I'm getting my ultra soon, so I can let you know. I think it is more than sufficient.

I use a a Sandisk 64gb Ultra in both my GoPro Hero 3 BE and my GN3. I record a lot of motorcycle rides, events and other things
Never a problem.

I also use a SanDisk Ultra 64gb but had mixed results.
The card usually performs great (half-full) but I have seen 2 types of issues, probably tied to the water-damage on my S4 and now trying to see how it lives on a Note 3 (which has the infamous boot-loop issue, apparently solvable by triggering a reboot through recovery).
My old device randomly ejects the card (especially during intensive access, like Spotify reading cache) and can also popup a write error message when copying files through Solid Explorer : when this happens the data will be lost and on reboot the card reverts to it's last state.
If, after a few weeks, it still works fine on the Note 3, I will try to update this feedback with results.

I received my card and did few videos, both 1080p and 4k. Zero issues so far. Will do some more action shots when I have a chance.

How much space does it take a 5min 4K video on the sd card?

Considering a focus just for music.

I love my zune, but it died. So, I was kicking around getting a focus and using a 32 gb card as a replacement for the zune. Has anyone done this? Would you do it? I was wondering if there is any issues with playing music from the sdcard. Thanks for your answers.

I have a Focus with a 32 GB microSD card and works fine, no issues of any kind. As long as the card is listed in the Focus wiki working card list, you're fine.
Thanks.

Gallery lag

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, every time I go open gallery I wait a good 5-8 secs for it to open. It's driving me bonkers

I've seen multiple reports on this issue. I think the best you can do is wait for an update

Try using a better micro sd card? I'm using class 10 on my I9505 and loads perfectly fine.
I'm pretty sure mine is a good one I'll check.it's that ad card that's red and grey

Wife has same sd card in s3 and no lag when opening gallery

I have the same issue and have tried a class 10 sandisk and class 4 samsung memory card.
OP, this is the answer I posted in the other thread you asked the question in...

Here's what happens to me with Gallery lag on my N2 and Note 10.1. When I'm connected to my home Wi-Fi network I get equal Gallery lag on both devices occasionally but it's never consistent. I just tried it on my N2 connected to my home network and today it's fine. If I'm on a non-home Wi-Fi network I don't get any lag and it also doesn't happen on HSPA. My theory is that because my home network has a ton of media across multiple PCs and a server the lag is the Gallery trying to pull all the content in and index it. The Gallery may also identify the most connected network as "home" and treat it differently from an indexing perspective. There could also be an update timer that periodically re-indexes all the content on the network which would explain why it's not consistent. Just my guess; YMMV.

Does it happen to you all the time or occasionally? It has something to do with indexing and the Gallery because it's not unique to the SGS4 and reported on all the Samsung forums. I've never had it happen off my home network but that doesn't mean it couldn't.
No not all the time, it's like every third time I open it then it is slow to open, just real frustrating.
Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk 2
It might be better if everyone used a separate gallery app such as quick pic, its very good and fast!
Wow and lol totally forgot all about quick pic, thank you that will keep me happy till Samsung gets there crap together.

Zero lag on mine, and I'm only using a hokey class 4 32GB external microSD...
I miss SONY Xperia Z's gallery, it works just perfectly.

And another one kingston 32gb gone, but this one on xperia tablet z, and sandisk 64GB on it's way to be corrupted this is some android problem, found that xperia z is also consuming mem cards, sammy s4 and note 2 are eating sd cards, and only common point is that they all have android 4.1 and higher...

How to fix wake up lag

If you are annoyed at the 2+ second wake up lag with the note 3, you can fix it by removing the sd card from the device. sounds weird but it works.
Or you could just disable media scanner.
Sent from my Galaxy Note 3, using XDA Premium 4.
I don't have an SD card installed and see the lag.

This lag sucks! Is there anything else i can do to fix this?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I've used Rescan Media on other phones to keep the phone from scanning the SD card on every boot. I don't know if it'll work on the Note 3, but the phone is fast enough that I don't mind the 2 second lag. (The shortest lag I ever ran into that cost a life was well over 10 seconds. If takes me 2 seconds more to call 911, I don't think anyone's going to die.)
So every time you wake the device it takes 2s? Did it do this out of the box? I doubt it; so I'd suspect it's an app issue, or you've installed a bunch of wonky xposed modules or something.
My phone is stock for the most part. Haven't rooted the phone (killing me btw) but i did install your normal apps.
It lags from time to time and it does bother me. It shouldn't lag like that.

I unchecked Wake Up Command option in Lock screen settings and lag actually disappeared and hasn't come back.

Have that turned off as well. Can't be that
This same thing existed on the note 2. It was always said that it was due to the exynos going into such a deep sleep that it took a second or 2 to gather itself and wake up so to say. Someone made an app that would keep a constant wake lock so it wouldn't sleep. Obviously you can guess the side effects but it did work.

So, is it possible that it is the button lagging?
I notice a little lag when trying to wake my phone but I also notice lag elsewhere. After the home button is pressed there is a small delay before getting to your launcher. The menu button also has a delay when opening the menu (wallpaper, manage apps etc) on launcher.

Now it lags when trying to end a call. I tried what I can but not sure what else i can do. I would like to resolve this
I call Att and they put me in touch with samsugn support she suggested sending it to them for them to check it out but i would be without a phone for a week or so.
Not sure

Ok, not 100÷ yet but thanks to someone else i may have found a solution.
He suggested that the problem comes from the sd card you use. He stated that he removed his old card and got a sandisk and it fixed the issue for him
I had my old pny 32gb card in but it has been giving me problems for a while. The note 3 was not reading it ( was at 1st)
So i took the card out and so far the lag is gone. Both on the lock screen and end call
Ill keep testing but so far there is a change. Weird.
I'm going to pick up a new card(have too) so lets see

No SD card here and it lags. Can't be it. That might help if using an SD card but not a full solution as there's last without one as well.

Well it has helped me. Since i took out my sd my phone hasn't lagged like before.
Even though it is the same phone each make act different. As an example, the guy got a SanDisk card and he was fine. May not work for my phone. So far removing the card helped me.
Shouldn't be like this. Our phones should all work perfectly but that is not the case. With this phone and others i have had in the past.

Still no lag and battery seems to be better as well, unlike before

I just hope then the new sd card i get works well

Must be an issue with the earlier release models. I got mine less than a month ago and has a 32GB PNY card and no issues whatsoever. In fact it has NONE OF THE ISSUES stated in any of the threads on this site. If I press the wake button, bam! there it is. So this must be an issue for you early buyers.
I got my note 3 about 3 weeks ago. Dont know what model it is because i haven't looked.
My previous sd was given me problems before, had to reformat it twice and when I took it out it wasn't working. So maybe that was the issue.
I have a SanDisk card coming so lets see how that goes.

[Q] Note 3 force closing large games?!?!?!?!

Hi all,
For some reason my N900A Note 3 has been force closing large apps like Asphalt 8 and Real Racing 3. When this occurs, I don't even get into the game; it just rotates the orientation of the phone and quickly force closes and gives me an error message. My phone is running KNOXRAID 4.4.2. Could this be because I don't have an micro SD card? (I have more than enough internal storage though...)
Thanks in advance.

Sd card could be tye reason because large games download data files when you start them first time and I think its done in sd card.
