Hey there,
seems that Google didn't remove AppOps as they claimed.

Hi folks,
I've posted about this in the Hero forum some time back, but I'm rocking the Desire now and I hope that you might have use for it as well. I've tried to gather the top free apps Android has to offer, with descriptions, links back to the developers' websites, QR codes and hands-on videos. It's currently more than a 100 apps divided in 11 categories, and I always try to keep the list up-to-date.
What do you guys think of it? Any ideas on how I can improve the guide? Did I miss to include any great apps?

nice
Nice list, i really liked Buzz Deck and issuu
Have made some major updates to the top free Android apps guide, and it now includes the best widgets and live wallpapers as well. There are of course some good apps missing, but it should be pretty complete and up-to-date.
Running isn't the only form of working out.
JEFit is a fantastic weight lifting application.
VPlayer is a great video player for playing non-native video formats and is vastly superior to rockplayer.
Colornote is a good notes application.
Movies is fantastic if you're into cinema.
thnx 4 ur effort=)
found a few nice apps, also saw some I already had.
thanks
Great idea, thanks. I honestly read these and find them helpful from time to time, which says a lot since I ignore the vast majority of typical low quality internet publications in general.
Nru is another AR app similar to Layar.

Thanks found some nice apps
Thanks found some nice apps, very useful links.
Guys I asked for help:
At first version of jetAudio Plus they included BBE / ViVa effects for their apps but for some reason they decided to HIDE it from user. Can someone whom legally have the apps able to modded to enable these effects ? If someone able to do that please just tell me how to do that, don't share your apk. I have the license for this app and would do the patch by myself.

In my opinion. If you really really bought the app legally, I think it would be alright for you to find the "modded jetaudio plus apk" off other websites. You already supported the dev so I don't see why not.
I really don't see why this would be considered as piracy given that you have made a purchase.
Yeah I can find one but they seems have slower update rate rather than official one. If I can modded by myself it would be awesome, just IMO
Thanks anyway
Yeah, I suppose so. Perhaps you could contact those "modders"
No answer either

I just purchased the Plus version as well and I can't find the BBE/ViVA option either.
I know... I following jetAudio from very beginning which offer that sound effect for 10 second only (basic version, there is no plus version atm)
Somehow after their release plus version I purchase and realize the sound effect is removed/hidden. I'm really disappointed with their decision, but in some 'site' I saw a modded version which enabling those sound effect. It's give a hope but ... its a fake... I realized that were fake mod.
@mod: please close this thread...

I'll feedback some on your marketing and Google Play page, not the actual app:
First if all you misspelled the name of the app in your post here, so it was kind of hard to find it. I finally understood the name is Pie-It, not Pielt or Pieit. So uh, might consider that in your marketing. Pieit is very hard to understand what it is, while Pie-It makes complete sense. Small but important difference.
Besides that I like the idea and the user interface design. I would probably try to add some color to the icon though so it stands out a little more. I get it follow the same design as the UI, but I think you could make the grey part green or something (like you do in the app) and it would still fit nicely.

Good find
Whatsapp plus has material design and you can tweak pretty much all ui elements however you like and seem to be more stable too... just saying..
man.. that effect when we send a messenger... like the whatsapp of the iphone... do you know how to put? ( sorry my poor english ^^' )
I get 'the requested url is not found on this server' ??
So... Will it be taken as an unofficial app by WhatsApp's servers?
I mean, recently some users have been banned of WPP for 24 hours because they were using modded clients like this.
Yes, I have read it somewhere. I'm afraid we cannot use this app anymore, whatsapp won't allow other whatsapp clients than there own, sadly. That's probably why the developer has stopped developing this version. If you still use it I suggest you take a deep breath, look at the app and all its beauty one last time and delete it, replacing it with the original whatsapp. All we can do is hope whatsapp will learn that this is the way to make their app look best and that they will adapt some of the material design features seen here...
Edit: this is where I read it: http://androidworld.nl/apps/whatsappmd-stopt/ (it's in Dutch)
So just for the sake of sanity.. I wanted to see if the Package Debloater Pro on the Play store was as good as the Debloater by Gatesjunior"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/debloater-remove-carrier-bloat-t2998294
and my gut feeling was right.. It doesn't catch nearly as much as the Debloater by Gatesjunior.
If youre on the fence about buying the App.. save your money and donate to the guy on the link. and use his program of course.
This was just doing search for KNOX and look at all the green packages that App missed
