Hey,
I'm searching for a stock rom for my TPT. I'm running on CM at the moment but want to go back to stock rom. Unfortunately my own backup is broken. So I would appreciate if someone could upload a nandroid backup for me.
Thinkpad Tablet 16 GB with 3G WE (Western Europe)
Need stock rom too

I want to revert my Iconia back to STOCK 3.1 rom + root and STOCK Kernel. I am currently running honeyvillians oc kernel with the stock rom and the Google + theme. I am not quite happy how I have it set to run and am sick of monkeying with it.
I did a nand backup under backup and recovery, but am not sure if that will put my kernel back to stock as well. If so, just let me know and I will restore it then problem solved.
Problem is:
PC crashed with my backups of the stock rom and stock kernel (not my nand backup unless that got wiped flashing the new rom/kernel)
How do I go about reflashing the stock kernel without causing major issues (I really don't need to brick this like I did to my HTC Glacier...... ) if thats the case. Can anyone provide the correct links to said stock rom and stock kernel or can I just grab the rom off the link below and go to town.
To those who would answere do a search... I have ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189461&page=2 ) and I really want to make sure I get this right. Thats why I am posting this and asking for help from "the pros."
I passed my noobness just a little while back and am kinda afraid to screw up (again) I have flashed many different rom cooks to this beast but only once the kernel and that is what I am afraid to touch again.
Geeze this is a long post. Sorry everyone.
KK love peace and chicken grease yall.
Hi!
Is it possible to flash a stock rom with cwm?
I'm currently on Cyanogenmod nightly #36 but am experiencing volume problems. I can barely hear the people I call and the volume just won't go higher. I want to see if the problem exists on stock rom and in that case return the phone for repair.
What rom is closest to original and can be flashed through clockworkmod? Is there even one that can be handled through rom manager?
That will be the same reply again.
No

Off course you made a backup of your stock rom with CWM before flashing Cyanogenmod, not? Just restore it.
Else do it via Download Mode/Odin, find the stock rom somewhere on this forum.
I recently flashed the [ROM][0.0.7.3]ICS CM9 (Alpha) found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1580286
The CM9 port is a HUGE improvement over Honeycomb, but due to various reasons, including some apps becoming invisible in the Play Market, I would like to return to either the original stock OTA 2 or OTA 2.5 ROM and then update it to OTA 3 (ICS). However, Lenovo doesn't offer the ICS image directly from their servers; it must be downloaded within Honeycomb as an OTA update.
Being the idiot that I am, I failed to make a backup of my original ROM, so now I'm stuck with the CM9 Alpha.
Does anyone have a backup image of ANY version of Honeycomb (3.0, 3.1, 3.2, etc)? Your Thinkpad must be the same model as mine in order for the signature check to work.
I have a rooted Thinkpad Tablet 1838-22U 16GB WiFi (US).
same boat
i did the same thing as above, well i tried to do a backup but at the time i didnt have a big enough sd card around so i said "screw it, i wont want to come back to stock roms now that we have working customs" but custom updates never came and would just prefer to be back on stock so atleast everything works. but have no back up and have tried everything i can think of.
so if anyone out there with a 1838-22u 16gb wifi only us model would be willing to help that would be great, or if anyone knows a way to get around this struggle that would be super.
thanks

Have a ROM now
Xrs,
A friend of mine just gave me copy of his Nandroid backup a few days ago. I flashed it, and it works flawlessly. It is the most recent version of the OTA, ver. 2.5 I think. I would send you a download link, but it is over 4 GB in size! I'll try to figure out a way for you to download it, but if you want to, you can send me $5 on Paypal and I'll ship you a DVD with the files.

Is it still possible to download the backup? My backup doesn't work, and I am stuck. I would really like to go back to the stock ROM.
Thanks

Look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35464658
skeevy420 posted a port of a CM 7.2 ROM. It's the best IMO. Ask anyone here, cm 7.2 is the best running ROM for the bravo.
Current ROM: CM7.2 Euroskank Cherry Picks | Bravo port

I think I read somewhere how to backup the stock ROM but I haven't researched how to do that.
What I would do instead would be to:
1. Root your phone with SuperOneClick http://shortfuse.org or an alternative.
2. Download Titanium backup from the market
3. Backup up apps and data using that
IMO, once you install a ROM, you won't want to go back to stock, but if you ever want the stock firmware, you can easily flash the .sbf file to the bravo, which will restore your phone to its factory new state (then repeat steps 1 & 2, and on step 3 you'll restore the apps and data).
To backup the stock rom, root it and install Defy 2nd-init. Then boot into recovery and make a nandroid.
As fas as the sbf being the "stock rom", not all Bravos come with the ATT SBF software on them. A good example was that user who installed CM7 and lost the 900\1800 baseband since its not available in the baseband switcher.
Read the Guide Its for the Defy, but a lot of the information is the same for us. Just ignore the parts about the Defy SBFs and CG Values.
Hello,
Could someone please help me regarding this, few of us have faced this audio issue after switching to RR and then once we have switched to other rom the call audio was missing. even restoring the complete nandroid backup and going back to stock 316 is not helpful as the problem remains the same. The only way to make it work was to switch to AOSP 9 Roms. I am not getting why this problem is not solving even after complete flash and getting back to stock Rom. I have a 6 GB variant

I had the same issue. Even a nandroid backup of full stock rom couldn't solve the problem. I had to flash the stock rom in fastboot to make it working again :/

Same problem here... Revert back to stock but no luck...
