Hi, I have a weird problem with my i9505 lately. After I fully charged over night and I pull it off the charger it won't go into deep sleep. Wakelock Detector doesn't show any wakelocks but it shows 100% awake. CPU Spy shows that it stays awake at 384 Mhz. After I reboot the phone everything is fine. I'm on CM 10.2 nightlys.

Someone have the same issue?

Yes. Mine is too. and i haven't figured out why.
Mine seems to stay awake (according to the battery graph) if it's plugged in to the dock.
What do you mean by deep sleep, there's only 1 sleep mode and that's when the screen simply dims off yes?
If you install cpuspy, deep sleep is one of the cpu frequencies (i guess) that is lower than 216 mhz. Mine seems to be stuck at 216 instead of deep sleep whem i turn off the screen.

+1 for not entering Deep Sleep. I'm running 3.2.1 ... and I did notice that my TF did enter Deep Sleep some time; but just turning off the display doesn't enter deep sleep.
Did anyone figure out why Deep Sleep is not being entered, or what does it take to enter Deep Sleep?
Hi,
I'm onto Kyrillos 5.2 and FUGUmod 2.4 beta 3 - 800 mhz.
I got setcpu OnDemand, 333 800.
I got Pimp my CPU , just lowered voltage to -100 on 333 and 800 mhz.
Everything was fine, battery life excellent, I was happy...
One night battery was on 60% in the morning battery 0% ?? No wifi, no gps etc..
Ok I didn't delete battery stats in Recovery so I did that and now should be fine I said...
Again massive drainage during night. Hmm maybe Tasker or some other stuff.
I disabled tasker and everything and downloaded powertutor and some other applications to check what is eating battery. I could not find anything suspicious.
Everything should be fine. I noticed in CPUspy that my phone goes 333, 800 but never hits Deep Sleep mode.
Is that the reason for battery drain? How to enable deep sleep mode, in Setcpu and Pimp my Cpu there is no option for that and I guess 83 mhz is not Deep Sleep.
Does anyone know what is going on?
I cannot recall my memory did I had deepsleep before in CPUspy but I think I did....
Services running :
3g watchdog
Tasker,
TaskManager,
Missed calls widget
Switchpro
Touchdown
Devicemanagement
Android core apps
DRM portected
SNS
SlideIt
There are no new application , these were before darinage.
Thank you!!!
edit: I think I played with setCPU and pimpmycpu that night problems started, but I think now everything should be fine but maybe it is not is device is not entering sleep, so how to enable deep sleep again if that is the problem?
edit2: Well I played with SetPCU, enable profile to go to 83mhz , and all of the sudden I could see DeepSleep in CPUSpy. Then I returned to 800 300, turned off profiles and now I got Deepsleep. dont know what happened, probably I set similar values with Pimp My CPU which messed something.... Pimp my CPU also has min and max so probably I messed something I think with changing settings there.
edit3: Great, Deepsleep is gone again, I didnt restart or do nothing. Just noticed phone does not goes to deepsleep again. Tried messing with profile, moving bar left right but no use... Now instead deepsleep i got 83 mhz .... when messed before I got deepsleep, now only 83 mhz.... All I did was turn on 3g ( now turned off), used vtok and thats it.
can someone explain what is going on here?
edit4: Vtok is preventing device to go into deep sleep, I killed service and now bam, I got deep sleep... great just great...
I am on the latest Slim Bean with Franco R31 and no matter what governor/min/max I set it does not go into deep sleep. How can I find out which program is causing this?
BetterBatteryStats

Install and set up the app, charge your phone, unplug it and don't use it for 4-5 hrs (overnight is even better), check the results. If you can't identify what's keeping your phone awake pull a log with the app, post it in the thread and ask for help.
My (stock) Nexus 4 never goes in to deep sleep despite the Android battery thingy showing nothing (or very little) awake time. My Xperia S was always awake according to the same thing but entered deep sleep readily

I had this problem. I found that it was a live wallpaper that was keeping the phone from going into deep sleep. As soon as I switched to a standard wallpaper I was able to get 70% deep sleep whilst previously it never went into deep sleep.
Hope this helps

Another recommended app Wakelock Detector at Google Play
Hello XDA members! I have recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337M Telus/Koodo a few days ago on a website similar to Craigslist but better (Kijiji). I got it unlocked and updated it Android 4.3 not rooted.
Anyways, my phone battery is really bad. Yesterday night, the battery was at 47% when I went to sleep. No apps were running except my SMS app and WakeLock Detector. The wifi was turned off, the Power Saving Mode was on and the brightness was set to its lowest. This morrning when I woke up, the phone was at 19%, so it lost 28% in about 8.5 hours while in standby mode. I tried the app Deep Sleep Battery Saver but it doesn't seem to work very well. When I check WakeLock Detector stats, the Deep Sleep time is always at 0.0 seconds; therefore, my phone has NEVER entered in Deep Sleep mode Help please?
Somoeone help pleaseeeee?
Did you read the app description? If you turn off WiFI and enable Power Saving mode, it block WIFI and Mobile DATA then the app cannot put your device in deepsleep.
Description:
During deep sleep mode, Wifi, 3G are turned off, background apps are stopped. Therefore, most apps are not working, including Facebook, Google Service, etc,. It then constantly wakes up in order to download email, sync Facebook status, etc,.
I can't really help you for the batt drain unless you could root your device to get more information from CPU: twist Process setting or buy another app on the playstore to monitor your battery drain like BetterBatteryStats.
Just wondering if this is normal.
Betterbatterystats has these two wakelocks absolutely killing my battery: GCM_CONN and GCM_CONN_ALARM
These account for 98% of the wakelocks on my phone.
I'm not even sure what they do but my CPU is always stuck in 300 Mhz 98% of the time even overnight. I get about 5-6% drain overnight because my CPU doesn't go to deep sleep mode. CPU Spy says that it is in 300 mhz 98% of the time.
I'm not really sure how to fix this or what I need to disable. Any ideas?
