Can someone please help me. I picked up my new Note 3 yesterday, the box says 2.3ghz CPU so do I have the regular one, or the exynos (spelling) one? Not sure how to check so I can download mods for it
Thanks in advance

Your is Snapdragon, don't touch anything related to Exynos.
Your signature is telling you, yours is Snapdragon Edition.
Install CPU-Z if you want more information on it - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpuid.cpu_z&hl=en
Okay brilliant. Thank you

Snapdragon ( http://www.qualcomm.eu/uk/snapdragon/processors/800 ), Easier way to determine your model is check model number and look. Also back of your box says what it is (if it's 2.3GHZ it's snapdragon)

I read some information on the site that we SamMobile update to version 5.0 on the next event in the google IO 2014
Seems kind of strange that they are using a registered trademark......something doesn't seem right there.
May I say, Kitkat is a highly tasteful confectionery.

Also makes for a better logo.
But it makes me kind of sad about the original idea of famous robots which they abandoned precisely for trademark reasons. That would've been much cooler.

lol... at the rate it's going I think they'll just keep "jumping" until it gets to 5, then give up on the s3
well, there's no 5.0 & klp yet but still 4.4 named kitkat..
the good news is the main goal to make it available for everybody, even with 512 ram & single core...
i think seeder will be merged.. =D

I'm looking at putting a custom ROM on my Note 3 (Canada). One major thing for me to have is the ability to use bluetooth tethering and to keep all s-pen functionality. In other words I still want it to be a Note device. Any ideas?

I don't think most of the snapdragon roms from that link you posted work for the Canadian version of the Note 3.......
try here - just browse around and see, they vary an awful lot

Glad you got sorted.
Hi All,
Still confused with the different processors.
I have purchased from international Seller listed model: SM-G935FD
I have asked them what processor it is and it's snapdragon 820
(Question 1) - Can this be rooted?
I actually requested for Exynos - as that's what we have in Australia..(Question 2)And it seems this version is easier to root?
(Question 3) - can all variants of S7 edge/s7 have different processors?
-very confusing.
(Question 4) - http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ doesn't seem to have model: SM-G935FD - Do I just use SM-G935F - It says: exynos5
(Question 5) - Does that mean if I have snapdrogon processor, I can't use this?!
Appreciate if someone could answer these!
Thanks,
From Australia!
