When I flashed the news 4.3 ROM, it unrooted my phone. But the boot loader was still showing it was up locked. This happened to a lot of people. I can't say if there is a fix for this, but you have to re-root when you update to 4.3. And the root keeper apps, like OTA root keeper don't work when you update to 4.3.

you can just update the firmware and leave the boot loader alone. the link is in my signature for unknownforce's firmwares
other then that im not sure if there is a method to have the OTA and not loose root.... voodoo OTA rootkeeper still does not support 4.3

Mine kept root through the 4.3 ota using SuperSu survival mode. I don't think it's guaranteed though some were not so lucky.

I received OTA update for android 6.0 in my spice dream uno. After I upgraded to 6.0 it started to face severe battery drain problems. My phone is unrooted. I need to know the method to downgrade it to 5.1.1. Thanks in advance.

Nope.
It's easy to root and flash back stock rom. Just follow the guide and use Android ONE Toolkit to root and flash recovery.
