I haves root and flash cm10.1 on my phone. but I have a folders called Android/obb which I want to delete. But I don't know why I cannot delete it. I have tried by deleting it in pc or es file manager, It won't help. After that I have tried to format my sdcard in recovery and reset the phone. But the folders Android/obb still presence. Plz help! how can I delete this folder?
I might be wrong but I think this folder is part of default android structure and it stores some kind of user app data. So by resetting your phone I don't think you can remove this folder as it's there by default. However try deleting the content instead if the folder can't be deleted.

Have you checked how much space is available in your settings after you formated? If you formated, you should get back all the previously occupied space.
Why do you want to delete that particular folder ?

Hi all,
I have downloaded a number of small pdf files on my I9505 (e.g. gym timetables from web browser and email attachments).
I was just wondering where these are stored so that I can delete them? Or are they automatically deleted after I close the viewing application (I doubt it).
Does anyone know where these are stored and therefore how to delete them?
Thanks
When i download a file its stored in the folder Downloads, on the internal memory.

Rescan your SDcard. Either reboot your phone, or download rescanSD app from the play store.

it did not help..
i tried Rescan SD from "sTOOPIDfiG" and "Kevinpr007"
it still not working
but, i did use the camera to capture new pictures,
the new ones i can see in the gallery, but the old ones still cant, all the picture in the same folder !!
1. Copy them (not the parent folder) to another file or off device
2. Reboot
3. Copy back to device original folder
4. Reboot

i just installed busybox from the playstore, it's done successfuly but there are some files in the storage that bugs me. it's called toolbox-stericson and busybox-stericson. can i delete or just move those files to some folder, because it makes the structure of the storage ugly. thanks.

Yes, correct. Copy your data to PC.
Then do it using advanced wipe in TWRP recovery: Wipe\Advanced Wipe - be shure to check correct partition to wipe, wipe, reboot.
Of course, you had to have TWRP recovery installed. And don't forget to make full backup in recovery.
Also you can search for big hidden files using file explorer like Root Explorer and delete them.

He does not use a custom recovery afaik -
I'v just installed from Google Play app Storage Analyser. It shows folders and files by size. So you can see location of big files and delete big files.

Look what i found:
The whole /data partition is counted for internat storage
In the root of /data there r 2.x gb and in /data/media/obb there are 6gb (some gameloft related things )
Weird...
