Your best bet is to go to ebay and amazon yourself and look. By the time we post the link and you go to it, they might have already sold it depending on the number of screens they have.
Not sure why you want us to find it for you rather than you going to eBay or Amazon yourself and doing the search?
Hope you find what you need and can get it fixed.
Im asking here because i heard nexus 7 digitizer is glued to display and is difficult to remove...
So,i want entire replacement module including lcd and digitizer together...
I found some but its always better to take experts suggestions...

So I bought a digitizer replacement kit on ebay for my N1. (I dropped it and my screen shattered.) I saw the iFixit teardown on the N1 and figured it'd be easy enough to do myself. The kit comes with tools to open it, but no adhesive to mount the new digitizer.(like the iPhone kits)
Basically I was just wondering what I should use to stick the new digitizer back in. Any advice from someone who's already done it would be great too.
Edit: Got the digitizer installed fine, phone booted, I giggled like a schoolgirl aaaand.. Couldn't unlock my phone. It wont respond to touch. Took it apart again to make sure it was connected properly... So now my only assumption is the digitizer I bought was defective.
Any help would be appreciated..
try asking the ebay seller
Thanks, I'll try that. Any other ideas?
maybe ask an electronics repair shop near you
RellikZephyr
Well I got it installed but it wont respond to touch.. Defective part?
I guess you've made sure it's plugged in right? Would definitely double check that

Yep I did. I contacted the seller on eBay and waiting for a reply. Unless you guys can think of something else I did wrong in the installation I'm sticking with it being defective.
have other people replaced the digitizer successfully on the N1? or perhaps it is some software difference that the new digitizer needs to be "read" by the software, but the OS is looking for the "old" digitizer still...i'm talking out my arse BTW..

I've seen a few people posting here saying they've done it, and I know one guy took pictures of the process. I understand what you're saying and it sounds logical enough, but I can't imagine the parts would be any different to cause that sort of problem.. Assuming the part I bought is legit.
Either way the seller should let me return it if the second one they ship out doesn't work.
i replaced my screen and digitizer yesterday using ebay tutorials i found. pm me and ill share but i bet you used the same ones. its a very delicate process. sometimes you have to be tough with it but at the same time not break the little guy. the only problem i could think of would be your connection. the only thing i fudged on minr was not cleaning the lcd before placing it back in. now i have two large fingerprints in my top right under my screen when i dim it.

I cast... THREAD NECROMANCY!!!
I believe I have the correct adhesive (3M double-sided sticky tape of some small sort), but I'm wondering if anyone has a better idea on how to get the old sticky gunk off of the LCD aside from using rubbing alcohol? Thoughts? Kthxbai.
EDIT: Also, did you ever get your phone working again?
Any one know where I can buy an HTC HD2 Motherboard, because my HD2 died, its trying to power on but only vibrates shortly (instead of long vibrate and powering on)... I assume its a motherboard problem so I decided to fix it but I can't seem to find on ebay, maybe I am searching wrong, I am searching for HD2 Motherboard...
Do you have any URL's or an online store for parts please?
It would be really helpful, or an international service that fixes/repairs smart phones would be ok too...
Thanks for now
Insisting on ebay could lead you to success, finally...
Best bet might be finding one on somewhere like eBay where the screens are broken.. just a thought

I had that thought too... And after 1 week of searching I found a seller who has a lot of parts on bid as a bundle... I will give it a try...
However my post was to try to find an online shop that sells hd2 parts and has motherboards in stock...
thanks anyway...
Please, can you give me a direct link to that seller?
Thank you

Pushing "THANKS" button would help more, don't you think?

there ya go, was after one my self, but still a bit pricy, looking out for a second had one myself, one problem with my main board is the memory card reader has come of and so have the tracers,
Is there any way to test a main board is dead without having another HD2 to try it in, any one got any methods to try and bring it back to life, like sticking it in the oven the freezer the microwave (only kidding about the microwave)
I see that a lot of people are making new topics about cracked backs or their earpiece is not working, or their back speaker is broken. In all these new topics someone asks if anyone knows where new parts can be purchased from and all the replies I see is that no one knows where to buy them from.
I posted this link in the general section under nexus 4 replacement parts but hasn't been put in the OP. This is by far the best selection of parts for our phone and other phones alike.

I had to harass these people to try and get parts for our phone lol. The glass back as some may know is almost impossible to find and can not even be purchased through LG. I'm just glad they were able to get them.

I unfortunately dropped my phone and the front glass cracked, breaking the digitizer at the same time. Due to an interesting situation I'm in, I just need the front glass to be fixed, the digitizer doesn't matter to me. So basically I just need to the phone to look perfect from the outside. I've seen the front glass only for $30, but also read about how hard it is to just replace the glass without breaking the digitizer. Though, for me, I don't care if the digitizer is broken, so is it still too difficult to be worth it? Or would it be easier since there's no worry about the condition of the digitizer?
Thanks
Bump
Why do you want it to look good if it's still broken? This smells fishy...
Anyway, your main problem is probably going to be separating the two.

The digitizer on this phone is built into the screen. I don't think you can separate it.

Digitizer and LCD are fused together.

"Due to an interesting situation I'm in, I just need the front glass to be fixed, the digitizer doesn't matter to me" Are you kidding? Are you trying to half fix it just to con someone into buying it?!

lol, kinda expected those responses. As long as the glass is fixed, im going to be able to get it exchanged via Best Buy's PEP. My friend works there and I already got the OK to do that. Yes, I know it is abuse of the system, but at store level they really don't care.
Thanks for the responses so far

Actions like this make prices higher for the rest of us so excuse me if I don't help you do that. Have you looked into whether your original purchase was covered by any damage insurance that came with your credit card? If your credit card is like mine you can use that coverage to get a new phone and that would be much better than committing fraud just because your friend gave you permission that isn't his to give.
