Pure stock too. I worked fine until i wanted to use camera on lockscreen
No problem here. I am running N5 port.

Pure stock here, working fine
No issues as such. On stock ROM.
is camera better on 4.4.1 ? i mean opening speed, focus etc
Are you on TWRP or on CWM? Did you do a clean flash?

This is because of a modded rom or kernel. I had this with early custom GB kernels. Flashing the stock kernel or a custom kernel that has a working front cam (should be mentioned in the features) should fix this.

it happened to me to..i had this problem too,please go to darkys website and find out the stock camera there,they have fix this prob there,no worries..

Galaxian kernel... Having it, and it works great!!!
As we all know the Camera on the N4 is really sh1tty because of the Continuous Burst mode.
It can be fixed by going into Camera -> Settings > Camera Settings > Focus > AUTO
I've flashed so many ROMs and now i can't remember which ROM has that OPTION!!!
I've tried Purity and CM11, but their Camera apps don't have advanced settings.
Please help me out on this one, i'm kinda OCD on phones so everything needs to be perfect or otherwise i'm very pissed!!!!

Yep, that's it.
All good now, after re-flashing CM the Camera app was installed again somehow (1st and 2nd flash didn't fix, 3rd did)
Can anybody help me. Im out of options. Did full wipes and formatted everything and nothing helped.
But when im on a CM11 ROM there arent any issues, so WTH is going on? Its only on Sammy Roms.

Flash a different kernel on TW rom
There are few out there , most liked is Civz kernel . It fixes this issue for me in whatsapp and other apps.

i'm sorry if i have to post a new thread cause i can't post a reply at the dev page just yet, i wonder if anyone has the same problem with mine. Aida 64 reports that video stabilization is not supported regardless of turning it off in camera settings. Is the reading just wrong and video stabilization works as it is or is it not working at the moment on note 7 ports? I also noticed a little loss of quality at lowlight. Thanks guys

I got it working but sometimes auto flash doesn't work. Reboot fixes that. Also have had one crash as well.
