Hi, I've got a HUGE problem.
Today I decided to root my G2 d802 (european free distribution) and flash a CM rom.
After cleaning dalvik and factory reset i tried to flash this rom but Status 7 showed up.
So, I tried to launch G2 and find a solution for it but it started to boot loop.
Okay.
Even worse, (don't ask how, but it wasn't me!) there PROBABLY was format /system,,
After that my G2 stucks on LG logo and nothing else happens. No loop no anything. I can only go into recovery while seeing white screen asking if I agree to do format. Everytime, but it never boots normally, it's always stuck.
So, what can I do?
I can't access the phone from my computer while beeing in the recovery (it appears as a device, but i cannot access it..).
I can only use recovery
LG G2 D802
CWM-based Recovery v6.0.4.4
Sorry for bad english, not my native language.
Help me, please! How can I unbrick my G2?!
So I tried to flash Stock rom, but when in download mode G2 isn't considered as plugged into a computer. LG Mobile Support Tool can't find the device... Any help?

There is a way to probably fix it but if you cant just put your phone in the water till it breaks and use your warranty to get another one thats what I did with my D801 when it bricked

Nevermind. It came back to boot loop, so it's not bricked.
But i've got some problems.
Mainly - i still can't access my phone through my computer.
When i try to flash Stock Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 this thread) i recive: http://i.imgur.com/ijSgtwp.png - screenshot from Device Manager when in download mode: http://i.imgur.com/kMLCW7t.png and when in recovery: http://i.imgur.com/wGU6qnz.png
So we're back into boot loop.
Any help? Please?
Can you attach an otg card reader or flash memory stick from recovery?
adb sideload helps you. or adb push
The problem is, because of a tutorial on my local Android site which tells how to unloop boot in G2 I've got TWRP now instead of CWM (it was about access to terminal something and writing a command, but it didn't do ****, but it seemed to work for few people), and it would be fine, but... now computer doesn't recognize my phone. Unidentified Devices: LG G2-D802, so I can't access sideload...

I've got OTG Cable (bought for my Nexus 7) somewhere, but none of above.
LOL NEVERMIND
Becouse I had nothing to lose i decided to try to flash CM and it worked.
CWM couldn't flash it for 5 times, TWRP did it immediatly.
Topic closed, thank you for your responses.
You need to first download the kdz and lg flash utility with drivers.
Install drivers
The factory reset deleting system, cache, internal sd.
Then shutdown your g2.
Start to downloaded mode connecting your g2
Flash kdz & voila... Done
I too bricked my phone before. My flashing stuck at 49%. Recovered using above method, all is well now
This works 1000%. I bet on it. Just remember to wipe the phone completely before flashing. You will return to stock with unrooted status in download mode. U will have your warranty back too

Maybe it works for you too.
okay. hi im new and i really need your help to fix my lg g2. im not really good with these kind of stuff so i hope you all can help me.
i have a LG D802 (international version) 4.4.2 kitkat
here is what happened:
1.) i rooted my device using towelroot app and it was successful
2.) i installed autorec
3.) i backup my data
4.) i flashed the cloudy g3 rom
5.) i noticed my apps weren't there so i restored my backup
6.) all hell went lose. whenever i try to boot my phone i get stuck at the LG logo screen with "Security Error" at the bottom
7.) i went to recovery mode using hard buttons (TWRP)
8.) i accidentally wiped everything. everything that can be wiped there i checked and wiped em all.
9.) now im stuck in recovery mode
i was supposed to try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 but i cant turn my phone off to go to download mode. i have all files for this method ready.
i asked around and one said that i can use and otg cable and reflash cloudy g3 rom. but then i have no otg cable right now and would have to wait tomorrow to get one. will this even work?
i really hope someone can spend time to help me. thanks
Have you tried using OTG ??
With OTG cable connect Your pendrive to your cell and see !! Reboot to TWRP and flash the rom that you needed It should work :good:
i got a new situation. now im in download mode and it isnt moving at all. still at 0%. how long does this usually take?
I recently purchased a modded Korean F320S LG G2 and started fidling with TWRP, etc as I do to my regular LS980. Flashed a rom and my girl accidentally took an OTA and soft bricked it (yeah i forgot to remind her of what happened to my LS980 on the T-Mobile rom). I figured no big.deal. So i tried restoring it and it wouldnt work. Lots of errors and fail attempts caused it to now not boot at all. It will not turn on, it will not andwont boot to download mode, etc. I have tried to charge it but with no success. When i connect it to my PC, it does make a sound as if it were to detect the thing but thats about it.
This is my first time with the Korean model and I am beyond stumped as to what to do. Any ideas?
Hi everybody!
I have Lg g2 D802 Baltics. Yesterday I tried to return to Stock KitKat via Lg mobile support tool and Flashtool, both of them didn't work, they just didn't find my phone in download mode. Then I decided to reroot and reinstall TWRP. The first was done and the second too, but unfortunately my phone restarted and got a Security error and LG logo and can't boot, just permanently restarts. I've already read a hundreds of articles like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 . The method written here isn't working for me because the Flashtool just can't find my phone when trying to install a firmware. So, any program like Lg support tool and Flashtool don't find my phone, so I can't do anything with my phone to get it to work. I'm facing i real problem for me and i'm quite shocked. So, please, tell me what to do, how to fix my phone. I tried a lot of thins, nothing helped. What to do?
Please help. I know this is for the 8.3 but there is not thread for the 7.0. I am stuck in a bootloop. When I put in download mode it wont install the MTP drivers so the LG flash tool wont work. Also I can't find the KDZ for the v410 to do it with out the internet. Also It wont detect adb. That is really all i need. I must have gotten the prob.build mixed up with my g3 and I need to put the original one back on there. yes I have a back up of it, but I can't access the system files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you try installing mtp drivers directly in windows? not from the tablet?
Yes. Called lg. They are fixing it. Even though it is rooted.

Hi, zylith. I have the same tablet and same bootloop problem now. i cant find KDZ file for it.
Did LG fix your tab? Any suggestion for me? Please help. Thx a lot!!!
I know it's an old thread but I still need some help. I rooted my LG Gpad 400 and proceeded to install the bumped version of TWRP through flashify. It prompted me with an error and got stuck on LG logo. I managed to turn it off and on again after a while and it worked just fine (no twrp installed though but today I wanted to unlock the oem to flash TWRP through adb the more traditional way but my tablet was stuck in rebooting - booted up for a few seconds and started rebooting again. Iwent for factory reset since I didn't have any data on it so nothing to lose but now it's saying 'Factory reset processing...' and has beenm on this screen for good half an hour and counting. Please help.
Today my tablet is back to restarting constantly. I really don't know what to do and it makes the tablet unusable as I can't access the settings menu to extract IMEI necessary for OEM unlock. Please help x
