You can either
1- download the playstore from Android police website
2- flash gapps if you require framework from following post but you will need to wipe data
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46893983&postcount=131
3- flash stock rom via odin
4- flash a custom rom

I use evo4 with the gapps I posted & have no problems signing into playstore
Gapps contains the Google framework with Google signatures allowing you to use Google play services successfully
Reflash the rom & gapps
ok thx i will try it
do i realy need to flash the rom
can i loose my apps when i flash my rom?
i want to fix this are flashing the gapp files not enough?
can you tell me if the evo rom update true your network i see a update section but i nver did a update saw some mods files here
i was wonderinh wich one to use and how the rom updates
thx for your time
oops double post sry
To flash rom or gapps you must wipe data first - all user apps will be lost so make any backups with titanium backup first
With evo updates download them all from op & flash in Cwm with system mounted

Op stands for original post/poster - you are the op of this thread - It says it next to your name - It also relates to the first posts of a thread
Since you have to wipe data to flash gapps you might as well reflash the rom so you know everything works
For evo do the following
Go into CWM
format system data cache
mount system data cache
flash rom zip
mount system
flash ota 4.1
mount system
flash ota 4.2
format data
Mount System & data
flash gapps
restart

There is no such rom for sgs. And how to install other roms - well, open any rom thread, almost all of them have excellent how to section (and its not hard - download and apply in cwm). Id recommend Docs ROM.

so we are going to try something:
-Download the update.zip from attachment AND the rom zip you want to flash
-put both of them at the root of the internal SDcard (do not rename them)
-disable voodoo lagfix
-reboot in 2e recovery
-choose "apply update.zip" (you may have to made it twice)
-once you are in CWM recovery: install zip from SDcard -> choose zip from SDcard -> select your new rom zip
-it will ask you to confirm flash so choose yes
At this step, it should flash the new rom...
Once it is done, reboot your phone
Report here if it does not work...

Hello,
I got an HTC HD2
MAGLDR v27 BOYPPC rom v27, everything works great except for the wifi.
I have been told that i have to reflash kernel r14 from tyung.
I tried but i failed.
I have red the thread about the kernel but i don't get it.
Can someone please help me?
You need to be more specific first of all... I am going to assume you have MAGLDR opposed to clk. I am going to also assume you have performed all the steps prior to installing a new rom? Demanding help with no supporting information gets you nothing.
Now...
1. You need to get the kernel zip on your SD card. You do this by going to tytungs kernel thread, click on download the kernel you want, save it to your computer.
2. Move the kernel zip from your computer to your SD card.
3. Reboot your phone and hold the power button to boot into recovery.
4. In the recovery menu clear cache partition
5. Go into advanced and clear dalvik cache
6. Now go and install the kernel zip just as you did the rom itself.
7. Reboot phone
8. You are done
9. Hit My Thank You Button

Thank you for the fast respond.
I said i used the MAGLDR version.
Anyhow, i did the things you said.
I always clear my phone also with task 29 and such.
I reboot the phone, but the startup animation keeps on going. It does not freeze.
I would like to thank you but there is no thanks button????
Nevermind, i found the thanks button!
But the phone is still in startup mode.
it's probably because you need to delete the initrd.gz file located in the .zip archive in order to flash it over a rom different than Tytung's NexusHD2. (see here)
Ah, i will try it now!
IT WORKED
Thank you!
I had red the whole thread but i didnt get it.
Thanks allot!
Now you got 2thanks! ;D
You made my day
glad to have been of help

hey all, 2 questions if I may ask
1. if u run allready the [06 Nov 2011][MAG/cLK] NexusHD2-Gingerbread V3.2a (GWK74)(Android 2.3.7)[tytung_r13] u need to do steps 4-5, or u can go flash kernel immediately from zip file in sd card? all things are working fine atm and dont want to mess them up
2. there r 2 kernels regarding my rom if I am not seriously mistaken
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1258110
a. kernel_tytung_r14_update.zip.
b. kernel_tytung_r14_callrec_update.zip.
which one I have to use? (i think the first)
ty for your replies
not angry, i just dont appreciate how my thread gets locked with ''search more'' when i said many times that i am NEW and would love to have HELP step by step instead of pointing me to ''tutorial'' thread where i cant understand wtf it means since im NEW.
please consider HELPING? sorry just upset, back on topic
I am currently on Nexus 7, rooted yesterday with WugFresh on 4.2.1
i really want to install cyanogenmod to have awesome themes, better ram etc. the rom.
how do i do? these tutorials = nonsense for me. or maybe give better details rather than ''3. Place on SD card'' Wtf does that mean?
4. Reboot to recovery, flash nightly_xxxx.zip, flash gapps.zip'' right, HOW? i am new.. ?
thanks yall.. xxoox
I'm here to help, but let's use PM instead or I fear this thread might get closed also
You really shouldn't be modding your Nexus if you don't know what those mean. And usually you can Google things and there's usually an answer.
Did you install twrp recovery using the toolkit?
If you did download titanium backup from the market and make a backup(only if you want apps and data saved)
download cm10.1 and gapps 20121212 boot into recover by powering down, then holding volume down and power until you get to boot loader, after use the up and down volume keys until it says recovery and use power to select.
Wait for twrp to turn on and touch backup and make a backup, next go to to wipe and format data(this deletes all apps) format cache, and then dalvic cache. After go to flash, select cm10.1 and swipe to flash, and find gapps 20121212, and swipe to flash then reboot system.
And of you made a backup with titanium backup download it and restore.
If anything goes wrong or you don't like it just wipe data cache and dalvik cache again and restore the backup you made in twrp recovery.
You can PM me as well if you need to, there's nothing too complicated about it so we'll get through it.
First you need to install a custom recovery (provided you don't already have one).

Thanks but I get red triangle with little droid when i choose recovery...
For some the way of learning is by being walked through a process. For example my coworker could not figure any of this out on his RAZR. I walked him through the process while also giving tips and explaining process and what things mean and do. Now he can do most in his sleep

That means you are using stock recovery, you need to flash a custom recovery.
Can you do that in the toolkit?
I haven't ever used toolkits so I'm not aware of the features they have.
If not you can download goo manager from the play store and flash twrp with it.
It's easier to explain than fastboot.

You need to download the CyanogenMod zip and the gapps zip (both available in the CM thread) then when you have them you go to clockworkmod recovery and select backup. Once that's done you do a "wipe data/factory reset" then once that's done select "install zip from SD card" and find your CyanogenMod zip, install that, then find your gapps zip and install that. Profit.

But remember to put the backup on your computer. As it will get deleted if you do you factory reset.

No it won't.
Not with cwm, that's only with stock recovery or a wipe of the SD card.
Wipe data/factory reset in cwm will NOT wipe the SD card, it only wipes the app data partition, not data/media.

Negative. A factory reset does not touch data/media.

I am currently on Nexus 7, rooted yesterday with WugFresh on 4.2.1
i really want to install cyanogenmod to have awesome themes, better ram etc. the rom.

Root/unlock bootloader/flash recovery, download the ROM and GAPPS if needed, put the USB cable into your MAC, connect the other side (micro USB) to the Nexus 7, copy the ROM&GAPPS to your ROM folder, drag out the cable from the device, reboot into recovery by: 1: Turning it off. 2: Hold the volume down button, hold the power button until you see Google logo, if you see Android icon and big, green Start button in the upper corner of the screen, you can stop holding the volume up button. By navigating with volume buttons, select Reboot Recovery. Make a backup, flash the ROM and GAPPS and you just flashed a ROM! It isn't so hard, is it?

Ok folks, knock it off with the comments.
Just be helpful, otherwise don't post.

Even using twrp it will not wipe your backups if you do a factory restore. Even says so on the screen when you select it.

Remember reading is more efficient then asking for thing that you don't understand in first place, My guide is not a full and final method to doing things. Learn how to use fastboot and adb and ull be good to go (if u want to continue to flash roms and test new things.
But hay I myself started from zero so Good Luck with ur start.
Ok i am going to reply with the step by step guide (for noobs). But remember you are risking your tablet to soft or hard brick buy doing so (Dont blame me).
1. Download WugFresh toolkit 1.6.2 (u already did that).
2. Open it and let it know your device and software version (u already did that).
3. Install drivers (u already did that).
4. Enable developers options to access adb, as guided by the toolkit (u already did that, i am hopping).
5. Click on (Unlock) Bootloader (u already did that, I am hopping).
6. Click on (root) (u already did that, i am hopping).
7. the toolkit will do all of the stuff for u and after all it will download and flash recover (probably ClockWorkMod).
8. Now u have stock with ROOT and UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.
9. Now is the time to backup each and every thing using CWM or toolkit backup feature.
10. Download CM10.1 and gapps and copy them into memory storage.
11. Boot into recovery (turn off the tablet, then turn it on and press and hold volume down when it turns on ull see a boot menu saying bootloader, press volume up two three times untill u see recovery and press power button to enter into recovery.
12. Just to all these steps first then let me know via PM or report back in thread and ill guide u further (i am using TWRP recovery so can't guide u further into the recovery process of CWR).
P.S:This thread will be closed as before so note down the users names that are trying to help u and contact them via PM or start new thread in Q&A section.
A few people Report Problems When using ToolKits..Try Using adb and fastboot commands..they are safer and can get you out of most Problems. If you need Help Step by step then PM Me...i will help you.
Infact you can PM anyone helping you in this thread. That will be better as i am sure you will have a lot of Questions and no point in opening a thread for every Question.
As suspected moved to Q&A section

Is this rom for stock?
What is OTA updates for?
How to install the ROM? Anyone can teach?
Thanks You
To answer your questions
It replaces stock rom - you overwrite stock rom with a custom rom
OTA - over the air - updates system apps & may contain bug fixes
How to install
Enter cwm (if you don't know what this is there are plenty of guides search)
Wipe data & system
Mount system
Install zip from sd card
Select zip
Restart
This is the process for any flashable zip file except with updates you don't wipe data or system
You need to root your phone before you Flash a custom rom - again there are plenty of guides for rooting

evo x 3 is a custom rom......
it is meant as a better altrnative to stock rom..
ota is over the air updates..it usually increases stability to a rom or brings more better features.

please bro could u tell me more about this way
First, go to the link provided https://samsungodin.com/ I would download V310.6 personally.. It must be run in a Windows Enviorment IE. Win 7, Win 10 etc. Put you phone into download mode Volume down, home button, the power button all at the same time. Plug your USB cable into a USB port on your computer, and plug in your phone. Unzip Odin, then open and right click Icon, and run as administrator.. Put TWRP. zip in the AP slot. Under options in Odin uncheck reboot and reset, hit the start. When it says pass, unplug your phone, pull battery. But battery back in. Then hold Volume up, home, and the power button, and your phone will start in TWRP recovery.

TWRP is the custom recovery you flash in Odin, to replace stock recovery. You need that to install custom roms and mods.
Go to this link https://dl.twrp.me/klte/ I would download 3.0.2-1-ktle.img.tar. to your desktop. Open up Odin uncheck reset, and reboot. Place phone in download mode Volume down+home+power. Open up Odin choose AP find your file and insert, then hit start. When done pull battery, but battery back in then Volume up+Home+Power and you will boot into recovery.

Flash TWRP first in Odin.. Then what ever Rom you use, will already have root (some dev's might require you to install root as well separate from the ROM you use).. Put the ROM of your choice on your External SD card. Go to recovery wipe cache dalvik/cache, system, data, internal storage. This is why you but the ROM of your choice on a External sd card, because you will wipe the internal storage. Flash ROM and reboot.. Now of course follow the dev's install instructions, as you might have to do something different. But that is usually the normal process to flash a custom ROM.

If you do not use those app, I just uninstall them period, through Titanium Back Up and Root.. Better yet you really should try flashing a custom rom, you won't have all that garbage.. I'm using this one
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/unified-development/rom-crdroid-t2860894
It runs great.. Give me a minute, I going to upload the files you need, so you do not have to go through the trouble of downloading them..

Put all three files on your external sd card.. Do a full wipe, data, system, cache, delvik/cache
1) Install the rom first (do not reboot yet)
2) Install gapps (do not reboot yet)
3) Then install SuperSu- reboot, and set up normal.
Be sure to give proper credit to the crdroid team..
