Don't know what is going on, but I am getting this error all day long!
com.google.process.gapps has stopped
I haven't installed any new apps.
I have tried disabling and enabling Download Manager.
And I have reseting my app preferences.
Any help with this please?
I am rooted running stock rom.

Try to reset data and factory reset. Did you flash a gapps package? This seems like the problem.

These are the steps I did.
I did a nandroid backup.
I flashed a cm rom.
Then the gapps.
Wasn't really happy with cm so I did full wipe then restored my nandroid.
And that was 2 days ago.
Then starting today I've been getting that error message all day.

Works fine for me, did you delete the flash kernel package by any chance?
Are you using mobile Odin pro or free?

I'm getting the exact same error, installed Mobile Odin Pro purchased ages ago from Play, and it just pops the message up then closes down after clicking OK.
I have even tried installing the MobileODIN_FlashKernel_I9300-v3.0.apk manually in case that was the problem.
I am on WanamLite stock odexed XXDLH4
on stock jb doesn't work.
Works without any problems on CM10. In fact I flashed a new recovery using it this morning.
No surprise it doesn't work on Samsung ROM though. Buggy piece of crap. They should just resign and appoint Codeworkx as head of ROM development... LOL...

EDIT: Just found a very strange workaround, install Mobile Odin Light as well as the pro version, open the light version and it loads Pro.
Try Pro and it now appears to be working!
Pro worked for me without any work around on jb leak too
My first ROM on my N7 is paranoid android of course. I have the build from September 9 and the latest is now available (goomanager informs me). After I down load this zip, all I have to do is flash this new file in order to be up to date?
Thanks

All you have to do is reboot into recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, flash the ROM, flash gapps, then reboot. Always wipe caches and re-flash gapps when you flash an update to a ROM.

So if I'm understanding you correctly, after I wipe the caches... reinstall the rom and then put the latest version of gapps? (Just like you did to get the rom working in the first place?)
Thanks

Yes. I don't know if you did this before you installed paranoid android, but it's a good idea to do do a full wipe/factory reset when you switch ROMs.
Once you're on a particular ROM, you only need to wipe caches before you flash the update and gapps.
Sorry if that was confusing

Hey guys I have recently rooted my Nexus 4 and left the stock rom on it. Now a few days later I am experiencing issues mainly with apps that change settings, like juicedefender or a cpu speed app.
I have done some research and according to juicedefender error log it shows I need to have busybox or I should have CyanogenMod.
Ok i hav 3 questions
1. Will installing busy box cause me to lose any data?
2. I know installing CyanogenMod ROM will clear all my data is there a way for me to backup need for speed and bad piggies?
3. Is there a way for me to keep my stock rom and fix these problems?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Since you're rooted all you need to do for backups is download Titanium Backup and use that to keep all of your data.
Alright im a noob at all this any idea if i should get cm nightly, stable or whatever version ? And if i go with release candidate can i change it to nightly in the future?

You will probably want to start with a stable release before jumping into a nightly. Nightly build aren't really known for stability.

To update cm all you need to do is download new rom, boot to recovery, flash rom and gapps, wipe cache, reboot. Of course this only applies if the rom base hasn't changed, which is infrequent.

If you are going to flash cm for the first time a wipe is required. Usually wipes aren't required when flashing a newer version of a Rom.
But will it wipe data automatically? No. Wiping data is an option you have to confirm in recovery.
Is that what you are asking?

Thanks thanks i will be flashing cm soon, thx so much yall. Sent a donation to mskip for making it so easy to do all this.

You could probably use adb to side load a ROM and gapps, here's a example of how to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317986

Isnt factory reset, just wiping cache and dalvik? If yea, then dirty install isnt the best, depends on rom that im moving from.

factory reset wipes /cache, and /data (without wiping /data/media <--thats where all your pictures and rom zips are stored)
factory reset is needed when moving between completely different ROMs (you can get away with dirty flashes between SOME roms, but its rare)
Oh yea yea, I didn't wipe the internal, something went wrong and the file was deleted, but gapps was there and all my data was there, anyways fixed and got the new nexus 7, enjoying it, much faster and better!

I decided to give cm10.1.3 a try now that it is stable. I've flashed cm on many devices without trouble including this s4. But this time when the phone booted, I had LTE displayed as connected in the status bar but couldn't get any throughput. 3g works fine when I switch to CDMA only. So as a test I flashed 10.2 nightly (which I have run before without issues) and no LTE with it either. So I dug up an old 10.1 nandroid which was fully backed in good shape and holy crap!! No LTE!!! So I flashed back to touchwiz nandroid and LTE works fine. What's up. Very weird. Any ideas.

Same here I'm having troubles with LTE on my s4 running the latest version of beanstalk ROM and I live in a LTE area and have always have been able to get LTE. Any ideas?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
No..I tried re-downloading the ROM from other sources. Still 4g connects but is super slow. Like 5 mins to open a web page. I have great 4g coverage at home usually. 3g Is working good though.

Im not sure but try a apn back up on stock rom, then reflash cm.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
Thanks gottablunt..will try that and post back
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
Apparently you can't backup APN on 4.x ROMs? Not without purchasing titanium backup at least
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
So I figured it out. 4g wasn't working because I'm an idiot and was wiping everything including system. Didn't realize there were settings that need to be left for cm to connect. At least that's the only reason I can think of. Hope this helps someone else so its not a total waste of forum space.

I wiped my system a few days ago when I was flashing the latest beanstalk build, that explains why late isn't working. What should I do to fix it?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
If you have a backup of stock or another touch wiz ROM, flash back to that. Then boot into recovery, and do a factory restore. That will wipe data, cache, and dalvic, but leave the system intact. Then just flash cm or other aosp rom and reboot. Should be good to go!

Just wanted to report that I came in here with the exact same problem and this fixed it for me as well. I was running the Pac Rom nightly and was pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I too had formatted system just by force of habit. Maybe this should be mentioned in install tutorials not to do that.
