. Looks really slick!
Only (minor) caveats: the 10003 value is arbitrary, just something I tried. "Traditionally" we've used 2147483647 (0x7FFFFFFF) but any value of at least 300 should work. Also, at least on my phone, it reports "Failed!" when you try to write (but the write wroks anyhow). You may want to mention that in your instructions (I see you do recommend hitting Read to double-check). Or maybe my phone is just being weird.
By the way, for those who have been asking, here is the WP8Diag.xap file right off System32 in my phone.

1) Go to the forum page on which this thread is located.
2) Hit Ctrl+F.
3) Type "proxy" without the quotes.
4) Click on the highlighted link.
5) Read the resulting page and follow its instructions.
