couple of mount maybe
L7 is probably going to skip Android 4.2.2 and 4.3. I've heard that 4.4 will possibly be available for the LG Optimus family, but nothing is sure. If you want to run Android 4.3 or 4.4, try one of the many ROMs available.

Hi
I'd like to ask ; where I can find official G2 update 4.3 ? I don't like kitkat I just want still same original LG ROM but 4.3 ?
Is there any ? (please NOT USA versions )
Thank you
You can't find it because it hasn't been released, nor will it be.
LG is allegedly working on 4.4, with a release date of Q1/2014. That ROM will be a 4.4 but will look totally like 4.2.2 because of LG UI.
Most carriers skipped 4.3
The only devices getting 4.3 are ones who aren't getting 4.4
-sent from my LG G2 using XDA Premium 4
Hello everyone, I'm considering T-Mobile's LG G2 as my next device over the Nexus 5, but I've heard the latest update locks down the phone preventing the installation of custom ROMs. Is this true or am I misunderstanding something? Basically, If I were to purchase T-Mobile's G2 preinstalled with latest updates would I be unable to install ROMs like CM11 or AOSP at this point? I apologize if this has been answered before, but I haven't been able to find a clear answer and I am anxious to get my next handset.

Yes and no. When you get your G2, it will have Jelly Bean on and not KitKat. So with that, you can root/install recovery and flash CM11 or any other ROM you wish to. But if you choose to update your phone to TMO's official KitKat, there's no recovery yet for that at this point. But you can always downgrade back to Jelly Bean, I've done it numerous times.
Good luck!
Actually there is no way to install recovery on Kitkat. Only way is to have the phone running JB to have root and recovery but there is a way to have recovery on kitkat but for you to have that you have to have jb on your phone first. It have something to do with JB bootloader on kitkat. If you buy your phone and have kitkat. downgrade to jb root flash a recovery. and now most kitkat roms have these patches so you can keep recovery while on kk
I have a LG G2 running on 4.2.2 and I cannot upgrade to 4.4 anytime soon because the update is apparently not available at the moment (according to ATT support. I have a D800 and want a barebones ROM that runs on 4.2.2. Any help is appreciated.
