When I migrated all my galaxy nexus apps over to my nexus 10 I didn't realize that the modded official nexus 4 keyboard I zip installed with clockwork would carry over and overwrite my default android keyboard on my nexus 10. As a result, in attempting to update to 4.2.1, I get an update failure due to a file check on the latinimegoogle.apk file.
Could somebody extract with root explorer the stock file for 4.2 galaxy 10 and then provide the link? I'm thinking if I adb 466 chmod push this, the update will see the expected file present and allow the update to pass.
Could somebody lend a hand and provide the stock file? Alternatively, I can download the stock tgz f recoveryile from Google, but I have no idea how I could virtually compile/ mount that and extract out the latinimegoogle.apk file I need.
Hey,
seems like I broke my apps folder since my stock nexus 4 can't update to 4.2.1 because I deleted some of the system apps over Titanium Backup - it's missing the .odex files:
assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/Gmail2.odex", "9e14[...]795", "1829968[...]7a13")
I wanted to flash JOP40C 4.2, but Google only offers 4.2.1 on their servers and I don't want to wipe my phone.
Could someone upload the stock rom? Or the complete /system/app/ folder when someone is still on 4.2 stock.
Greetings
This is the name of JOP40C 4.2, use google

So as the title says. I am trying to update to 4.3 and noticed there was a zip file in the *tgz that I downloaded. This zip file contained all the *.img files it looks like I would need.
Can i just flash it using clockwork?
Thanks in advance!
No, you have to go to the bootloader with it unlocked and run Flash-all.bat on Windows.
If you are coming from stock 4.2.2 then you can remove the -w flag from the batch script.

I got it thanks no worries.
Anyone needing to replace the debuggerd file first, due to StickMount, please find attached:
The processed explained too me by user db2 from Nexus 7 forum and used by me is the following:

The attached file is for Nexus 10 running Android 4.3 and would like to update the security OTA

While trying to flash KOT49E OTA zip file update using TWRP from KRT16S to KOT49E, process failed with an error like:
"/system/bin/debuggerd" has unexpected contents."
I have not modified the system partition. I have ROOT access. Not sure which app modified the file. I am using "USB OTG HELPER" app and not StickMount app. There is "/system/bin/debuggerd_bak" file present but it is exactly same as "/system/bin/debuggerd".
Can somebody, please post original debuggerd file from KRT16S image?
Got the KRT16S debuggerd file from thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2534698. Replaced it in the Nexus 7 2013 "/system/bin" folder and flashed the KOT49E OTA zip. Successfully updated to KOT49E.
Thanks a lot to sfhub.
