I have the note 10.1 and find the formula function useful, anyway to get it on the s4? I have the note keyboard with the handwriting function so I figured it shouldn't be too hard

Hi just wondered if there is a keyboard available for the nexus 4 as mine is on route, that is similar to the Galaxy s3 as I remember from my old Galaxy Nexus the digits are too small and i dont think it has a predictive option and I don't particularly like swift key. Ant suggestions are welcome
Thank you

I guess that's something we'll get with the next update (hopefully). That is assuming it's got to do with camera rather than any other sensors.
I don't think airview will work well with your finger as your finger or a capasitive stylus requires too much real estate to register. Where the s-pen can be very selective due to it's size.
This has been made on some devices, but I'm not sure the Note II's screen is compatible.
As far as I know the Spen has an onboard transducer that communicates with the phone, so unless you embed a transducer in your finger it's not gonna happen anytime soon.....lol.
I think he means the same feature on s4.
It should be possible for the note 2 as well unless the screen technology on s4 is something completely new.

My apologies - I did'nt know the S4 could do that, but I'm pretty sure the note 2 talks to a transducer in the Spen - read it somewhere.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get a s-pen to work in the Galaxy S4 sgh-I337? Please let me know, this is one thing i miss so muvh as well as S Note. You don't realize hiw important it is once you don't have access to it anymore.

This is the wrong thread for your question but to answer it, unfortunately no there isn't a way to get the s-pen to work like it did on your note. The S4 doesn't have the digitizer to for it. Your best bet for a stylus would be a capacitance one.

l used to be able to use the spen from my Note 10.1(2014) and my note3 interchangeably. Somehow I am no longer able to do this anymore. pretty annoying if you own both devices. Anybody figure out how to enable this again?

Have you disabled pen detection when S Pen is in its slot in the settings? That's an energy saving feature I guess but obviously you don't want it if you use another stylus.
Ah that's it! I overlooked that option it seems. It would also explain why it would work when the spen is out of its bay
