EDIT : STOCK 4.3
from the first post on the 2nd page of this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2488601&page=2

Just flash it to your phone first, after flash it you can do what you want. That version will fix your problem 100%. Report it back please.
Flash via Odin V3.09

Bootloop is a "Soft Brick" and can be recovered using CWM or any CWM based recovery.
Hard Brick is a state where the Device is totally dead for the end user, It will not show any screen activites or respond to buttons or no led activities.
Your is a Soft Brick and few steps will recover your device if followed carefully:
- Use Aroma File Manager to backup your data to External SDCard. Backup "/data/app" to External SDCard. You can also try replacing "/system/app" and "/system/framework" with your ROM "/system" if you suspect that some app or mod has done changes in the /system.
- Do a Full Wipe of Cache/Dalvik and try to boot.
- If not booting then Do a Full Wipe of Cache/Dalvik and install "PhoeniX ROM" and reboot. Wait for 10-15 minutes.
- Wipe Cache/Dalvik and Flash Perseus Kernel and Reboot.
This should bring back you device.
If nothing works then Flash STOCK 4.3 from Odin 3.09 as instructed in forum.
Good Luck.

Ok, if you had before a stock 4.3 Rom, you will not be able to flash anymore a 4.2.2 stock rom. If that rom you are using doesn't work, try a different sammobile stock rom, I suggest the newest 4.3 Rom for your country or carrier, or any fob from a different country with same 3G frequency bands.
Use always Odin 3.07 or 3.09, never use 1.85 except for cfautoroot.
Please, report back your final solution.

You won't ever be able to flash second rom because it is 4.2 and you have 4.3 bootloader.
As last chance, I assume you are using Odin 3.09 and no a different version, try again to flash 4.3 stock rom twice at same time, I mean, first, uncheck reboot after flash option, first flash, check back reboot option, second flash, and unwire and see what happen.
If this doesn't fix it sorry, but it would sound as any PCB damage (hardware), and you should go to SAT.
Here in this point, I am so sorry, but our sub

[Q] Flashing PA No Service Issue

I've spent a pretty decent amount of time troubleshooting this myself. Probably wiped my phone and put the stock 4.3 on 20 times. If there is already a thread that solves this please point me in the right direction and I apologize for posting about the same issue. Anyway here is my problem.
I tried to put Paranoid Android on my Nexus 4. The specific version is this one here pa_mako-3.99-RC2-20130920. I booted the most updated 4.3 stock version from googles developers website. From what I read the stock 4.3 would have the most up to date radio. After the stock OS was installed I rooted my phone and installed Clock Work Recovery. Once that was done and was working properly I put pa_mako-3.99-RC2-20130920 as well as the most up to date gapps (pa_gapps-full-4.3-20131024-signed) into my phones memory and booted my phone into CWM recovery. I did a factory reset and wipe, installed the two zips and and then wiped the dalvik cache and continued to boot up my phone. When the phone boots everything seems to work properly except... No service.
Did I do anything wrong in my process? I have also tried to imput my carriers APN settings. What information do you need from me? Any ideas? Thanks guys.
Reflash the ROM. Do a system wipe first. Flash a radio if this doesnt work.

That's been done a blue million times. But I will go ahead and try again. I'll let you know the outcome. Do you have a link for a specific radio?
Update: Wiping the system and then reflashing the rom did nothing. Now updating the bootloader and radio from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020336.

Ok I'll redownload the rom. And no the flashing of the radio did nothing either. I even imput my carries apn settings again. I hit save after entering in the settings and the phone didn't even save the settings.
Are you on an old version of CWM? 4.3 brings SELinux and you may be seeing permissions issues that's preventing you from being able to access the baseband (check under settings)
After redownloading the PA rom and flashing it from the stock 4.3 I have a working up to date version of the PA 3.99 R2. Thanks for the help guys.

[Q] I9500 BOOTLOOP (EFS Related)

Hey Everyone,
Ive made this thread after searching like Mad about the solution but there was none that actually worked
So coming to the point
Ive got a Galaxy s4 i9500 (Flashed the Indian firmware since 4 to 5 months now.. worked perfectly then)
Im not THAT new to the android world and have a perfect idea whatever i do with it.
So my phone has been rooted for a month now and worked perfectly only till today.. I had the Thunder Universe rom to begin with.. and then Smart Droid.. (No offence to the developer) But this rom ruined my phone.. i then had to reflash the stock rom 4.2.2 through download mode in Odin and things were perfect till then.. i went to software update but for some strange reason.. it said failed to update software.. and there was emergency calls.. so i had 4.3 downloaded and flashed.. and then again i rooted and put on the latest THUNDER Universe.. the rom worked perfectly till morning.. when the phone stopped working..(It restarted and went to BOOTLOOP). I then reflashed both the stock roms to check if it was the rom but it wasnt... i booted in the custom android recovery.. cleared cache and factory data hoping that it would work.. but it doesnt work and it shows me
"Failed to mount /efs"
The phone is stuck at the bootloop and the whole samsung BOOTSOUND doesnt play.. it is interrupted after a second and then the phone stays like that forever(in the bootloop)
Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks alot:good:

Steps:

2. Wipe Data, Cache and System
3. Unmount System

You need to flash stock rom with odin. Go into download mode(volume down, power button and home key), then connect your phone, open odin it should says "added", then click pda button and add your stock rom file, when finished checking click start and wait for flashing to be finished. You should search online how to flash stock rom on samsung devices to be sure to do everything like its expected

I think thats better solution to download from sammobile, you need to wait a little bit longer cause download is slow for free users, but you will be sure that you download right file. I have stock rom for gt-i9301i and unfortunately we are not using the same device... I'm glad to help, or try searching here if there is somewhere in threads link for stock for your device

Install SAMSUNG KIES.
Write serial number of your phone located under battery and software will ask you for it through installation.
It download correct stock software for your phone.
I had no problem with that. I hope it will help you.

Only thing you need for flashing stock rom is download mode and odin, you know that. Download the right file with stock rom, or maybe try with flashing custom recovery and try flashing some custom rom like cyanogenmod to see if it works

Null IMEI ONLY on Lollipop/Marshmallow

Hey guys, I have a problem. My IMEI nullified after I flashed a Marshmallow custom rom. I followed this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/help/config-factory-partition-backup-t3316469 . My IMEI is back. After, I updated my zenfone 5 via FOTA, and from the last kitkat firmware I updated to Lollipop. IMEI is gone. After, I followed again the tutorial, and restore my lollipop backup from twrp. IMEI is gone again. I tried too restore mymmcblk0p3 backup from kitkat, but nothing changed. What I do please?
A BIG SORRY for my bad english.
EDIT: baseband null too
EXTRA INFO: My IMEI nullified after I restore a lollipop backup (when I quitting marshmallow)
Me too, after flash rom 6.0.
In LP5.0; Imei,baseband has lost

If anyone is facing this problem then Download Firmware from Asus site. Make sure it's same sku and variant, flash or sideload or install it from sd card method. After installation, power off and charge ur phone for 5-6 hours. Boot into phone let it Complete the boot process.. Check ur IMEI it would be fix.
