Hello, Multiboot doesn't work with my usb-frive anymore since I flashed some things.
And Ziddeys recoverymod script never has been working for me yet...
Can I use a different kernel and still enable otg in TWRP? Like AK-Kernel?
Is it possible to make AK-Kernel mount my usb-drive the way ziddeys kernel does? ( don't set the Mount point under /sdcard/usb/ but /mnt/usb/ ) ?
Could someone please tell me right order to do so and when to wipe cache/dalvik or wipe my phone?
Is this order correct?
1. Install Multirom.zip in recovery
2. Flash TWRP_multirom.IMG
3.flash kernel
4 flash Ziddeys recoverymod.zip
Thanks

Hello,
Follow this:
Flash the franco.kernel r194.
Download MultiROM Manager app from Play Store.
Chceck if the app says "Kernel has kexec-hardboot patch".
In the app at section Install/update select MultiROM v18 and recovery.
Click Install.
It will reboot and install everything for you. It worked for me!
Cheers, msihp.

Install ROM Manager and use that to flash CWM again. Then it should stick.

Hi everybody! I am quite new so please show some understanding recently I rooted, unlocked boot loader and installed rasbeanjelly ROM and trinity kernel. After a couple of days using it I decided to install Franco kernel.. So I downloaded it and installed it (thought so). When I boot up my nexus 7 the boot animation was still from trinity kernel, so I installed it again but same results. Please help :/ I install the kernels with CWM touch. Thanks in advance

i installed mine with fastboot because as far as i know the kernel file was an .img file and not zip (which it has to be for using cwm).
but donot forget to wipe your davlik cache after installing the new kernel.
It's beacuse the Franco kernel doesn't have a boot animation but you can flash the file i added to this post.
There is both ways to install the kernel, also with .zip! I cannot post the link right now because I don't have posted 10 times but I can send it by pm . thanks though

How did you install it? Via ROM manager (free or paid version)? If you used ROM manager free version you get only the version without touch... alternatively you can download the touch version from website and then flash it using galaxy s4 flasher for free from play store...

I downloaded it from the cwm site. And flashed it through custom recovery. I've tried it 3 times but touch is really broken.

Where did you get the recovery? As far as I know recoveries of official cwm site are in .IMG format thus you can't flash them through custom recovery because you can only flash .zip files. I downloaded 6.0.3.6 from cwm site (touch version) and then flashed it via SGS4 flasher and it worked well..I didn't try 6.0.3.8 but it should also work....I will try it later and then I will report the results.....

Yes it appears to be broken on the S4. I build the recovery myself and created a flashable zip but the touch function doesn't work.
Hello,
I can install ROMs in TWRP via Multiboot on my USB-Stick successfully and i can choise the ROMs in THW Multiboot menu, but then it always boots the ROM Form my internal storage.
It worked some time ago flawlessly. Did i flash something in the wrong order?
Or what could be the cause of that?
Thanks in advance.

On Stock ROM (KOT49H), rooted, xposed.
Whenever I try to flash Hells Doctor Kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/kernel-mod-hells-doctor-r8-t-r-d-s-mod-t2548872 via CWM (have latest version), installation gets aborted due to set_perm error (code 7). Kindly help.
Are you running the latest recovery on your phone?
Yes. I already mentioned that.

Thanks, it worked
TWRP works fine.. thanks..
One more quick question, if I install TARDIS mod patch, will it affect when I move to another kernel on the same ROM?
Kernel patches need to be re-applied each time you change the kernel.
