some1 from the polish forums said the rom was for the japanese i9000Y
Hi,
I was in UK unbranded 4.12, but after a lot of thought have flashed 10.3.1.A.0.244 using the flashtool. Now I want to root and install custom ROM. I have an unlocked BL.
1. Is this the correct link to root my device? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405
2. If so, can I install this firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2351803 or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208249 ?
I understand from reading from the guides that rooting will void the warranty, but after rooting and installing custom rom, is it possible to unroot in the future, if needed, to my stock firmware? I know this is a noob question, but have spent hours in this site for the past couple of days and still unclear, that is why these questions. Thanks

Go to the general section, start at the top, read the thread titles, done. Asking questions is one thing, asking to be molly coddled is another.

Your first question is answered by reading the thread title you've linked to, and the second is answered by reading the instructions in the OP of the ROM thread.

If you can't help yourself don't expect others to. You could have the ROM installed by now, but I guess you're still waiting for someone to point out the obvious.

There was little interest in the guide before it was removed. And now many are asking for it. My guide was stolen by another XDA member. Once staff have a chance to deal with the thief, I will repost it. I can only assume that they are busy though as I haven't heard anything further in four days. So they probably haven't looked into it yet.

Thank you so much.
I'm not sure if it is the same as fffft's instruction. But I will save it for reference.
Do you know if anyone has added successfully using this instruction?

^^ this thread is not 2 centimeters below your thread, you didn't care to check it before posting ? Pretty sure when you wrote the title of this thread of yours, XDA must have shown you that. You seriously didnt check it ?
Leave that aside, you didn't care to check the link you posted ? Its a Community Build bro, that translates to "Here keep this unfinished MM firmware and stop whining while we continue to work on OnePlus 3" in OnePlus' dictionary.
A Beta Build as the kids nowadays call it.
dammit! i got excited that official 3.1.1 rolled out.
