[Q] Boot loop after different custom ROMs - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

We have another brand new Galaxy Y.
The first two Galaxy Y are flashed with Creeds 3.1.
So I want to flash this ROM, but always after flashing the new ROM, I get a boot loop.
I tested three different Creeds ROM and two different CyanogenMods.
I always see the boot animation again and again.
I tried all I know: Mount all drives, wipe all data, but nothing helps.
What can I do?
Gerd
Or do you need more information?

Ok. That should not happen as u tried everything.
first download any old firmware from Doky sir's thread (like DDLF/ DXLF). then root ur phone.
Then try flashing custom roms as some roms are based on older firmware.

format system data cache in cwm then mount system data cache then flash the rom zip
this is for stock based roms
if using cm based roms you have to flash percys or black reactor kernel first then reboot to recovery and do above
you can always change your stock rom baseband by flashing a different stock rom if you have problems
gt-s5360
i have tried jelly blast not the v3 and its now flash
thanks
Sorry if i am rude but this guy gave me heart attack in my knees !!

[Q] Constant Recover Boot Loop After ANY Rom Flash

Hello all,
This is my first time posting, but I rely on these forums for many questions, and it has always served me well. My issue is this... I am new to flashing custom roms, although not new to rooting. I follow every step of each instruction, even using the preferred (by developer) recover app. But after installation, when it does the first reboot, the phone reboots to the screen before the recovery menu, the reboots again and again. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have tried different suggestions (delete cache/dalvik/user date more than once) among trying multiple rom's. Is this a normal issue? Is this fixable or just user (me) error? I can always get to download screen and re-flash the stock, and things work fine, but any custom rom seems to get stuck in recovery bootloop. Thanks in advance for the help.

The roms I am trying to use state they are for Kitkat build, for T-mobile Note 3 ***900T.

OK, yes I followed that guide. Even tried the extra guide on that thread on page 3, but still does the same thing. Constant bootloop showing the seandroid is not enforcing in red and something else below it. It doesn't read recovery in blue at the top, but that's the screen. I can go back into recovery using vol up and home, but will never boot the os or rom i flashed, until I reflash the stock rom. There has to be something I am missing. :?

If you're successful in rooting and flashing Phil's CWM, maybe try flashing a custom rom again followed by a kernel like this one. Out of curiosity, which rom have you tried to flash?
Smasher x was the last one I tried for 4.2.2

I might be wrong but that one although is Kitkat needs a 4.3 bootloader where you have 4.4.2 which is why it's bootlooping. Try a newer aosp or the like that are recent that supports both 4.3 and 4.4.2 bootloader.
That makes sense. Do you have a link to a list of some sort where I can find such a thing?

WO3 Slim, Heisenberg are just a couple of roms which can be found in the android dev section of tmobile. Just have to make sure you read in the feature section if it supports 4.4.2 bootloader which most recent cyanogen, aosp, etc... supports.

Yes, it should work. But this rom is TW based so the GUI is the same as the one you see on your phone now unlike the aosp/aokp/cyanogen which have a GUI like those from Google stock roms.

I9505 KT-SGS4 won't boot

Hi!
After months of using my S4, I decided to flash custom ROM and kernel. Unfortunately, after flashing KT-SGS4 kernel, my phone gets stuck in Galaxy S4 logo and keeps flashing blue LED. I've tried using CM11 and AOKP, same results.
I hope, someone know how to fix it, thanks!

You have to factory reset when installing a custom rom

I know, I'm always doing cache and data wipe. Roms are working correctly, but when i try to change kernel, this happens.
Then you are flashing the wrong kernel. There are 3 different types of that kernel.

I tried all of them in case if this one was wrong, maybe if there is said aosp, aokp is out of reach.

[Q] Problem after flash kernel

Hi Guys,
As you can see, I am new to this site. My phone is S4 19505. Yesterday, I tried to root my phone and that was a succes. Problem began when I want to install kernel for longer battery life. I have installed kernel from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2297379 and I have chosen Touchwiz KitKat 4.4 version. After I flashed this kernel my s4 is not starting. It just stuck at first screen "where we get first white letters samsung galaxy s4".
I have no idea what to do now.
Can anyone please help me?
Advance thanks.

twrp. I dont know what you mean by stock rom because this is my first time I did. My device is running 4.4.2. and I chose for kernel 4.4 version of tw.
I think that you have to re-flash a new rom. Then, you have to retry installing root and the kernel.

I agree with msmlz, if you have nandroid restore it or download the firmware in sammobile and reflash it and before flashing the custom kernel again, read the thread, see if someone face bootloop like you. Hope someone with experience on it could help you, I never install custom kernel, just update the last stock kernel on my rooted stock rom.
