Hi guys!
Some weeks ago, I unrooted my i9505. This saturday I wanted to root again, because of the Kitkat roms from jamal and janjan.
When I'm booting my phone there is a message in the top corner:
"KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID
Set Warranty Bit : kernel"
I read on some different websites that this message isn't cursing any problems, but it would be nice if I could fix it anyways.
Also when i enter download-mode this is what it says:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9505
CURRENT BINARY:Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
eMMc BURST MODE enabled
Is there any way to fix this?
Before rooting this saturday i had a stock firmware installed, which i found here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/
Rooted my phone with this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219803
I've had some random reboots on both roms (jamal and janjan) since then - i don't know whether that is caused by the "enforcing"-error or by the ROM..
Hope you can give me some anwers
Thanks guys
This message appears coz maybe u tried to change the STOCK KERNEL for other different or maybe the ROM u installed have custom KERNEL. I recommend u make WIPE in recovery and install STOCK ROM for let ur system clean. U will can root it and install custom recovery then
So this is what i should do:
1. Boot into TWRP
2. Wipe everything
3. Flash Stock Firmware from ODIN
4. Try to boot, and then the message should be gone
- Or did i misunderstand something?

Nothing can change
only CURRENT BINARY:Custom and SYSTEM STATUS: Custom to Official
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 you can not change

No, you will not have problems
Knox will not work when 0x1
If you install the correct official firmware and this message - "KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID* Set Warranty Bit: kernel "should be removed
Hi guys,
I see this message "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" when I boot into recovery.
However everything seems to be working just fine and recovery as well.
I installed the openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.1-trltetmo.zip because I have T-Mobile.
Should I be worried?
Edit just read it , it does say seandroid I thought it said selinux lol. Presume it just means knox has been tripped

ok thanks!
Good day guy, i searched other thread but it seems mine was different.
After i flash TWRP for SC-02H i got this message "Kernel is not seandroid enforcing set warranty bit: kernel" and after that it keeps rebooting on TWRP it won't let me to boot in system.
Im using SCV33 but unlock by modified before of SC-02H that's why i used SC-02H TWRP.
Anyone how to fix this Without getting back on stock rom? i really wanted to root my phone and remove bloatware please i need help.
I lended the phone with the latest OTA firmware to a friend of mine and he returned it back with "set warranty bit: kernel" on the top left of boot screen.
In the download mode it also reports CUSTOM binary and system so I guess he fu-ked it by flashing either wrong firmware or rooting it.
Is there any way to correct this? ODIN with the latest original 4 files version of firmware?
It's probably time to have "the talk" with your friend. About respecting other people's property, I mean.
You can revert system binary status to Official by either restoring with SmartSwitch or flashing stock firmware with Odin (as mentioned), and possibly wiping. Unfortunately, though, your Knox warranty bit is now permanently locked to 0x1 and nothing can be done about that, short of replacing the motherboard.
Thanks I reflashed the OEM 4-file ROM and the stupid yellow message is history
Still does not explain why and how your "friend" has managed to flash your phone with some dodgy firmware....
I rooted my phone using CFRoot and installed TWRP but then when I try to flash into recovery I received a message "KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" and "SET WARRANTY BIT:RECOVERY" I downloaded the twrp jfltecan.
I know this is an old post but, in case you did not, the message you are receiving is a not uncommon since you flash non-signed Samsung software to the phone.
