Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Rom Dump

Hi all,
I have in my hands a sample of the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 .
If some of you whant to get your hands on the rom, I will do a rom dump and upload it here.
The only problem is I don't know how to do it, so I need some help with this.
Hope this can help. If not needed just say so.

nice, how did you get your hands on one of those bad boys? anyword on expect release date instead of just "end of 2008?" And is it the black model that we see in the original ad or are they really going to change the color to that metallic color that looks so cheap that's seen in some recent photos?

I work in the cellphones market and since I work in the technical department I recived a sample to test our gadgets, like battery, hearphones, chargers......
The one I have is metallic. I agree Black is better but it doesn't look bad, I'll try to upload some images.

sounds good. i wonder if they decided to switch from black to metallic when they found out that the diamond or pro was coming out all black and wanted to diffrenciate earlier in the design process.

Like I said this is just a sample, maybe they will change it again.

[HOW TO] Nexus One Stylus

Requirments
1. A pen
2. Tape
3. Turkey Slice
Steps:
1. tape turkey to top of pen
2. Use your turkey pen
it works ahaha
its not only for the nexus one lol it works on any capacitive touch screen

It will work with any kind of meat/flesh.

Pictures coming up in a bit when i try this out...

Good thing I have an extra finger, I was able to cut it off and use it on the end of a pencil. YMMV.

I've tried a slimjim and it didn't work. Lunchmeat does work (i used it still in the package), fruit seemed to work pretty well, those korean sausages that made tech blog rounds a few weeks back work. Basically any food not too dry or far removed from it's original form seems to work. But, i'd rather use my finger...
What I really want is a portable tablet with mildly pressure sensitive wacom-like screen for a digital sketchbook. Maybe the Courier...

for drawing and writing and stuff like that

I remember one of my friends had a smartphone with a stylus, so another friend asked him to see his phone and pulled out the stylus and the owner goes "I never knew I had a stylus" lol it was there the whole time

[Request] Custom OEM Hero Housings

You know, I was just thinking... it would be REALLY nice if there was a place that sold custom housings for our Heroes...
Like I go to Mississippi State University and would LOVE to have a Mississippi State custom Hero housing. NOT A CASE! I'm talking about instead of having the default grey housing... unscrew it and replace it with a custom one.
I think cases are too bulky and ruin the Heroes beauty. I wonder is it possible?
It would also be nice to add different color track balls too.
It doesn't look too bad to disassemble...

Zagg makes skins for it. I just ordered 1 and I got a 50% off coupon for signing up to win an iPad. I already use the zagg shield on the body to protect it from my pocket.

I would really like to be able to spring $100 or so and buy a housing made out of metal similar to the Legend. THAT would be awesome.

You're right... I think this is as close as there is to it.

Hmm, would there be a way to take the guts of the CDMA and place them into the GSM Hero? I love the style of the GSM way more. And the buttons look better. If not, maybe into the Eirs?

I guess its a matter if opinion... personally I think the white stitching gives it a classy look like the official malaya cases did for the gTab. Either way, that's the nice thing about being able to have some options, at least hopefully SOON there will be more options (not caring for this 'sleeve too much)

best alternative to open .psd files that i have used is irfan view[http://www.irfanview.com/] its small and its fast

Just use photoshop or irfan view or similar software to take out printouts.....dont print from browser etc u might not get the required size
