Just got my tmo lg g2 best rom so far? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know there's a few roms for tmobile lgg2 available but curious by opinion what seems to be the "Go to rom" of popular choice as far as popularity and stability is concerned.
Rather then browsing flashing Roms and reading change logs all day.
Just rooted and made my nandroid.. I'm ready for flashing well at least one for now
Any recommendations?
And first want to ask is the T-Mobile variant bootloader locked? I don't wanna run into any of lg's well known security errors

Best ROM/Kernel threads are not allowed in XDA, head over to the development section and see which "best" suits your needs.

Which is the most stable ROM for nexus 4 ?

Just wanna known which is the most stable ROM for nexus 4? And please if anyone can share the pros and cons of all the different ROMS which will be a great insight for new rooted users.

Stay with stock. Stable, reliable, and bug free (well at least as bug free as Google managed to make it)...and will save us precious time describing Roms that you can try for yourself.
This thread should be in Q&A, not development.
try one if you like keep it if not try another
It's a fair question but there have been really similar posts and you should consult them. Check out the posts on individual roms to get a feel. Try them out yourself. Nobody can really objectively tell you how stable a rom is due to varying usages. Also roms are constantly updating and their stability can vary from release to release. Also this should be in the QA forum
Rasbean Jelly + Trinity.

[Q] question about roms

Im really interested in a s4 rom, just got today but having some trouble finding a rom for sprint, first is there a way to get wicked tmoble working on sprint gs4, if not what is the most comparable rom to wicked for sprint s4(full customization while still retaining all TW features, hotspot, and so on)? any help appreciated.
Dude, take some time and read. Then go and read some more.

So i have read, and what i have found is that if the rom is for sprint it doesnt have anything, im not asking for a best rom or whats your advice on a good rom, im saying i switched from carriers and am trying to find the closest rom to my old carriers rom. So far i have tried a coulple roms, either missing TW features that wicked had or not customizable at all(or what im trying to change). And FYI theres not much reading to do when it comes to the sprint roms, there is what 12 of them that are close to updated? and only 18 TW roms that i could find(and also only 18 listed on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303917, but anyways thanks for not helping at all. If i was just lazy i would have asked what is the best rom but i would like other users advice on a similar rom, isnt that the point of the forums? And im hoping someone else made the switch to sprint and can give me some advice considering so far 4 roms i have tried have not compared at all to wickeds level and no i dont plan or want to put the ported wicked 5 on my gs4 seeing as how old it is. I have done my research on the roms and there features like i said its around 12 roms that are updated and most dont have anything that makes them shot past the stock roms.
The only way to figure out what the best rom for you is, is testing them out yourself.
No two roms on the same carrier, let alone across carriers, are going to have exactly the same features.
And if you're unhappy with your perceived lack of ROM support on this phone, you could always learn to develop your own personal ROM that has all the features that you want.

So i just got the g2 about a week ago, coming from an iphone and getting back into android. I was curious what the most stable rom was for the g2 and which ones were good in your opinions. Also i have looked a little into rooting it but there seems to be more steps than i temember with my droid x2. Could someone post the steps or link me to a thread that thoroughly describes it, all help is appreciated, thanks friends

If this thread is open long enough, every rom available will be suggested at least once. If there was a "best rom", there would only be one rom. Are you capable of understanding this fact? That's why threads like this are forbidden on xda.

I understand the flaw in the way i put the title, but i was asking about the most stable rom. Also i was asking people for their opinions of the rom, so yes i would get multiple rom suggestions. Yes i am capable of understanding the fact, thank you for the condescending reply on my first post here though i feel very ****ing welcomed
Personally for me I am using the Inverted Energy ROM with furnace kernel and I couldn't be happier. Sure its not a kitkat rom, but it runs smooth and reliably. If you have a d801 device check Energy ROM out.

For what it's worth, I'm using Paranoid Android on the VS980 and its pretty great. Very vanilla right now, but I like it that way.
Also, put your armor on because that's just XDA's schtick. You'll usually get ridiculed before you are given a kind hand and pointed the right direction. It's a great place to find resources, but it can also be a nightmare to locate the people who aren't riding around the forum with their noses up.

For the best stability a stock or LG Flex based rom is recommended
Also, by far the best kernel for this phone is Dorimanx' kernel (for stock and flex roms)
Recently, the developer of the most popular rom quit developing his rom further, but it's still the best in my book. If you want stability, simplicity and lightweight I'd definitely look at either Cloudyfa's Flex rom or just keeping it stock, rooting it, debloating it yourself and using some of the great Xposed modules that are available for the G2.
Thanks for the recent suggestions guys they've great. I have the g2 from Verizon so its the vs 980. Are the flex roms the ones that can be used on any of the models? I have just rooted my device so I'm looking into how to debloat. Ive usually preferred a rom over the stock. And as far as the different kernels go, im completely in the dark about them, I've never experimented with loading new ones on my phone. My game consist of just flashing the roms. With my droid x2 it had the removable sd card but with the g2 I'm a little confused on the route to take when flashing the rom itself
Just one advice.
use any stock ROM and avoid kitkat for now because they don't include native applications like quickremote.
I've tried many roms including kitkat roms and finally came back to a ROM based on stock firmware.
good luck.
We do not allow best ROM/Kernel threads on XDA. Depending on your use and your liking what is best for you may not be best for someone else and vice-versa. Head over to the development section try some out and see which "best" suits your needs.

Board ROM

Hello,
what is the best rom stock based for d802?
there is no such thing as "best this" or "best that"...
what's best for me may not be best for someone else...
btw this kind of threads/questions are forbidden on xda
Best rom threads are allowed now, after a controversial decision by the xda owners.

any good stable ROMs worth flashing Over stock.

Unlock bootloader and flash recovery. Looking for a good stable ROM. I like auto update. But not really picky
Am I better off just sticking with stock rooted
There's several threads on this subject already
I really like TruPureXMM, but its the only ROM I've tried for the MXPE.
I've been using it for 5 months, with no regrets.

Care to link a couple I kinda have the same question.
I want one that is mostly stock and all the stock features work...
I think you can find them.
Please search and read through the forums. No one can really answer what is the best ROM because it is subjective to the individual. If you can't decide or don't want to go through the hassle of searching, reading, and trying a ROM that might not meet your requirements, then stick with stock.

Stock is good with root, on custom ROM many problems...

but that is just it the point of this thread and threads like this is to take a polling of the community on what rom people liked running best it is not always about laziness a lot of the time it is someone who just got the phone looking at the rom forum and seeing 15-30 roms to choose from all with 200-300 posts they are expected to read to find out the issues people have been having.
My first rom to try will be TrupurexMM
I see your point. But this topic has been brought up multiple times for this device. You are expected to read through the forums and ask questions if they have not been asked.

I also just recently bought the Moto X Pure, and I am also interested in what ROMS people are currently using.
There may already be several threads on the subject, but ROMS go through updates and things change, so I don't see any reason why a new thread on the same subject would be a bad thing to have on the forums.

Because as you said, we already have other (unneeded) threads on the subject.
As it is, there is no "best" ROM.. what is best for you, may not be for others. Read the threads, see what interests you, and go from there.
