Hi, its my firts time here and l have a big problem with my acer a500.
l did a downgrade to my acer iconia a500 to 3.0.1 and l need upgrade to 4.0.3 ICS but l cant because in the install say random offset 0x1d2...
what can l do for fix it?
its my acer now:
version:3.0.1
kernel: 2.6.36.3
copilation number: Acer_A500_1.016.05_com_GEN1.
and l have root, astro file manager, y cwm v8_thor_1.7.3.
help me plz. what rom can l install ?

After the installation, my Tf300 stock in the boot logo. It was before the ASUS Rom 4.2.1 installed, with open bootloader.
After each new installation, my Tablet Stock.
Can anyone here help me?

What version of android were you on before trying to install the rom. Were you on 4.1.1 or do you update to 4.2.1
Also if you updated to 4.2.1 what version of twrp are you using.
Hi, i have Acer Iconia A500 ... i know something about flashing , rooting etc on sony phones... but i have some question here-
Im on stock latest ICS -
1. How root it and install CWM ?
2. What i need to install CustomROMs , only CWM ? on development page i saw STOCK- PREROOTED official FW... can this one be flashed without CWM ?
3. Its it safe ? cant it brick ?
i know SONY phones are almost immortal , but about this acer i have fear

I have a old Acer a500 running android 3.0.1 that rooted and has custom roms on it also have Acer Recovery installer v3.03 and currently running cwm rev 1.7.3 by thor2002ro.
My question is can I load any new roms or do I need a need loader or something where should I start.
