Sammobile firmware page you get stock roms and development sorum is for custom roms.

S4 Google Edition Gallery - Photosphere works

Photosphere is awesome. Tested on CM10.1
Install like normal app
If you cannot install it remove original one (create backup just in case).

Yes it works with cm 10.1. I removed the system gallery and installed this one like regular app.

Region unlock is different. I'm not sure if it would work but I wouldn't even try because there isn't a root capability for kk yet.
