Hey guys,
I have a problem with a l5 e610.
I have flashed the device with baseband 20, CM 10.2 and pinkflozd kernel and now after the LG logo it goes to a white flashing screen. When trying to enter CWM Recovery the back and menu lights come one for a couple of seconds and then the device turns back off.
Right before I used this kernel and most things worked but overclocking.
I have tried EDM with LG PC Suite but it gives the number 43 when trying to recover the device.
Is there still hope for this device?

Hello!
Yesterday I tried flashing AOKP unofficial to my LG Optimus L5 E610, and something went wrong.
When I got the "Update finished" in CWM, I rebooted. I had a good welcome by a white screen, and some random things happening at the bottom of the screen. The phone shows the first LG Logo, but not the second one.
When I connect it to PC, or loader, It stops at just a blank, white screen.
I have tried using KDZ Updater, but it says "PHONE NOT FOUND". The same thing about ADB.
When I try to boot up in the CWM, All I get is a short flash from the key lights, and nothing happening from there.
I have tried entering emergancy, and download mode too, but I am not sure about the key combo for these modes.
Is there a way to get in another working ROM, or the stock one?
Please, help :'(
Edit: I managed to get in to the download mode, but KDZ updater ican still not find my phone when attempting to update

You have to use a special kdz, v10d_download, search it on the net.
And are you waiting holding the buttons until the pone vibrate to enter cwm?

I have been holding the buttons for about 2-3 minutes, but nothing happend. Not even vibrations, or a single screen flash

You have to flash v10d_downgrade FIRST, and then, when it finisihes, let it boot up (it'll be in russian) , then you can flash anything you want

I managed to get the phone in to the download mode, but it installet JB instead of ICS. Now, I am unable to root the device :'(
Where can I find the downgrade kdz?
Oh, I forgot to mention that after getting it running with JB,it does not want to enter download mode anymore. Ideas?
Ok, so I found the v10d_downgrade.kdz , flashed it, and it is stuck in a bootloop.
Tried flashing the original kdz, but it gives the same result.

Thats the size of the file that i have. Maybe restart pc & phone and try again.
Actually there is no secure root option for JB (unless you want a chinesse root app)
what did you do to get into download mode

Search Google for Hard-Reset followed by your device name. You will get a key combination to hard reset it.
Best of luck!!

Hi Folks,
I had TWRP installed and updated cm11 with a new nightly. I did a wipe cache and restarted. Phone got stuck on the LG screen. I could not get into recovery after this. I then used the LG support tool and flashed using 'Upgrade Recovery' option.
Phone now is stuck on same LG boot screen but now LED flashes also.
Can anyone help? I am really stuck here guys. :crying:
Cheers,

Did you select 3GQCT instead of CDMA which is selected by default ?
See if you can get into recovery once again.
Some tips: Hold power and down to make device restart, then let go... As soon you see the lg logo hold down and power. Timing is the key. There are sometimes I think I don't have recovery but in reality i do. Its all user error. If that don't work, try get in download mode. And flash zvc tot and get back to the stock.

Hey,
I'm in the same case but the R&D soft say there is an error. Plus I can't acces the hard reset menu nor recovery...
I can't also see my device on recovery as I only see in the device manager : LGE Android Net USB Serial Port.
And this is like that when I try to boot or when I'm in download mode.. Any help would be great...
PS : I try to make a restore with the LG Mobile Support Tool (the true one) but will only get answer in 6hours (best connection ever!!)...
Edit1 : That worked! I get out of the download mode and let the software do is job and there is new! Now I have to put a pin /password but I don't know which one ^^' ... I've tried to go back in download mode or hard reset mode but it don't work..
Edit2 : I don't get how but I manage to get in download mode. After that I perform a restore to another kdz and now I'm using the factory reset which seems to take a lot of time..
Thanks for the replies folks. Got it sorted out. This seemed to be the only way to get it sorted :

Hello,
this could be a silly question, but I'm actually hopeless about it...
I've been using CloudyG3 for 3 days, but I had some problems about it, so I decided I'd revert back to stock. I entered the Download Mode, installed the V20D ROM using LG's Support Tool, and, when the phone restarted, tried to enter the Factory Reset screen. Try as I might, I couldn't do that, so I'm stuck in a bootloop (I mean, the LED indicator is flashing, but no LG boot animation - just the static logo. I think there could've been some problem while flashing the FW, that's why I would like to enter Download mode again, or maybe at least turn my phone off (it can only restart). Nevertheless, while trying to flash the FW again while in a bootloop, everything from model no. to firmware version installed is shown correctly, but it can't boot into Download mode.
Thanks in advance!

No, I don't.

Hi!
I managed to get my device totally bricked.
Phone is on bootloop and I only get LG logo and then "Security Error" message. I can't enter recovery mode or download mode. Only mode I'm able to go is the "Hardware key control mode" mode, where I can see my IMEI code. I can't get windows or linux to recognize my phone. I've tried several drivers, but no luck getting my laptop recognize my phone. I have also tried couple of tutorials to solve this problem, but the main problem seems to be that I can't get my laptop to recognize my phone.
Is there anything I could do or should I just buy a new phone?
Hi Jutei,
What led to this bricking? Were you trying to install a ROM? Which ROM was it? Was it a wrong variant? Please be specific as to what you did to brick it..
Also, some people have seen success by installing this driver. Are you familiar with ADB?

Hi deathbytalkshow!
I ended up to this stage by rooting with this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448887) and trying to flash with this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/rom-xenonhd-d802-t3036576).
First I wiped data and cache. Then rooted and it went trough with no problems. I tried to flash with this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager. It booted to recovery and started flashing. Soon it said that flashing failed and after reboot I found myself in this bootloop.
Hope this helps someone to help me.
Try this:
1. Turn phone off.
2. Press POWER+VOL DOWN
3. When LG Logo appears, immediately release POWER+VOL and press and hold VOL UP+VOL DOWN

Hi, I tried this and got to the factory reset window. It started to do reset, but pretty soon it booted and went back to bootloop. So this didn't help. I'll try those ADB drivers today.
Hi, tried adb drivers, but no luck. My laptop still doesn't recognize my phone. USB gives power, but beside that windows doesn't seems to notice that my device is plugged. Is there anything else I could try?
so you didnt make a backup before flashing? what recovery did you flash? i bricked my phone with rom manager before and will never use it again but i had a backup and was still able to get it to eventually boot into twrp to restore.

Yeah, I was stupid enough not to backup. The recovery was the stock one. Is that where I went wrong? Should I've had custom recovery installed?

I turned usb-debugging was on before phone got bricked. I think the phone should be found somehow on computer. For example this fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48765620#post48765620) needs Linux to recognize the phone, but I can't even do that. I guess the problem here is that my phone won't enter the download mode. I'm going to try with couple of different computers when I get back home from my holidays.
I also found another fix to try. I have to drain the battery and after a little re-charge I should be able to enter the download mode. I'm trying this next.
yes thats where you made your mistake. that also makes me think download mode wont work period, but im not positive. im surprised rom manager even tried to flash anything without a recovery. thats why i dont use apps like that anymore because you wouldnt of been able to **** it up that bad on your own. so you said you tried the key combo to take you to the factory restore? if you didnt flash a recovery then i would think you could get that to work. did you look into lg's flash tool? maybe that will somehow read it. i remember seeing a post in the general forum about a way to take the phone apart and short the chip out but ive never had to actually read it so i couldnt tell you whats all involved. sorry bout your phone.

Well, I just got myself in the same boat.
The phone will show the LG Logo then the security error and shut down. When plugged in with a USB to the PC it will just reboot.
Nothing is showing in Device Manager either. I done the same in the stock recovery and I tried to Side load CM12 it failed and straight into this loop.
I got nothing now. I just done see how shorting circuits will fix the issue when it's just software. Absolute nightmare as the 12 months warranty has gone.
I tried to do a hard reset and I get the android man saying its working then it shuts down and starts the error again. I'm unable to get in the Download Mode either and I'm stuck
I don't know what to do now. The flash and Support tool will not recognize the phone.
jfletch86, I tried LG Flash Tool, but the problem is that it just says no devices found. Same problem with fix I linked, I can't do anything to my phone if my laptop doesn't find it. I'm beginnig to loose hope

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that you are in the same boat. Symptoms are the same. It seems that we have bricked our phones pretty badly. Hopefully someone comes up with fix that works. Problem is that anyone wise enough to fix this isn't stupid enough to end up this stage.
I'm hoping the same too. I just don't know why it wont allow me to do anything.
I have a nexus 4 and I've never had a problem.
I am getting nothing when plugged into my PC and its like the phone is turning on and off in the boot loop and the lg symbol.
I get the hard reset menu but the computer still doesn't recognise.
I just feel sick at the moment !!

i have no idea. please guide me through it.
As the title says. My k20 is boot looping with a black screen. The LG logo no longer shows.
I had Lineage 15.1 loaded, and thought I wound make a twrp backup using Travis' Red Wolf 64bit recovery. (Greetings, fellow Hoosier)
But, that wasn't enough for me. After the backup, I wanted to try the Nethunter Kernel. I was softbricked, so I recovered the boot partition and all was fine. But, silly me figured if nethunter didnt work for me then to try out FuseBox. After flashing that, the phone rebooted into a black screen, no logo. So, now way of knowing what stage of first boot it is in.
After some fiddling, I can get it into download mode, still black screen, I only know it's in download mode because LG Up(With Uppercut) suddenly detects it. At first, it only stayed in DL mode for for a few seconds then rebooted. Durng one of those "few seconds" boots, I manage to quickly start the LG Up Upgrade process, halting the reboot. I tried flashing MP26010j and 26010k. The flashes complete successfully then reboot, but.... still a black screen and continually reboots after about 15-30 seconds..
Tips, suggestions, ritual sacrifices?
If not for the boot looping I would think that a video driver isn't loading.
alternatively, anyone know of a comparable or close enough phone under $80 usd?
Had the same problem with bricked black screen.
i fixed mine by flashing a kdz with lgup tool
Connect it to windows make sure it doesnt keep disconnecting hold vol and power buttons different ways till is stable
flashed it like 4 times till the lg logo poped up and booted up factory mode now im back to lineage/wolf revovery. Dont give up yet
I do appreciate the motivation. I just went through the process another 10 times with the 26010j kdz, and 10 with the 26011k kdz. No luck.
