[Q] cant get passed recovery - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
there seems to be an issue with my nexus 10 after having installed a rom which failed. The rom itself does not boot up, so i have no recovery/alternative roms in my storage. so im stuck on the google logo, whereupon it will book back into recover.
How can I send a a rom to my storage in nexus 10 through my pc; keeping in mind that my nexus 10 is stuck in recovery mode.. cwm recovery 6.0.3.1.

My vote is to flash the stock image available here and start again -
Or if you can get to cmw you can "adb push rom.zip /sdcard/download" and then attempt to flash from recovery the newly pushed file

[Q] stuck in boot loop after flash

I tried to flash cyanogenmod onto my vodafone 32B HTC Magic and now it's stuck on a boot loop. I rooted it with super one click, then used amon-ra recovery to load up cyanogenmod. It got to the vodafone red screen then just keeps restarting once every 20 secs or so. I suspect it's because I didn't do a full wipe before flashing, I only clearled dalvik cache. So I tried booting up to recovery but amon-ra isn't loading up and its going back to the android default recovery, which I cant use to reflash another rom. I can't communicate with the phone via ADB (does not recognise device). fastboot can recognise the phone but I can't push anything onto it since I didn't update my SPL (it's at s-on).
So is there any way for me to get amon-ra recovery back onto it or otherwise boot up my phone again?
Find a sappimg.zip and flash that and start over is what I would suggest
I concur :0)

Cannot access recovery

I really hope someone can help me out. I think I bricked my phone.
I tried to recover my phone back to stock with stock recovery so I can send it in for repair. When I installed 2.3.4 OTA update through zip, I accidentally clicked yes for updating 2.3.6. I didn't know, went to washroom and my phone won't boot. I thought no worries I'll install the zip again. Going into recovery, there's an android picture with an exclamation mark. I can't boot into phone and cannot load recovery. Someone please help >_<
download CWM and try to flash it through fastboot, and use that to flash a new img. im assuming you've done this before, having a custom recovery before now. if not, make sure you have fastboot setup, and if you don't go look through a rooting guide how to set it up then once you have it set up, move the new recovery you downloaded to the same folder as fastboot, then type
fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery
of course replace the name_of_recovery with the exact filename of the recovery you downloaded. you can get the ClockworkMod recovery I think at www.clockworkmod.com
then boot into the new recovery and go to Mounts and Storage and Mount USB, and take the update.zip that you have and load it onto your SD Card, then go into the recovery and do as you would to flash the zip
Problem is, I don't think usb debugged was enabled. I tried to lock bootloader so I can just take it back to my carrier and say phone is screwed up, but when I tried, it said device not found.
The only way I think is using odin.

Stuck at X logo

I recently just picked up a nexus 4 and i'm trying to get a custom ROM on it. I updated it to 4.3 and that was fine. Went to install custom recovery and every since it will not boot! I've reverted to factory 4.3 using fastboot, and relocked it and locked it but still will not boot. It gets stuck at the X logo. Left it for an hour and won't get past it. If i install a custom recovery, it'll boot into the custom recovery no problem, but won't install root as it can't mount the SD card. I can get to fastboot mode no problem and flash stuff in fastboot but will never boot up. I'm puzzled as to what to do. I'm going to try 4.2.2 factory image here shortly and see if i can get it to take. I forgot to enable USB debugging so i think thats why i can't get custom recoveries to work. I tried pushing a ROM using ADB push but it wouldn't get there. Maybe it did as it said it did on the computer but the recovery won't read the memory. Any ideas as to what to do
UPDATE: Ok after flashing stock 4.2.2 from fastboot it boots.
UPDATE: turns out just having USB debugging was the culprit of everything. So make sure USB debugging is enabled before starting the whole process!

Boot loop after trying to install CM

Hello, I could us a little assistance. I was trying to install CM on my new Verizon LG G2 (VS980). I was able to root using ioroot, dump aboot.img, lokify CWM 6.0.4.4, loki_flash the recovery, and boot into CWM. When I tried to sideload the CM 10.2 image, I got some error about unable to lokify boot (it was missing /system/bin/loki.sh). It looks like the problem is that the pre CM 11 images have an old version of loki that fails regularly. It said it had aborted the installation, but something got totally hosed, as when I attempted to reboot, I got into a "secure boot unsuccessful" loop. I've made a verison of the CM 10.2 zip with the latest version of loki_patch and loki_flash from github, but I can't seem to get into recovery using the buttons (might be doing it wrong as the only time I went into recovery I just did adb reboot recovery) to try flashing another rom or return to stock. I can get in to download mode by holding up during boot, but I don't have easy access to a non-linux machine to use the lg mobile support tool. Is there any way to return to stock without a windows computer?
Edit:
Update, I was able to get back into recovery by unplugging the USB (apparently it doesn't like to boot into recovery if the USB cable is connected). Installed my patched CM 10.2 and everything worked like a champ.

how did you patch cm 10.2

I think I've bricked my device Nexus. No OS and won't boot into Recovery.

I didn't know what I was doing using the TWRP and I've formatted the entire device. Including my SDCard where my Roms and Backups were stored. So now my nexus is without an OS. This generally wouldn't be a problem since I can 'mount' the device in recovery mode and transfer a new Rom .zip to my sdcard and then flash it, however... now my phone won't go into recovery either. When I get in the Fastboot, select Recovery and hit Power, it shows the Google logo and just freezes. For good. So I'm unable to get into Recovery.
(Side note: for whatever reason, I haven't been able to get into Recovery using this method for a VERY long time. I end up having to use Rom Manager to get into Recovery, and it went into recovery every time doing that.)
Any help, please?
