Dear Mods,
I know I'm not alone when I say this, but we would like our own forum for our Canadian variant of our device. As our device is significantly different from other variants, and nobody likes specific projects for N900W8 to be jumbled along with ROMs for N900 or N9005 (as they can't be installed on a W8 device without major issues), I would like to start a poll to gather people who would like a clean forum, not a forum with three different variant's ROMs jumbled up together that aren't cross flashable.
Also asking questions and finding solutions is easier when the entire forum uses the same device, so a solution for the specific device is much more convenient in the same forum!
Also go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46446026&postcount=11600 to like my post and also post a quick reply saying you want the N900W8 as well!
Thanks a lot!
Nicholas
Please!!

This sure would make things a lot easier that's for sure...especially once things really get going with development and once our phones have roms released
I agree with this idea!
Yes please !
Another yes. It's always been jumbled together with AT&T and then i have to manual filter to find items that are applicable.
+1 On this. Right now I'm reading on different sub forums to find out which model my phablet actually is compatible with.

Agreed we need our own forum since the cross flashing as seen with s3 and s4 arent going to apply with N3 so it would seem.

flashing Roms even from other versions of the same model don't work. We definitely need our own board.

Just be aware that it looks to not be compatible with any if the ones with their own forum as of yet....maybe with custom roms or a custom installer but not now

Short answer is no...
We just don't want to be lumped into the U.S.A providers.

Bell/telus..rogers/fido probably.
Wind runs on diff frequencies. ..people on wind dont even get LTE. having this phone and no lte is like having a ferrrari but you cant take it out of first gear!
At the very least wind users will need to flash another baseband to run a rogers or bell ROM

I'm just wondering, would it be possible to eventually kind of convert the Canadian Note 3 variant into an American variant? I don't think I've read about any hardware differences between the two variants. Also, I can't imagine there would be too much development for just the Canadian Note 3 alone (or has there been an active developer community for Canadian devices previously?).

For your information, the Galaxy S4 have his own section in the forum :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2257
As you can see, there is plenty of roms and folks exchanging informations, tips and bugs for the same device, which make sense for me
Just remind every one, not only Canadian is using N900W8, N900W8 is a very large group. Mexico, Many South America country is using N900W8 too.
Plz develop this model phone.

I think that is because at&t is SGH-i337 and rogers/bell is SGH-i337M; T-mobile is SGH-M919, Wind is SGH-M919V.
But now the model name is big difference, dont know if the hardware has different or is bootloader lock or not difference.

Yeah that's why there's a / in the title too
That raises a question too. Is the Wind version of W8 actually the same as the Robellus W8? Even though numbers match up, we won't know till we can compare the stock ROMs with each other.

Hey guys I have the AT&T Note 3 and I'm having trouble finding ROMS for it. I ask that if you know any ROMS that are for the AT&T or have multi carrier support to please post them here. It would help since the AT&T Note 3 forum is pretty much empty. Much appreciated!

Hi all,
I am very new to this note 3 section coming from HTC one x.
My question is why roms from android development section(note3) are not working in exynos. Really surprised with it. It's same device still!! Why rom developers not considering exynos device also?

What happened to quick glance? I can't find it on my Note 4. I'm on Verizon.
quick glance & gestures are all gone.I think they have reserved it for s series phones probably due to success of note series & failure of s5

I'm from Mexico, plan to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S5 and found the SM-G900M variant for $9000 pesos at Best Buy. However, after some research it seems like it's an American variant (I've seen Verizon Galaxy S4s from Telcel for sale here) that does not have CyanogenMod. The CyanogenMod wiki just lists the officially supported variant as "klte" and looking online I couldn't find its codename.
Is there ClockworkMod and CyanogenMod for the SM-G900M variant? And if there isn't, which is the officially supported variant's codename as displayed in the Phone information menu?

From my experience I will never buy a phone from USA or any USA variant. My first smartphone was a Galaxy S from USA and it was a total mess. Lack of updates comparing to the international variant. So my advice is to look for an international variant. As for CM12 and development just check their site.

Well, looking online it does appears to be an international variant. gsmarena lists it as the Vodafone variant. It's just that information on this model and CyanogenMod is so incredibly scarce I think I'm actually going to be paving the road here.
Either way, it looks like I will be able to install CyanogenMod on it. Time to cross my fingers...
Well, looks like I found it: THERE IS CYANOGENMOD FOR THE SM-G900M.

Googling "klteub CyanogenMod" brings me to this official release thread here on XDA confirming the same:
