Okay, so its been a week since I got a Galaxy Note...
I haven't rooted or anything and its running no the firmware is "XXKL3" and baseband is "N7000DDKL1"...
The phone was working completely fine until today morning, whenever someone calls he gets "The number you have dialed is out of coverage area"....
While out going calls work perfectly fine.
So I removed the SIM and put in Vodafone SIM which worked fine in Note....
Then I put the non-working IDEA SIM into another phone and it was working fine too....
Then I put the IDEA SIM back in the Note and I once again had the same problem.
I tried a hard reset from recovery but that didn't work either
Has anyone experienced the same problem?
Any solutions?
On a side note if nothing works out I am planning to flash the phone but the HotFile link for "N7000ODDLA1" is not giving me speeds more than 30 KB/s.... -_-
So, has anyone mirrored the firmware to another file hosting site?
If yes, can someone provide me the link?
If vodafone works n idea not working, means service conflict is there. Check call setting.
Latest version is ddlb2
Go to dev section n find my thread n7000 stock roms, it is sticky thread.

Thank you for your reply Dr. Ketan....
The problem got fixed when I switched to GSM mode....
I was gonna flash it with a stock firmware but I just thought if its getting fixed by switching to GSM Mode let it be.....
I will just flash when Note get the ICS upgrade

Guys I need some SMShelpLOVE.
Im on a s4 sprint, unlocked, using Vodafone uk sim
When using stock I can send a SMS. But using AOKP(slimbean 4.3 v2) I can't send (receive is fine)
I've copied the SMSC from the stock and tried putting it into slim but it doesn't work still!
The SMSC im using is "+44785016005",145
The 145 is ALWAYS added by default at the end and I think that is what's messing it up as it is not used in the stock settings.
Is there a way to prevent that or any other great ideas?
Thanks bro

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I am using CyanogenMod 10.2.1 (Android 4.3)
Additionally I cannot send USSD requests (like *101# for checking the balance)
My carrier is MTS Ukraine (GSM)
Recently I upgraded my phone to CyanogenMod 11 (Android 4.4.2), after this I was able to send sms and ussd requests but I wasn't able to receive incoming calls so I decided to return back to CyanogenMod 10.2.1
Any thoughs about the problem with sending sms?
I managed to get it working using 0791447758100650

Unfortunatelly in my case is does not work. I tried to set SMSC in PDU format (07918350000005F1 for my carrier) and it says "update error"
Ok
After updating from 4.3 to 4.4.2 using this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2614772) method that basically required me to flash over t mobile n9005 firmware onto my phone (I use Rogers n900w8 canadian)
My phone is rooted and I've searched high and low for a solution but to no avail
I can provide any more information if needed
The problem is that I can send mms messages but I can't receive them
I've changed the apn several times according to sever guides most of which are right on the Rogers website
THIS IS NOT AN APN ISSUE
because I can still send them no problem
If it was an apn issue I would get a message saying that the message was unable to send

Is there any way to change info for how phone logs on to tower I'm assuming have to flash prl and APN information just need some help with what else I would need to do. Thank for any help u can provide

I have it backed up and a stock ROM back up as well. I'm presently running priest punch with 0 issues as far as cell phone service goes. Just curious if there was a way to update/change files to use the new xnote v20 and xusto kernal
Bes way I can think to describe it is the custom ROM does not have any sprint info in it need to find a way to update the but with carrier information and flash my phone info into it
Hello XDA Family
I recently flashed G935U Firmware *4API3 over G935T *4APIA, last night to be precise and right off the bat I must say that INDEED IT IS AND FEELS FASTER THAN STOCK *4APIA. You can just UNINSTALL instead of DISABLING bloat apps.
But other than the debloated firmware, what can we get about this Unlocked version? What is so good about it? Why SM-G935U over SM-G935T Firmware?
Pros & cons? Would you go back to stock?
Running September patch.
I'm still on APG1. Do you think it's safe to flash the API3 U firmware over it without taking t-mobiles PIA OTA?
I believe you would get the whitepages and tethering functions back.

this was too good too be true everything works great except for two issues that i see so far the major issue i have is that cant receive any incoming text messages non at all ....and the second issue is not too major for me but it might be for other people there is no video calling icon in the dialer so im assuming that video calling is not working other than those two issues i hate that i have to flash back tmobile firmware but i need to be able to text and receive text i even tried other messaging apps like hangouts and facebook messenger and whatsapp dont work i even tried out allo just to make sure even reset APN setting and reconnected to other towers in my area it all seems hopeless any other ideas are very much welcomed.

No question is dumb my friend.
I downloaded the SM-G935U TMO ....the one for T-Mobile as there is an UNLOCKED version for every US Carrier.
I heard AT&T and T-Mobile are so far the best firmwares of them all.
Try downlading the SM-G935U(ending with *4API3*)
1. Make sure you use the LATEST ODIN VERSION (3.12.3)
2. Latest SAMSUNG USB DRIVERS (v15.61)

Make sure you do a backup of what yoh currenty have, flash the G935U Firmware with ALL THE 4 FILES IN THEIR SLOTS.
After that, make sure to boot into recovery mode menu, wipe cache + data...reboot.
Try it.

If u had an iphone before u have to unlink ur phone number from imessage. Something like that happened to me that was not getting messages and that was the reason
Installed CSC as XAA variant, so far so good isnt laggy as tmo stock will report battery life after few days, text messages, data and calls are working fine.
Thank you OP
Maybe add the correct APN? for msg?
