Difference Between N9000 & N9005? and Lte versions - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I will apologise in advance for this question, but I need to know before I buy the note 3 i9005, I need to know what are the major differences between the N9000 and the N9005 an the lte versions, are there any major differences between these models and being from scotland is there any I should avoid buying being from the uk? I didnt see this question anywhere else I did check in case I was repeating a question already asked.
Thank you for any help given.

i am confused which model to buy

I am so confused which is better N9000 or N9005, which one is the phone that will get most dev support and custom roms,
please don't ridicule me as I read all threads and still am confused which one is the best version
I live in Israel so I assume I need to have the international version so whic one is it N9000 or N9005
I hope things will not be a mess for us as the N3 has so many different versions that confuses the hell out of regular users.
I think it will be quite an interesting forum and I hope we will not end up in a big mess due to different versions of N3
Here are all the variants:
SM-N9002 Dual Sim variant for Chinese Market
SM-N9005 LTE variant
SM-N900K for KT Telecom South Korea
SM-N900L for LGU+ South Korea
SM-N900S for SK Telecom South Korea
SM-N900A for AT&T United States
SM-N900T for T-Mobile USA
SM-N900V for Verizon Wireless
SM-N900,International variant
SLC22 for KDDI AU Japan
SGH-N075 and SGH-N099 for NTT Docomo Japan
So does this mean that N9005 will be international LTE and will have the most dev support on this forum?????
Will N9005 works with Tmobile LTE? If yes, then I will go get one on ebay and cancel my preorder with T-mobile.

If you are referring to the same exact model here: http://negricare.negrielectronics.c.../2355825-samsung-n9-5-galaxy-note-3-32gb-lte-
It only supports 2g on T-mobile
From my reading in different links i can understand the following :
N9000
----------
LTE = NO
CPU = 1.9 Mhz Octa ( 8 core processer ).
GPU = ARM Mali-T628 MP6
--------------
N9005
---------
LTE = YES
CPU = Quad 2.3 Mhz ( 4 core processor ) .
GPU =Adreno 330
Video Recording 4 times better than N9000.
============
Other Specs same
Highlight:
1- N9000 Faster than N9005.
2- N9000 save much battery than N9005.
Please guys correct my understanding if i am wrong ,
It will not work on T-Mobile lte, just like the international S3 and S4 lte models it will only get edge so if you want to use it on T-Mobile expect 2g web

The 9000 will support T-Mobile's 1900/2100 frequency which is used for 3G/faux G.

i go back and forth to israel but i don't understand the frequency/speed differences both here & there. with respect to the data
speeds, which note3 will work best in both israel and USA?
From what I have gathered having the Snapdragon chipset variant will probably get you more dev support since Exynos chips are closed off.
Well that's also another factor as Samsung doesn't like to is very slow to release the sources for their processors.

I don't think I've seen a single shred of evidence to suggest that the Octacore Exynos is either more battery efficient, or more "powerful" than the Snapdragon S800. In fact, if anything, the complete reverse is true.

Indeed! Now to find out which is truly the best then the only way is to have a side by side comparison of those two to see how they perform and what battery life consume!

[Q] Galaxy Note 3 - Which to buy for Bell Canada?

Hello, I am new to the xda forums and I thought I'd ask you knowledgeable folk about my dilemma. I currently live in Canada and am going to purchase an unlocked Galaxy Note 3 from Negri Electronics. I was about to buy the N9005, I presume that works on Bell's LTE service correct? Because I saw also on the site a Samsung N900W8 Galaxy Note 3 LTE 32GB (Bell) (Unlocked).. which confused me. Will the n9005 work on my LTE network or do I have to buy the second one? Thank you.
you need LTE on 1700MHz/AWS for Bell... N9005 does not this.
N900W8 is better if you want LTE

[Q] To those using N9005 on TMO

Unfortunately, US carriers don't want to carry the pink note so I had to import a pink N9005 from australia , I did not want the Exynos variant from newegg.
I've already seen previous threads regarding the use of the N9005 on TMO and none were very clear. Basically, Are you getting proper connection? Have you tried flashing the TMO modem from the 900T for Band 1700 IV? Does it have an FM radio or not?! (There is SO MUCH conflicting information to yes or no, for example all the non US carriers say yes on product page, then half say no)
The previous two questions are more important then last one. I am giving b my SM-900T for the Pink 9005 and I do not want major network speed degradation basically
N9005 Does not have an FM built in radio like the Exynos version. - As for the others i'll let others comment as I do not know

Thanks, should have figured it was an error on the part of carriers with mistaking the features between the two models.
~Heres to hoping for an answer from someone using the 9005 on tmo

Note 3 that can work with wind Canada

Hi,
I live in Canada and I use wind mobile.
Which Note 3 model versions will work with my carrier without troubles ? A list will help to buy online...
HSDPA is important, I don't care LTE since wind canada I think they don't have it yet...
Thanks
SM-N900W8
Just an FYI, it is also the same Note 3 model used across all the other Canadian carriers who offer it.
Sent from my SM-N900W8 using xda app-developers app
Thanks a lot,
is it the only model that will work with wind canada?
Thanks
Questions and help issues go in Q&A and Help section

Thanks

What about N900T? It should be pentaband, would it work?
Can a normal or LTE model be transformed in wind working flashing a new radio ?
Thanks

[Q] SM-N910F vs SM-N910C vs SM-N910U

Trying to understand the difference between the SM-N910F vs SM-N910C vs SM-N910U.
The 910C and 910U are Exynos. But what about the 910F?
The 910F is the one Samsung lists on their UK store, which I get redirected to even though I am in South America. But it isn't clear if it's Snapdragon or Exynos and I haven't found an official Samsung page that confirms the LTE frequency bands.
I have n910F from Ireland it is the same as in UK so snapdragon

Hello,
U can see some of Benchmark here
And also to see Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Model Numbers please go here
Try downloading CPU-Z from Play Store, you can see the detail of your Phone
Why not read more before ask? I'm pretty sure Google can gives you an answer in details.....
From what I read from Hong Kong Samsung official website, it does says the LTE frequency bands, but not very sure the others.

Is Samsung lying in South America?
They are selling SM-N910C which is Exynos and they are also saying it charges faster when we all know it's a Qualcomm feature....
Does Exynos provide fast charging too?
Can someone clarify this?

It is not a Qualcomm feature as they want all to think. Exynos model also has this feature.

Hello guys
I am in the UK and looking into replacing my Note 3 with the Octa core version of the note 4.
Do you guys have any experience with both the 910F and the 910C versions so you can give me some advice? Is the Octa Core version alot faster than the quad core? camera sensor quality differences?
I always root my devices but i am not intending to run any custom rom on the Note 4 as i was always happy with the stock Samsung ROMs. In terms of region lock, does the 910C come region locked to a certain part of the world or will it work here in the UK straight out of the box? I am also intending to use other international simcards so presumably if i root it and run "regionlock away" it should be able to remove region restrictions???
So far i only found a few units of the 910C versions sold on eBay. Do you know any other online shops that sell it here in the UK?
Many thanks in advance!
SM-N910C working in the UK??!

I have the same question! I have ordered the Exynos version of the Note 4 recently and I'm starting to think it won't work on the 4G LTE here in the UK but I want to know if it will work at all
All these questions are answered in the general section of the note 4 forum. I used to hate it when people would reply angrily to questions by telling the people asking the questions to search in a rude manner, but I can understand why they do it lol. I'm not telling you to search in a rude manner though lol but omg, the same questions are asked over and over.
The only eynos version that'll work on every UK 4g network is the N910C version. The snapdragon n910f is good but the exynos is better, better with overall snappiness, in games, and better sound quality too, I've had both versions
N910U is exynos cat6 while N910C is cat4. The U and C versions are somewhat international exynos. There's also korean only exynos versions, they end with the letters S, K and L, all these 3 versions are cat6 too.
Then there's a 3g only version n910H, Samsung couldn't have made this note 4 release any more confusing if they tried, cause there are even more versions out there! Hope you enjoy your notes
Get the 'f' Version. There's more development support for Snapdragon. Virtually all North Americans have the SD version as well as the world. Try sourcing your Note 4 from Handtec, not that I endorse them.

The IR blaster on the 910C works intermittently, meaning sometimes it works fine for a few minutes then stops. There are several reports of this in the IR threads.
Is there any direct compassion of 910C vs 910F regarding camera quality? i know its same sensor, but i wonder does the 5433 has the same ISP abilities.
