Diagnosis App v.0210

I received an update notification for the Diagnosis app (first time for Diagnosis). I didn't hesitate to install it, as I have the KK2 firmware blocking provisioning, and voila the new Diagnosis app is v0210 (meaning 10th of February).
I don't know what's new, is there a way to rip the xap off? Is it of any interest? Probably for devs to find bypasses etc?

[0.4] Nokia Portal - Install Nokia, HTC and LG apps on any WP8 device!

I wrote a simple app to configure Fiddler2 to change your device's brand to Nokia, here it is:

EDIT:
Due to the new Here Drive+ which costs money without this "hack", I will delete this application from the internet on the 20th of Juli.
Use it while you can.

Hi,
I tried it, however after setting up the proxy to my local IP (tried all types of IP addresses, none worked) in the WP8 Wifi settings, I simply couldn't load any page anymore with the phone - the internet was dead to it. Not even the certificate could be accessed.
I was using a computer attached to my home wireless router through cable, also tried accessing a computer that is directly connected to the internet, didn't work.
Did you check your program's functionality in other configurations as well?

@xdevilium: Nice work! I am hoping to write an on-phone solution for this, but it turns out that implementing a proxy server using the APIs avaialble for WP8 apps is a pain. Well done on simplifying the use of an existing app like Fiddler.

I'm working on a WPF version of this app, more user friendly
BTW is it even possible to configure proxy from an app on WP?

I would like to see other marketplaces, kind of like a Marketplace Changer like we had with Windows Phone 7.8
For example, I am on Verizon with a Nokia 928, I would like to access AT&T apps and HTC apps...I even want a app from LG's marketplace...

it works!
But most Nokia apps will not install on my Ativ S , I was able to install the at&t locker app , lets get some HTC apps!

The original information is in Chinese due to my system language.
It's about Microsoft.VisualStudio.ExtensibilityHosting 12.0.0.0 should be installed in GAC first.

If you want to get Root-access - press 4.
Before all actions make sure, that you are in developer mode and USB debugging is turned on. To activate the developer mode go to Settings - About phone, and tap 5 times to "Software version", then go to Settings - Developer options - USB debugging.

It isn't really about Russia v USA but at least with websites in English I can judge whether a source is reputable or not. I can't find any information on Allnokia.ru so think it's safer to follow the instructions in the other thread for getting Google Play on the X2.

I used these tools to install Play store on Noki X2 after updating it to newer SW version but now its not booting up ang got stuck on NOKIA logo. I dont know what to do.

I got the same thing, it seems to be just stuck at boot because some required service isn't starting properly.
You can still connect to your device with adb and go to /system/app and delete Vending.apk (and perhaps also GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk GoogleLoginService.apk and GoogleServicesFramework.apk ) files and your device will boot, albeit without google services.
Your other option is to reflash.

I can confirm that this tools can root the 2.1 update safely[emoji106]

Okay so it looks like you can't directly download it according to their website. You will need to follow the process on this page http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-80195/#windows to install the software upgrade assistant. And according to this page http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-80201/ it looks like the repair assistance is part of the software upgrade assistant you will have installed from the previous link. I know these are guides for the edge but it will be the exact same for the reg s7.

It's supposed to be in your S7. You need connect your device with PC. Tab in USB Option and chose install Software update or application something like that. Then your PC will appear Rom C or Rom D with Software setup.

Yes, it was put on the Huawei server within the last 24 hours.
It's the same as the Russian C10B156 update.
It's still not possible to install, but will be soon.

How about middle east C185B138 any idea when will be the new uodate?

Yes, but it's not on Huawei's servers yet, and online update/OTA update is not out. Maybe this week. Strangely, the European is yet to be seen, even though European was first for other updates.

Maybe they are hiding the updates on different servers?
Seems they are going to change updates so c636 be the first like they use to be on mate8.

It can't be installed with firmware finder unless Huawei approved the update for your device. You can install it with tools which cost money, or wait and see if Huawei will make it available to your device.

Yes, just insert what the app says and it works. The only thing is that when you update with this method it seems the version number on the systems doesn't change ( but the rest does ).
