I would love to see Omni-rom on Droid Razr HD - RAZR HD General

I would love to see Omni-rom on the Droid Razr/Maxx HD, the rom looks very promising and I would live to see the multitasking thing on here. Who here would love Omni-rom to come to the Droid Razr HD (XT925 & XT926)?

[Q] Wildfire Vs Milestone

Hi...
Recently I saw a Motorola Milestone, and generally i fall in love with this phone because of the physical keyboard. Now I am using Wildfire.
If you have to choose, which one do you prefer? Wildfire or Motorola Milestone?
Thanks...
I'd say i prefer the wildfire, beacause i like htc and htc sense ui.
id say milestone 2 or desire z - would rather have a physical keypad

Good Gingerbread ROM for Droid X?

I'm about to root a friend's Droid X and was wondering which gingerbread ROM should I flash on it. I'm an EVO user, so this is my first time posting in this Droid X forum. Thanks for any info...
No gingerbread for Droid x yet.

LOL Wish me luck explaining this to my friend! He is one of those that can't really tell the difference. He saw a video on YouTube where someone claims it's Gingerbread on Droid X but I knew too well that it's 2.2 with a GB theme. He won't understand this and just say, your EVO has Gingerbread, I want it on mine phone too. LOL Oh well...
On that note, what is the best 2.2 ROM for the Droid X?
Yeah... no 2.3 yet. P3Droid is close, but he hasn't been able to root his build yet, so we don't have anything. We've got themes and things ported like the keyboard but no official builds.
There's a pretty decent selection of DX roms, but they're quite similar. The overwhelmingly popular one right now is Liberty 1.5. The toolbox would be perfect for your friend as it allows themes and mods to be done really simply, as it's all GUI based. I've been running it since its release. I'd encourage you to check it out.

Libery, Apex, Fission and Darkslide are among the popular ones right now. I have had the best luck as far as speed goes with Fission and Liberty. Cyanogenmod is much anticipated for the DX and should be hopefully available soon.
Apex and liberty are my favorites

Cyanogenmod for x

The milestone has a encrypted and locked bootloader similiar if not exactly the same as the droid x. How is the milestone capable of running cyanogenmod and we cant on the dx? If anyone was ever capable of porting over cyanogenmod to the dx how difficult would it be to make the hdmi port work like it does on the htc evo?

The custom kernel will not allow full development for the droid x. But there is a dev I think porting Cyanogenmod to the dx using the stock kernel.
That dev is cvpcs and you can follow his work at his blog at http://cvpcs.org and on twitter at @cvpcs. The project name is CM4DX.
thanx for the clearification

I'm curious about MIUI as well. Somehow the Milestone has MIUI but not the droid x? Doesn't surprise me but I'm slightly jealous to say the least...
Here is something for you guys

Re: ICS for Droid X
I am uploading a video of the Droid X running ice cream sandwich. Shouldn't take to long.
It won't let me post a link but you can search for it under lithiasalesjs on youtube or Droid X icecream sandwich port.
Thanks
